Egot winner John Legend officially attached himself to “The Voice” coaching panel in its 16th season, after previously pulling his duty as an advisor. Magic struck on his first at-bat when he proved victorious with artist Maelyn Jarmon (Season 16). Now that the Season 20 blind auditions, battles and knockouts are over, can he prevail yet again on NBC’s reality TV show? Team Legend’s current group of artists will next perform in the all-important live shows.

Last night on “The Voice,” the Top 17 artists gave it their all in front of America as they performed live on the big stage for the first time. Team Kelly Clarkson kicked things off, followed by Team John Legend, then Team Nick Jonas and finally Team Blake Shelton. America voted overnight, and Tuesday’s results show named the Top 9 after a live bloodbath of eight eliminations. So who survived?

Team Nick Jonas got a big boost on Monday night’s episode of “The Voice” when viewers voted that Devan Blake Jones was the winner of the 4-way knockout. Two weeks ago, Devan competed against Savanna Woods of Team Kelly Clarkson, Carolina Rial of Team John Legend and Emma Caroline of Team Blake Shelton for the first official fan vote of Season 20. These four at-risk artists have been waiting on pins and needles for the results, which were finally revealed at the top of the inaugural live show. Devan now joins the other Top 17 contestants (see below) who are singing live for America’s vote.

The Knockouts for Season 20 of “The Voice” concluded on Monday, April 26, and coach John Legend is hoping to return to the trophy wall after two years since his only win. With a team of four female vocalists and only one male, John has developed a group of precision singers that straddle the soul, gospel and pop genres, making them one of the most competitive for the few spots that they’ll occupy after the first live show.
The Top 17 will sing live for America’s vote on Monday, May 10 and the results will be announced on Tuesday, May 11. “The Road to Lives – 10th Anniversary Edition” will air the week prior on May 3. If the same format as last season is followed, the top vote-getter from each team will advance to the next round and each coach will then get to choose one more artist to represent them in the semi-finals.

“The Voice” fans are rolling their eyes over Kelly Clarkson‘s choice to cut Avery Roberson during Monday’s final knockout round. Based on the results of our recent poll, this 20-year-old country artist from Rutherfordton, North Carolina was the person most “robbed” of a spot in the live shows. He faced off against Kenzie Wheeler in an epic knockout of the four-chair-turn country singers, with Avery being eliminated because Kelly was more a fan of Kenzie’s 90s-sounding voice.
Here’s a closer look at the poll results for which eliminated artist was most robbed, according to the fans:

The all-important live shows of “The Voice” Season 20 are almost here, but first we have to finish off the knockout rounds. The Monday, April 26 episode will feature the final knockouts of the spring with mega mentor Snoop Dogg, and NBC has already revealed the line-up that fans will see on the two-hour episode. Who’s facing off against whom? Scroll down for your “The Voice” spoilers of these key final knockout pairings, or watch the video above.
The knockouts are the important round yet, as it’s when the contestants get to pick their own songs and show who they want to be as an artist. Their coaches pair them up and both singers perform on the big stage. After the performances, the judge saves one person and sends the other one home … unless a rival coach decides to use their final “steal” to acquire them for their own team.
