It’s Monday so you know what that means, it’s time for our weekly review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show aired straight after Collision on Saturday night and, like that show, emanated from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Candaa. This show featured Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and Matt Menard on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Trent Beretta def. Dalton Castle The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Castle threw Trent to the mat with a gut wrench. Dalton cracked Trent with a running knee strike, knocking Trent off the apron to the floor. Trent spiked Dalton with a draping Ddt on the apron. Trent and Dalton collided into one another with lariats, both falling to the mat from the impact of the double clotheslines. Dalton Castle slammed Trent to the mat with a gut wrench suplex. Trent fired back with a piledriver for a near fall.

Jennifer Lopez confronts her mistrust of technology to battle artificial intelligence villain Harlan, played by Simu Liu, in the latest trailer for Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi movie Atlas.
In the first trailer for Atlas, Lopez’s data-driven counter-terrorism analyst Atlas Shepherd first showed her deep distrust of AI when disaster strikes. But the new trailer sees Liu introduced as the AI character Harlan, whom Atlas has long hunted and is now shown to have nearly ended humanity after first being engineered to advance it.
So to save the the future of humanity from AI, Atlas, in the latest teaser trailer, learns to trust AI. As dystopian, ground-pounding carnage dominates the trailer, Lopez rockets off to a far-off planet to capture a renegade robot and teams up with a computer program named Smith in what appears, at times, like buddy comedy.

Dwayne Johnson’s stint at WrestleMania 40 might be over, but he is far from done. Cody Rhodes is the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after dethroning Roman Reigns, but The Rock is not quite ready to draw the curtains on their rivalry.
The former WWE champion lit up the arena with his presence in the ring on Saturday night. However, the story of the Bloodline ended differently, even as the stakes were against Rhodes. As momentous as the occasion was, Johnson also sounded a warning to the new champion.

The classic Kaiju movie formula may have been invented in America with flicks like King Kong and The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, but at this point everyone’s aware that Japan is the one that perfected the genre. From Godzilla to Gamera, Japanese filmmakers have made these giant creature features part of their national identity, so it stands to reason that the west can’t quite keep up when it comes to traditional Kaiju movies.
Sure, we’re lucky enough to be living through a Kaiju renaissance with Legendary’s Monsterverse and the occasional dark horse like Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim, but it’s really difficult for western cinema to capture the cheesy chaos of giant monsters wreaking havoc in densely populated urban environments. Thankfully, there are exceptions to this rule, and I’d argue that there’s one recent blockbuster that actually managed to reach the heights of...

I'll never forget watching the series premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead with my family on Halloween night back in 2010 (the premiere aired directly after Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake), so it's hard to believe that nearly 13 years later, the entire series is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD from Lionsgate. Featuring 54 discs and a 42-minute making-of documentary, The Walking Dead: The Complete Collection will be released on October 17th, and we have a look at the full release details and cover art:
Press Release: Santa Monica, CA – Here on August 25, the anniversary of the Wildfire Virus that destroyed the modern world – nearly wiping out the human race – a pandemic was declared in the universe of “The Walking Dead,” the Complete Collection of the two-time Primetime Emmy® Award-winning TV series arrives on Blu-ray™ and DVD October 17 from Lionsgate. Match #1: Royal Rampage – Winner: Darby Allin
My Thoughts: For those unaware what a “Royal Rampage” match is… well, due to the fact Rampage was taped at the same time as this week’s Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite the show had two rings. One red ring and one blue ring, both featuring different wrestlers taking part in two simultaneous “royal rumble” style matches. Which means the camera misses the majority of the action until the number of men in the ring is whittled down enough. It’s even worse than trying to follow a One ring Royal Rumble! Eventually...

Signature Entertainment has snapped up U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand distribution rights to Charlie Day’s (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) directorial debut, “Fool’s Paradise,” from Sierra/Affinity.
Day also leads the cast that includes Ken Jeong (“The Hangover”), Kate Beckinsale (“Underworld”), Adrien Brody (“The Pianist”), Jason Sudeikis (“Ted Lasso”), Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), Ray Liotta (“Dangerous Waters”) and John Malkovich (“Being John Malkovich”).
The comedy, written by Day, follows a down-on-his-luck publicist (Jeong), who gets his lucky break when he discovers a man (Day) recently released from a mental health ward looks just like a famous actor who refuses to leave his trailer.
The film is produced by Christopher Leola and Tim Zajaros (“The Peanut Butter Falcon”), John Rickard (“Rampage”) and Alex Saks (“The Florida Project”).
The deal was negotiated between Signature’s director of acquisitions and TV Elizabeth Williams and Sierra/Affinity’s executive VP of sales Kristen Figeroid.
