Is it love or cardiac arrest? On their new collaborative single, “Lose My Breath,” Stray Kids and Charlie Puth detail a list of concerning symptoms: “I lose my breath when you’re walkin’ in, ’cause when our eyes lock, it’s like my heart stops.” Other maladies include dropping knees and a feeling of shock.
Fortuitously for Puth and K-pop octet, the song’s poppy beat and uplifting melody keep reviving them, and, in the video, Stray Kids even pull off some impressive dance moves on a floor covered in about four inches of water.

These awards are based on fan interactions with music, but they’re not decided by an online vote. Instead, Billboard decides its finalists and winners using the metrics that determine the Billboard charts, including record sales, radio airplay and online streaming performance. Previously held during the spring, these awards have also moved to the fall to line up with the tracking period for Billboard’s year-end charts: November 19, 2022 through October 21, 2023.
Taylor Swift led the nominations with 20 citations including Top Artist. She had multiple albums at the top of the charts, and her “Eras Tour” gave all her past music a major commercial bump as well. But was she able to overcome Morgan Wallen, a 17-time finalist this year across 16 categories?...

Stray Kids have canceled their set at this weekend’s Global Citizen Festival in New York City after three members of the K-pop group were injured in a car accident on Wednesday.
According to a statement from their label Jyp Entertainment, Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin were involved in a “minor collision” and were immediately examined at a hospital, where it was determined that they had sustained “mild muscle pain and bruises.” They have been advised to “receive conservative treatment for the time being” and have thus been pulled from their scheduled performance.
However, three members of Stray Kids — Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han — will step in and perform as the subunit 3Racha at the Central Park festival on Saturday, September 23rd.
Stray Kids are coming off a win for Best K-Pop at the 2023 MTV VMAs for our previous Song of the Week “S-Class,” which they also performed at the show.

Stray Kids took the stage at the 2023 MTV VMAs to perform “S-Class,” a song from their latest album, 5-star. Check out their appearance on the awards show below.
Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. donned near-military garb for their aggressive performance of “S-Class,” which oscillates between rapped verses and soft-sung choruses. The track really helps set Stray Kids apart from other K-pop groups; with heavy drums and dance breaks, the boys’ interest in hip-hop and noise music becomes clear.
Stray Kids took home the Best K-Pop VMA for “S-Class,” which Consequence named Song of the Week earlier this year. The group — one of 10 K-pop acts who ruled the genre in 2022 — recently played a triumphant show in Atlanta that we recapped in full. Revisit our interview with the boy band here.
