Apparently this trailer for “Taken” director Pierre Morel’s “From Paris with Love” has been around since last year. Go figure. The French-set and French-written and French-directed actioner stars Americans John Travolta Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Yankee spooks in Paris who go after some drug-dealing folks. Since the film is co-written by Luc Besson, you can probably expect a little dose of American bashing somewhere squeezed in between the explosions and buddy-cop gags. Besson likes our money, but he ain’t above putting in a rib kick or two when the opportunity presents itself. In Paris, a young employee in the office of the Us Ambassador hooks up with an American spy looking to stop a terrorist attack in the city. Starring John Travolta, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kasia Smutniak, Amber Rose Revah, Melissa Mars, Richard Durden, Farid Elouardi, Chems Dahmani, and directed by Pierre Morel. The YouTube copy is crap,...
