"How'd it go? Any weirdos?" Sundance Selects/IFC have debuted the first trailer for an indie drama titled DriverX, which premiered at a few small film festivals last year. The film is about a stay-at-home dad who decides to take a job driving for a hip rideshare company called DriverX, an obvious reference to Uber/Lyft. At first it seems like a fresh new start, but low pay and wild La nights put an even greater strain on his marriage. Patrick Fabian (from "Better Call Saul") stars as Leonard, and the cast includes Tanya Clarke, Desmin Borges, Oscar Nunez, Travis Schuldt, and Melissa Fumero. This trailer makes it seem like this film will end with them saying hey, these apps are good, look what kind of new life it can give you! But I'm not sure. This is also lightly humorous, riding down the middle of the genre road without picking a lane.

Sundance Selects has acquired U .S. rights to Henry Barrial’s Uber-inspired “DriverX” starring Patrick Fabian (“Better Call Saul”) and Tanya Clarke (“Banshee”).
The movie stars Fabian as Leonard Moore, a 50-something stay-at-home dad in Los Angeles who is desperate to find a job and signs up to drive for the popular ride-share company DriverX, leading his marriage to fray at home. The film follows Leonard as he navigates L.A.’s late-night, Tinder-fueled party scene while adjusting to the new technology and the young millennials he drives around.
“The film was inspired by my own experiences as an Uber driver while waiting in vain for another movie to get green-lit,” said Barriel, who also wrote the script. “From the first moment where I was hired via text, without ever meeting or speaking to another human being, I felt something different was happening here that might be worth investigating in a film.

Leonard (Patrick Fabian of “Better Call Saul”), a middle-aged man living in the suburbs, has lost his mojo. It’s been two years since the demise of his record store, and now he’s a stay-at-home dad taking care of two young daughters while wife Dawn (Tanya Clarke) works during the day. If the show’s IMDb page is any indication, former Lost star Henry Ian Cusick has landed a role in Marvel’s Inhumans series.
First spotted by Screen Rant, Cusick is purportedly one of three new additions to the fold – the other two being Michael Buie (Grey’s Anatomy) and Tanya Clarke (Banshee) – with Cusick credited as Dr. Evan Declan. He’s one of the few entirely original characters written for Marvel’s Inhumans series, and will seemingly feature in six of the show’s eight episodes. As for Buie and Clarke, they’re attached to play the parents of Black Bolt and Maximus, the warring siblings who threaten to cause an upheaval for the people of Attilan. Expect to see Buie and Clarke embody King Agon and Queen Rynda, respectively.
Word is that Inhumans recently wrapped filming on its final episode, so it shouldn’t be too long before...

Banshee, Season 3: Episode 10 – “We All Pay Eventually”
Written by Jennifer Ames & Steve Turner
Directed by Loni Peristere
Returns to Cinemax in 2016 for a fourth season
In all of the craziness that is “We All Pay Eventually,” Banshee displays its growth over three gripping years by giving two supporting characters the chance to verbalize the heart of the episode, season and series thus far:
“I am guys like that…I will always be that man…I am doing everything I can to change. And every once in a while, I manage to convince myself that I’m a better person.”
And when Bunker gets so angry, Brock shows him what that really is:
“That isn’t anger that you’re feeling. That’s the shame and guilt…That is what makes you better than them. If you didn’t feel that, that’s when I’d start to worry.”

Banshee, Season 3: Episode 1 – “The Fire Trials”
Written by Jonathan Tropper
Directed by Loni Peristere
Airs Friday nights at 10 on Cinemax
Amid a full and explosive season three premiere that heavily features Chayton’s (Geno Segers) return to and influence on his Kinaho tribe, it’s a quiet exchange between father and daughter that sticks out to me:
“You came here for her.”
“I stayed for you.”
At this point, the man we know as Lucas Hood looks and acts the part. He is the sheriff of Banshee. He didn’t get the girl. He didn’t get the big score. But what he’s found in the post-Rabbit era of this story is that he belongs here more than he does anywhere else. Why not just leave and test that theory? Deva. A Glee Mom for Chord Overstreet – Tanya Clarke!
It didn’t take Glee long to find a suitable actress to jump in as Sam Evan’s (Chord Overstreet) mother after hiring Smallville’s John Schneider to play his dad. So who’s going to be the lovely lady responsible for bringing our trout-mouthed friend into existence? Guiding Light’s Tanya Clarke of course! She’s the perfect blonde to play Mary Evans, and she’s not bad too look at for a mother.
EW first reported Clarke’s casting, while also adding she will make her first appearance in the Dec. 6 episode, the same episode that introduces us to Sam’s dad. It’s really a no brainer they would appear together. Unlike the news of Schneider’s casting, Clarke’s came with the possibility of her character becoming recurring alongside Sam. With Sam’s parents being brought in to the picture,...

Glee has found a wife for John Schneider.
A few days after that actor was tabbed as Sam's father, and scheduled to appear on the December 6 episode, Entertainment Weekly confirms that former Guiding Light star Tanya Clarke will also come on board as Sam's mother, Mary.
She will also debut on December 6 and may stick around beyond that, as Chord Overstreet is signed for multiple episodes this winter. It's unknown at this time what brings the family back in to town, after Gleeks were told on the third season premiere that Mr. Evans took a job elsewhere.

If you don't want to know a few key points about Nov. 8th's episode of "Glee," you should probably stop reading now.
Although you should be able to guess from the episode title -- "The First Time" -- what we're about to say.
Ready?
Some of your favorite couples are about to get laid. And yes, things get kinda awkward.
While Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn's (Cory Monteith) first time shouldn't cause too much controversy, Chris Colfer tells Entertainment Weekly that he won't be surprised if angry activist groups get very vocal about Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) losing their virginity to each other.
"I absolutely expect to hear from them," he tells EW. "But I think it's handled very sweetly and very emotionally...They're expecting this big, raunchy, suggestive, brainwashing storyline when really it's very sweet."
Since we've seen it, we can confirm that it is, in fact, very sweet.

I know that as a reviewer, I’m supposed to maintain some degree of objectivity and not bring my own prejudices into what I watch, but let’s be honest for a moment: there’s no way that you can watch an Mma film on purpose and not know that it’s going to suck more than a little. I mean, seriously. I like seeing guys pummel each other as much as the next guy, but this is the second one that I’ve watched (the first being Never Surrender), and the feeling that they had made the film as a kind of endurance test was just as strong with this film as it was with that one.

Rise of the Gargoyles pits Eric Balfour ("24", "Six Feet Under"), veteran character actor Nick Mancuso, and soap opera actress Tanya Clarke against evil gargoyles that have grown tired of just sitting atop Parisian cathedrals and have come to life to terrify the "city of lights".

The telefilm centers on an ancient gargoyle monster whose terror is unleashed in modern-day Paris. Balfour stars as Jack Richmond, a struggling author whose outlandish theories on pagan architecture make him the laughingstock of the academic world. "Gargoyle" co-stars Caroline Neron, Jason Salinger, Nick Mancuso and Tanya Clarke. The movie, said to be full of CGI and special effects, is shooting through month's end in Romania.
The telefilm, a co-production of Canada's Muse Entertainment and Romania's Mediapro Studios, is executive produced by Rhi's Robert Halmi Sr. and Muse's Michael Prupas.
Bill Corcoran is directing the telefilm, while Pierre Jodoin is the director of photography. Francois Sylvestre and Andreea Stanculeanu are producing.
