The 40-year-old royal - the second son and third child of King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie, previously the Princess of Denmark - is celebrating after reportedly proposing to his long-term girlfriend Tatiana Blatnik during a holiday with the royal family in Porto-Heli, Greece. Greece's former King Constantine II is recovering in hospital after undergoing heart surgery. The 68-year-old royal - who ruled Greece from 1964 until the monarchy was abolished in 1973 - had an operation to unblock and artery and replace one of his heart valves at Wellington Hospital in north-west London. A hospital spokesman said: "King Constantine underwent successful aortic valve replacement and single bypass surgery. The patient is currently recovering in the intensive care unit."
