Johnny Galecki’s emotions hit a high note—literally and figuratively—when a scene from The Big Bang Theory pushed him to tears. It wasn’t an epic showdown or a heart-wrenching confession, but a practical joke that turned the set into a mini soap opera. The moment? A seemingly innocuous scene with Kaley Cuoco that took a turn for the tearful. Galecki found himself so unexpectedly moved that he couldn’t help but cry after the cameras stopped rolling. Talk about method acting!

We had a feeling that Creel's eventual return to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be a big deal, but we had no idea that the Absorbing Man's existence could fundamentally alter the fabric of the series. But that's just the possibility tonight's new episode of the ABC hit presented when FitzSimmons began playing around with his blood in the lab—making a discovery that could lead to a civil war within S.H.I.E.L.D. before that other, bigger Civil War makes its way to the series. We learned tonight that, when Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) mixed a blood sample from Creel (Brian Patrick Wade)—the only known human with powers, now working as Gen. Talbot's (Adrian...

Fans eager for the March 8 return of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have a new hint as to the threats (or potential support) surrounding the team in the last half of this season’s run of episodes. The Absorbing Man, aka Carl “Crusher” Creel (Brian Patrick Wade) will be making a return to the show in 2016.
Creel was last seen in the second season fighting against all of our favorite agents, but a new hint this time around means he may be switching loyalties this year. It will apparently be “unclear if he will be a friend or foe to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.” When he first fought S.H.I.E.L.D. (or its remnants), Creel was an agent of Hydra that eventually met his fate incarcerated and handed over to General Talbot (Adrian Pasdar).

Brian Patrick Wade will be returning to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to reprise his role as Carl “Crusher” Creel aka The Absorbing Man. Crusher Creel will appear in the March 8th episode of the superhero/spy drama, however, there's a twist. Typically a villain in Marvel Comics, ABC and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. creative team state "it’s unclear if he will be a friend or foe to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.” Given the synopsis for the mid-season premiere, perhaps the show is retconning Creel to be an Inhuman. A regular opponent of both Thor and Hulk in the pages of Marvel comics, Absorbing Man has been summarily de-powered to fit into the context of the show. In the aftermath of his trip to Maveth, Coulson is more determined than ever to get to Gideon Malick and put an end to Hydra once and for all.

There's been a few photos and a trailer, but all off the shots of Charlie Cox in his first version of the Daredevil outfit in Netflix's upcoming "Marvel's Daredevil" TV series have been literally so dark that it has been near impossible to make out any details of the black suit.
Now, Film Ink magazine have made the character the cover boy of their new issue and have included the best shot of Cox's outfit yet, a more rough-and-ready version inspired by Frank Miller's take on the Matt Murdock character. Cox will reportedly slip into the iconic red Daredevil suit towards the end of the show's thirteen episode run which goes live on April 10th around the world.
Meanwhile a new photo from the series shows that the show includes a boxing match poster promoting the fight between Matt's father Battlin' Jack Murdock, and Carl "Crusher" Creel (aka. Absorbing...

Be careful of the Murdock boys. They got the devil in them. #Daredevil pic.twitter.com/ycGOg5sQnz — Daredevil (@Daredevil) February 20, 2015 It appears as if Daredevil will follow the comic books by keeping Matt's father alive into the future vigilante's college years, making it entirely possibly (but not confirmed at this point) that Brian Patrick Wade will be able to reprise his role as Carl Creel from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a rival of old Battlin' Jack. Of course, in that series, we met him as The Absorbing Man, but Marvel does always way that "It's All Connected". What do you think of this Daredevil/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Easter Egg?...

In another impressive outing for this much-improved series, the loyalty of new recruit Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) is seriously tested by the conniving Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) - but will the mercenary really betray Coulson and his team?
Meanwhile, Carl Creel (Brian Patrick Wade) is still on the rampage and more dangerous than ever, having absorbed the deadly properties of the all-powerful Obelisk.
Citizen Khan: BBC One 8.30pm

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s second season starts next week with an episode title "Shadows." Marvel has released several photos that feature a few of the show's new guest stars, including Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter, Lucy Lawless as Agent Isabelle Hartley, and Brian Patrick Wade as Crusher Creel. Also returning is guest star Patton Oswalt as Agent Koenig.
I really hope the break between seasons has given the creative team time to even out the uneven parts — namely the spotty villains, uninteresting plots, all over the place character traits, and just badly conceived season structure. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, September 23 at its new time, 9:00 p.m. Et.

After yesterday’s news that Hayley Atwell would reprise her role as Agent Carter in Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., the question that immediately sprung to mind was how? Her youthful self appeared in the first Captain America flick, but then the actress returned for the sequel all kitted out with a face full of prosthetics to play an elderly Carter.
Today, TV Guide has answered that question: she’ll be kickin’ butt back in the 1940s. The season opener, entitled “Shadows,” is set to follow on directly from the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Agent Coulson and co. are now wanted following on from the explosive ending of Cap’s last adventure. Now, that timeline certainly happens in the present – so where will Peggy Carter fit in? In a series of flashbacks, of course. Presumably to draw parallels between her and Coulson, as TV Guide makes the...

Hayley Atwell's Captain America character, Agent Peggy Carter, was last seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Carter is also getting her own series, but we won't have to wait until that series premieres to see her again. It was revealed that she will be introduced into ABC's Marvel TV universe in the first episode of Season 2 of Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D. I imagine it will be a flashback sequence of sorts showing the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s creation. But who knows, it was previously reported that the Peggy Carter series wouldn't show the creation of S.H.I.E.L.D. until Season 2 at the soonest. Here's a photo and synopsis for the episode, which is titled "Shadows":

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns later this month in the Us (there’s still no word on whether or not it will be returning to Channel 4 on this side of the pond), and Marvel have revealed the full cast list for the second season’s first episode. As a result, we now know that Hayley Atwell will be making an appearance!
With Atwell set to star in her own eight episode Agent Carter series during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. mid-season hiatus, you have to imagine that this will be some sort of flashback which helps set up the show.
As well as Atwell and the lead actors, the confirmed cast list includes a guest appearance from journalist George Stephanopoulos as himself, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, Patton Oswalt as Agent Billy Koenig,...

Marvel has released the official plot synopsis and guest cast list for "Shadows," the upcoming second season premiere of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The big surprise is Hayley Atwell is set to guest star as Peggy Carter. While the "Agent Carter" show is set in 1946, the character has appeared in both points of time in the Marvel Universe so it's unsure which version we'll see or how she figures into the plot. The best guess is a flashback tease for the upcoming limited series.
Here's the synopsis: "Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources -but that's not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again?"

The cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has grown a fair bit for its second season, and one of the most exciting casting additions is Lucy Lawless.
