Walton Goggins is an extremely well-known and respected actor. While he has been making headlines recently through his work in Fallout, other iconic works have helped him become the star that he is today. One of the best examples is his hit series, Justified, which ran for six seasons and became very critically acclaimed.
Walton Goggins in Fallout
In the hit series, the actor played the role of Boyd Crowder, alongside Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan Givens. The pair naturally became very close through the filming of the series. However, by the end of the shooting, it would seem that there was a very apparent drift between them, and the reason for it is quite interesting.
When Is Method Acting Too Much?
The obsessive artist is a concept often talked about. Seen in cinema through works like Black Swan, Whiplash, and I, Tonya, it has been captured in several mediums; however,...

If you never thought Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake can be turned into something evil not once, it surely can — and the brand new horror has once again proven it. Coming as some kind of cinematic nod to Natalie Portman’s 2010 thriller Black Swan, Abigail sticks to the idea that classic ballerinas and supernatural horrors are actually very much compatible.
Though Abigail, starring Alisha Weir as a ballet dancer having yet to demonstrate to her kidnappers that she’s not a normal little girl, goes further than Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller hit, both movies have much more in common than it seems first.
Black Swan and Abigail Are Way More Similar Than You Thought
Natalie Portman’s Nina and Alisha Weir’s Abigail don’t unveil their inner villainy unless they’re triggered by different outside factors: Nina is always confronted by her ballet instructor Mr. Leroy, portrayed by Vincent Cassel,...

Wayne Brady is known for his wacky and sometimes wild improv segments on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which often helps him at other gigs.
One of those other gigs is the popular game show Let’s Make a Deal, which has Brady as the host.
He recently experienced a bizarre exchange with a contestant on the show who said she would “slap” him.
Brady was asking for it, though, as he said he wanted to try some “choreography” with the woman.
The result was the woman telling him, “I’m so sorry,” and Brady acted like he was in pain.
The recent game show highlight arrived after a Drew Carey highlight from The Price Is Right featured him accidentally slapping a contestant’s face.
Let’s Make a Deal contestant asked Brady, ‘Do you want to fight me?’

The intellectual faculty of the human mind is as fascinating for its complexity as it is for its unpredictability. With sincere misguidance, provocation, or inconvenience, it can shun the revered structures of moral and ethical foundation, which we pretend to so dearly uphold as the core of society. Accordingly, in the age of post-truth, the media plays a significant role in debilitating these foundations as well, through its all-pervasive influence and ability to distort reality. Todd Haynes’ movie May December examines the media’s responsibility in this regard as the movie takes a closer look at one of the United States’ most notorious, scandalous incidents.
During the late 1990s, the infamous case of an elementary school teacher named Mary Kay Letourneau, created a nationwide furor in USA. The woman had started a physical relationship with a minor, Vili Fualaau, who was a student in her class. Thanks to the media...

We take a trip back inside the mind of Stephen King with 20th Century Studios and 21 Laps’ The Boogeyman on June 2, 2023, and today four new posters have arrived.
Who’s under the bed? What’s lurking in the closet? Preview the supernatural terror below…
In the film, “High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain.
“When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.”
“’The Boogeyman’ is a classic horror movie in the mold of ‘Poltergeist’ that has scares and heart in equal measure,” says director Rob Savage. “I vividly remember the terror I felt reading King’s short story as a kid,...

The adaptation of Stephen King’s The Boogeyman screened at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas, and it sounds as though audiences are in store for something quite creepy. The first social media reactions from critics, including our own Chris Bumbray, hail The Boogeyman as an effective horror thriller with some great scares that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Just saw #TheBoogeyman at #CinemaCon which is based on the Stephen King short story. Like Smile, it was originally meant to be a streaming film, but it turned out so well Disney opted to put it in theaters. Could be a big hit. Sophie Thatcher from #Yellowjackets is great in it.

Saw #TheBoogeyman at #CinemaCon today and it freaking rules. Beautifully shot, super creepy, & excellent lead performances by Sophie Thatcher & Lil Leia herself, Vivien Lyra Blair.
Most surprisingly though is the action! There's some amazing horror action in it.

Natalie Portman was ready to make fun of herself when she appeared Tuesday on “The Late Late Show.” In seven minutes flat, Portman and James Corden cycled through some of the A-list star’s biggest roles. And no matter what Corden curve ball threw at her, Portman was prepared.
The segment started with Corden trying out his best moody Zach Braff impression as he reenacted “Garden State.” But it quickly became Portman’s show the second she donned Queen Amidala’s iconic wig from the “Star Wars” prequels. In rapid succession, Portman was decapitated (“The Other Boleyn Girl”), had her head shaved (“V for Vendetta”), was hit by a car (“Closer”), attacked Corden-as-Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”), took control of the legendary Mjölnir (“Thor: Love and Thunder”) and beat up some aliens (“Mars Attacks!”). Overall, the clip covered 21 of Portman’s films. Not bad for seven minutes.

Natalie Portman’s performance in the hit film Black Swan garnered a lot of critical acclaim from the film industry. But her acting also proved terrifying for Emily Blunt, who’d found herself in a film role not too dissimilar from Portman’s ballerina.

Natalie Portman won an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the feature Black Swan. The film saw Portman famously portray a ballerina experiencing a psychological breakdown with the pressure of perfecting her craft. Embodying her character meant that Portman had to go through a period of extensive training that pushed herself to her limits.
“The physical discipline of it really helped prepare for the emotional side of the character because you get the sense of the sort of monastic lifestyle that is a ballet dancer’s lot,...

The film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1973 short story “The Boogeyman” has been lurking in the shadows since it was announced in 2018, but now the monster movie has finally emerged with its first trailer.
The film stars Yellowjackets breakout Sophie Thatcher and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Vivien Lyra Blair as two sisters “plagued by a sadistic presence in their house” while grieving their late mother and enlisting the help of their withdrawn, widowed father, played by Chris Messina.
Not only does the new clip offers several glimpses of the titular beast, but it also reveals that the sinister force enjoys hanging at all of the usual late night haunt spots like the closet, under the bed, and that one dark area in the corner of the kitchen. More importantly, as the perfectly creepy David Dastmalchian warns, “It’s the thing that comes for your kids when you’re not paying attention.

This article contains spoilers for the ending of "Black Swan."
In Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan," mirrors, windows, and other reflective surfaces abound. There are times when ballerina Nina Sayers (Natalie Portman in an Oscar-winning role) falls out of alignment with her own reflection while practicing in front of a mirror. There are other times still when Nina sees mirror images of herself in other people. On the train, she and Lily (Mila Kunis), another ballerina in the same Manhattan company, are depicted as plainclothes doubles, dressed in white and black, in keeping with the roles of the Swan Queen (or White Swan) and the Black Swan in Tchaikovsky's ballet "Swan Lake."
In the closing credits, Portman, Kunis, and other cast members are identified by both their character names in "Black Swan" and their analogous ballet roles in "Swan Lake." The movie is all about Nina getting in touch with her dark side — and indeed,...

This article contains major spoilers for "Don't Worry Darling."
The release of Olivia Wilde's "Don't Worry Darling" has been overshadowed by rumors of on-set affairs and rivalries, like something out of the gossip rags during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Florence Pugh carries the film as Alice, a 1950s housewife living with her husband played by a dead-eyed Harry Styles in the utopian desert community Victory. After the death and disappearance of her friend Margaret, she begins to worry that there is something sinister beneath her perfect and glamorous life.
The script unfolds in a puzzling twist that dulls the impact of its critique on gender roles. Wilde has a greater command over her mesmerizing visuals. Working with cinematographer Matthew Libatique (who photographed the visually similar "Black Swan"), "Don't Worry Darling" juxtaposes a slick suburban landscape with Alice's psychedelic hallucinations in images that seem inspired by many classic films.
