A caller on The Wright Stuff got quite the reaction when he brought up #piggate this morning (September 21).
Matthew Wright was hosting a phone-in when a caller named Dan decided to mention the extraordinary allegation that David Cameron put a "private part" in a dead pig's mouth when he was a student at Oxford University.
...and here's one very good reason to leave #piggate discussion to Twitter pic.twitter.com/oaa1ZCZ5CM

Read Digital Spy's round-up of the best Twitter reactions to #piggate.
During a discussion about Jeremy Corbyn on the show, Dan was asked by Wright whether he thought Labour members would potentially leave the party to join the Liberal Democrats.
Dan answered: "Well I think you've also got this issue of the Prime Minister putting his cock in a dead pig's mouth."
However, Wright immediately got irate with the caller.

Vernon Kay's All Star Family Fortunes will be missing from the schedules for a while, as ITV plans to put the show on an extended break.
The celebrity spin-off of the popular format was revived in 2006 and recently completed its 12th series, with an average of 3.3 million viewers tuning in over the ten episodes.
Broadcast reports that the show is unlikely to be seen on-screen again until late 2016 at the earliest, with a further delay until 2017 also said to be a possibility.
"Family Fortunes is an old favourite and remains very much part of the ITV entertainment slate," an ITV spokesperson said. "We haven't got any episodes scheduled at present but we definitely will be seeing it back very soon."
The final new episode featuring talk show host Matthew Wright and Emmerdale actress Charley Webb is scheduled to air this Sunday, June 14.

The independent documentary filmmaker Margaret Anne Smith passed away in Sydney on May 18 after a long illness. She was 69.
Margaret was a significant part of our life at Ronin Films. I knew her for maybe close to 50 years, from student days at the Anu onwards. She was a tenacious battler, holding strong principles and doing her best as a lone artist to stand by those principles.
She always did things her own way no matter what, and though she never gained the institutional support that her work deserved, she was never bitter: she took rejections philosophically and remained determined to get the results she wanted by herself.
Through her own business, Smith Street Films, Margaret had made films for broadcast and the education market since l987, when her first five minute short film Eora was bought by ABC TV.
She grew up in Sydney and studied for an Arts (Hons) degree at Sydney University,...

Non-stop flatulence, a dead possum, and being too darn sexy. Are these the most ridiculous I'm a Celebrity fights in the history of the jungle?
After Croc campmates Melanie Sykes and Vicki Michelle bickered over a pencil in last night's show (November 26), we reminisce over some of the silliest spats over the years.
From Brian Harvey's continual wind to Darren Day being too darn sexy - here are 10 absurd jungle rumbles:
1. Darren Day's too sexy for the jungle?
Sizzling sexual chemistry or far too much flatulence? It was almost impossible to keep up with Darren Day and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's love/hate relationship in the 2002 series.
Palmer-Tomkinson shocked the entire nation as she revealed the root of their tension was all down to Day's unbridled sexiness, shouting: "I'll tell you why I am very uptight. It's because I think you are so f**king sexy."

Sinitta with a live lobster in her mouth is never not funny, Lembit Opik sobbing behind bars never fails to raise a smile, and Paul Burrell's eyes bulging with sheer, unadulterated terror... well, we'll let you take another look for yourself.
The official I'm a Celebrity line-up has been confirmed - including Coronation Street's Craig Charles, Towie's Gemma Collins, former footballer Jimmy Bullard and broadcaster Michael Buerk - and the launch date is set for Sunday night (November 16).
So as we wait to see Gemma Collins dining crocodile foreskins or Michael Buerk swallowing a kangaroo anus, we take a look at some of the most terrified (and often funny) faces pulled by petrified celebrities below:

The Wright Stuff has been cleared by Ofcom after offensive language was broadcast.
The Channel 5 show, presented by Matthew Wright, came under fire following a caller's foul-mouthed outburst aired on August 19 this year.
The caller, who was identified as 'Jason', was put through to speak to Wright live on air. The pair were discussing how Jason had become close to his wife's best friend.
At one point, Jason explained: "And then I f**ked her in the p***y". Wright initially did not hear the comment, and so asked Jason to repeat the phrase, which he did.
Jason's call was terminated, and Wright said: "I've had this wonderful run of good luck with callers, going on for years, and you've just spoilt if for me. What an idiot, what a moron, go off to ITV with your friends."
In response to Ofcom's concerns, Channel 5 stated that The Wright Stuff follows...

Sport Relief's Top Dog, honestly, was always going to be up our street. As the sort of people who still mourn Pets Win Prizes, the chance to see a bunch of canine companions having a go at various games was something that we were instantly on board with.
Of course, it's a plus that it's all for charity, but we'd watch this show even if it had nothing to do with Sport Relief. Not that it's a good show. Honestly, it's kind of shambolic. The set is a very shiny floor, with the BBC surely blowing its sparkle budget for the year on episode one. Gaby Roslin can barely hold it together when she tries to shout the game instructions over dogs barking. The phrase "on your barks, get set, go" is used.
So yes. It's kind of terrible. But we don't care, because it is so much fun.

"Too much time has been spent on what the facts are..."
That stonking Katie Hopkins line came towards the end of the eyeball-scratchingly painful two-hour slog that was The Big British Immigration Row.
It neatly summed up the pointlessness and vile nature of Channel 5's live TV talk show, which it laughably billed as "a timely and robust contribution to this vital national debate".
Hot off the 'success' of the equally tiresome Big British Benefits Row (Why is everything always big? And why is it always a row?), this follow-up was guilty of being even more preposterous, even more ugly and with an extra hour tagged on it, even more boring.
Like walking into a pub and listening to a selection of drunkards furiously debating, 'What came first - the chicken or the egg?', it was flabbergastingly vapid and bewilderingly bad in equal measure. Not that Channel 5 seems to care.

Not since Arg waddled around without any trousers on on Towie: Live has there been a more ugly and pointless hour of television than Channel 5's The Big Benefits Row.
Spongers and scroungers - two words we heard a lot during last night's hour of squawking and drivel - could easily have been applied to the Channel 5 execs who commissioned this nonsense.
Feeding off the laugh-and-point-and-feel-better-about-yourself success of Channel 4's Benefits Street, Channel 5 decided to beat its broadcasting rival to the punch and host a live debate on the subject. A subject which host Matthew Wright claimed had brought the nation to "boiling point".
What followed was click-bait TV. An hour of Daily Express front page headlines spliced together with Edwina Currie and Katie Hopkins hurling out bile and snarling like Gremlins to screams of fury from members of the audience.
There was zero debate, plenty of screeching and snide remarks,...

Benefits Street's White Dee is set to go face-to-face with Katie Hopkins in a live debate tonight (February 3).
The pair will form part of a panel to discuss benefits in the UK, alongside former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, ex-Tory MP Edwina Currie and former model Annabel Giles, who previously lived on benefits as a single mother.
Having featured heavily as a benefits claimant on the Channel 4 series, 42-year-old Dee will have to confront media commentator Hopkins, who previously compared James Turner Street residents to "parasites sucking the blood out of your pet terrier".
Channel 5's director of programming Ben Frow said: "With Benefits & Proud airing on Channel 5 last October and subsequent series from other broadcasters, the benefits debate is very much part of the news agenda.

Controversial talk show host Matthew Wright was the fourth camper to be evicted from the jungle in this year's I'm a Celebrity. How did the Channel 5 star cope with the snakes and spiders? And how does it feel to be evicted? We catch up with the TV presenter to find out…
How are you feeling, Matthew?
"I'm feeling great. It's good to be out. To be honest, I'd had enough of the jungle by Friday of last week. It seemed obvious that it was 'The Joey Show' in there and I was left twiddling my thumbs."
How tough was the show?

The snooker legend becomes the fifth celebrity to exit following last night's double eviction that saw Matthew Wright and Vincent Simone leave.
Davis explained that he'd really enjoyed his time in camp, saying to Ant and Dec: "The fun part for me was camp life. So much fun. I haven't stopped laughing."
He was also played back the clip where he stumbled into water before his Bushtucker Trial had even begun.
When asked what the hardest thing to overcome in camp was, Davis said: "My own stupidity. My own lack of common sense around camp."
He also spoke about the mood in camp, saying how it had changed since each contestant won an email from their loved ones.

"I was on the verge of pulling out because I didn't want to do a Helen Flanagan and let everyone down because I didn't think I could actually endure the challenges.
"But after three weeks, two hours a day talking with this guy, I knew that I could handle a spider - I had handled British spiders - but when I got there I didn't actually know if talking to a...

The 'Wright Stuff' host and the former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional finished ninth and 10th respectively, and while they both admitted they didn't mind leaving the show, the pair enjoyed their time on the Australian jungle-based programme. Vincent said: ''It feels good [to be out]. ''I had my time, my experience and I'm happy. I would have been happy either way, [to stay or go].'' Matthew added: ''It's great to go out with him. The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! stars begged for brownies after failing to win the latest Dingo Dollar challenge.
Joey Essex and Rebecca Adlington took part in the test, which involved putting together a jigsaw and then figuring out a code to release their dingo dollars.
However, Essex was distracted when he saw his first stick insect, as he initially wondered if it was a spider.
"I've never seen one of those in my life," he said. "It actually looks like a stick. It's a ringer if you compared it to some sticks - you'd never tell the difference. It is a stick with legs that moves and now I've seen two of them, it's like stick insect city here."
When Essex and Adlington had completed their challenge, they were thrilled to discover that chocolate brownies were on offer.

Vincent Simone and Matthew Wright have been voted out of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
The pair become the third and fourth celebrities to leave the jungle this year, following the exits of Annabel Giles and Laila Morse.
Asked by Ant and Dec how it felt to be voted out, Simone said: "It feels good. I had my time, my experience and I'm happy. I was going to be happy either way. It's weird now that I've left them. "
Wright added: "It's great to go out with him (Simone). There's certain people in the camp you get very special to and this is one of them."
Meanwhile, the former Strictly star said that the experience was "better" than he had expected.
"I have to say when I joined the first day I had a little panic attack, but now after the last few days I can say I really loved it.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Vincent Simone went on a scary high-wire challenge to win crumpets for camp - only for the celebrities to lose out after getting a question wrong.
Simone and Kian Egan embarked on the Dingo Dollar challenge together, but were separated by arrows pointing to 'bravery' and 'brains'.
Simone reluctantly chose to go down the 'bravery' path, prompting Egan to joke: "I think he'll scream like a little girl."
The duo then discovered that they were separated by a huge ravine and Simone had to use flags to signal the way to the dingo dollars.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional was forced to walk a high wire over the ravine to a platform, but was so scared that he started shaking and said: "I'm a little bit scared to be honest with you. I'm sweating."
He received support from Egan, who told him: "Keep looking at me,...

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! stars won a chance to spend the night in the Jungle Arms recently.
The celebrities were split into teams and took part in a quiz called 'If You Don't Know Me By Now' to win the chance to visit the camp pub, while Laila Morse chose a gold ball from a tombola drum to become the quiz master - who automatically won a ticket.
The blue team consisted of David Emanuel, Joey Essex, Rebecca Adlington, Steve Davis and Vincent Simone, while their rivals, the red team, were Kian Egan, Alfonso Ribeiro, Amy Willerton, Lucy Pargeter and Matthew Wright.
Among the questions were what style of dance Simone is famous for, which year Princess Diana wore the dress Emanuel designed, and which soap Egan's wife was in.
The blue team ended up winning, meaning that they were able to visit the Jungle Arms with Morse.

Steve Davis surprised fellow camp-mates by donning just a palm tree leaf to protect his modesty during a fashion show on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last night.
The world champion snooker player fashioned the leaf into a loin cloth - similar to Sinitta's infamous X Factor palm leaf bikini - as he took part in the Modesty Smock fashion show in the jungle yesterday (December 1).
He whipped off his white T-shirt to reveal his makeshift attire as he strutted down an imaginary catwalk, with David Emanuel, Laila Morse and Lucy Pargeter sitting on the front row and almost crying with laughter.
Speaking about his risqué outfit, he joked: "From my back-to-basics range - the Adam and Eve collection."

However, Adlington went around the camp to check that no-one else wanted to do the Trial, prompting Emanuel to throw his hat into the ring.
"David, I want you to have an opportunity to do a Trial, but because of the nature of the Trial with it being water, the only natural thing seems to be to go for Becca," Lucy Pargeter said. "Only literally because it's water."
Emanuel immediately seemed disappointed, as Adlington said: "I'm obviously more comfortable in water but I don't want to take the opportunity away from you."

Willerton accused the 54-year-old of "sucking up" to the Towie star due to his huge fanbase.

Later, Willerton got upset and went for a cry by the dunny, where she was comforted by Emanuel and Essex.
"I'm so gutted," she said. "I can't even hide it. I wanted it so bad, I'm disappointed. I do feel...

I'm a Celebrity stars Kian Egan and Alfonso Ribeiro have described Matthew Wright as "passive-aggressive" following a tense exchange over camp chores.
The Wright Stuff presenter and Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter voiced their disapproval at the fact that certain celebrities do not pull their weight around camp.
Earlier in the day, Lucy asked Amy Willerton to help her collect some wood but Amy didn't respond as she was sunbathing.
Amy explained that she hadn't heard her, adding: "When the sun moves on I'll come down and do one [a wood collection]."
Matthew complained: "Lucy and Rebecca are the sort of mother hens clucking around during the day and Amy, she spends an awful lot of time lying on her back doing nothing.
"Lucy went down for some wood and called for Amy. Amy didn't respond because Amy was very, very busy topping up her tan, yet again."
Lucy added: "I'm going to hold my tongue.

Matthew Wright did a Myleene Klass and worked a teeny weeny, white bikini while enjoying a shower in the jungle.
The Wright Stuff host revealed his skimpy two piece to a bewildered Joey Essex, before announcing: "The papers always want to know who's going to do the Myleene white bikini moment and [are] maybe wondering if it's going to be Amy or Lucy. But I can let you into a little secret, Joey, that this year's white bikini moment is coming from a fella.

I'm a Celebrity… Get Met Out of Here! contestants have completed the first part of the Halfway Holiday/Roach Trip challenge.
The campmates were divided into groups of three for a series of competitions, with the winning team being granted 24 hours of luxury in what was described as a "holiday they would never forget".
The losers of the challenge would be forced to spend the evening in a disused coach, which was filled with a collection of jungle creatures.
Vincent Simone was ultimately paired with Lucy Pargeter and Alfonso Ribeiro, while Steve Davis teamed up with Kian Egan and Laila Morse.
Amy Willerton was grouped with Joey Essex and Annabel Giles, and finally David Emanuel, Rebecca Adlington and Matthew Wright joined forces.
Egan vowed ahead of the first challenge that his team would triumph in honour of Morse, saying: "I'm going to kick everyone's arse because I'm going to make...

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! campmates Joey Essex and Amy Willerton have grown closer after spending the night together in a treehouse.
The young pair - who have already been seen getting cosy in the jungle's camp - were nominated by their fellow contestants to be the couple to share the luxury sleeping quarters.
After the campmates were told that they had to decide among themselves who would sleep in the treehouse beds, conversation immediately turned to Joey and Amy.
"You two. You'll gallop up there," said EastEnders' Laila Morse. "I thought, well I ain't sleeping up there so I ain't bothered."
Joey expressed his delight at the accommodation, which had three beds. "I'm in my element," he said. "This is like a dream. It's a real treehouse in a real jungle. It's like my ultimate dream. It's like Christmas."
Matthew Wright commented: "Two young good-looking people trapped in a jungle,...

The former newspaper columnist and TV presenter first revealed his surprising outfit to Joey Essex in the jungle shower.
"Do not be alarmed, you've got nothing to be alarmed about," said Matthew as he approached the Towie star.
"The papers always want to know who's going to do the Myleene white bikini moment and [are] maybe wondering if it's going to be Amy or Lucy, but I can let you into a little secret, Joey, that this year's white bikini moment is coming from a fella," he continued.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Rebecca Adlington has hit out at her campmate Amy Willerton.
The Olympic swimmer got upset after a debate about beauty pageants, in which Willerton defended her decision to take part.
"I'm completely natural," she said. "I don't have hair extensions. There's nothing about me that's artificial apart from my gel polish."
Adlington explained that focus on beauty makes her feel "very, very insecure", saying: "For me, I was an athlete, I wasn't trying to be a model, but pretty much every single week on Twitter I get somebody commenting on the way I look."
Willerton suggested that she is also the subject of "nasty" comments, saying: "[Say that it's easy to be me] to the 15-year-old me covered in acne and braces and glasses. I've been there, I know what it's like not to feel beautiful."
However, Adlington was upset after the debate and ended up being comforted by Laila Morse,...

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here stars Rebecca Adlington and Amy Willerton have clashed over cramped conditions in the merged camp.
The Olympic swimmer moved from her seat after Willerton came to sit with her and Matthew Wright on the journalist's camp bed, claiming the model had "pushed [her] off".
Asking if she could join them, Willerton placed herself between Wright and Adlington, but the athlete said: "I'm going to get off this. You've pushed me off."
"There's enough room, hon," replied Willerton.
Adlington argued: "No you're fine. No, you've pushed me off babe. Honestly, have it."
On the tension between the two women, Westlife singer Kian Egan said in the Bush Telegraph: "There seemed to be a slight bit of a clash between Rebecca and Amy. Me and Fonsy [Alfonso Ribeiro] kind of spotted it.
"It's the only time you've seen that too-ing and fro-ing between anybody in here. You...

Joey, Joey, Joey, Joey. The rest might as well have not turned up so far. Series 13 of I'm a Celebrity has been completely dominated by the Only Way Is Essex star and his Essex-isms.
Taking part in a Bushtucker Trial with Matthew Wright on last night's show, Joey was joined in a giant tube by mealworms, millipedes, crabs and cockroaches. For the first time in the show's history, the most intelligent creatures involved in the task were the insects.
"What do millipedes do?" said Joey, the great philosopher. The poor creatures are probably asking the same question about 'a Joey Essex'.
After revealing earlier in the week that he had never mastered the concept of telling the time, today's shocking revelation from Jungle Joey was that he'd never learnt how to blow his nose.
"It's like living with Norman Wisdom," commented Steve Davis. That's a bit of an insult to the late comedian,...
