Evanescence tap into quarantine fever with their surreal, iPhone-filmed video for new single “The Game Is Over.”
The clip, which the band filmed themselves (in collaboration with director P.R. Brown), maximizes their limited resources with an array of creepy effects and deadpan stares. The musicians scream, stand against blank walls, smear lipstick and don masks as the distortion and violent percussion builds to operatic heights.
“The Game Is Over” is the second preview of Evanescence’s upcoming album The Bitter Truth, their first batch of original songs in nine years.

Stone Temple Pilots’ new singer Jeff Gutt felt a lot of stress before his first show with the legendary band in 2017. “It doesn’t get any more high-pressure than that,” Gutt told Rolling Stone’s Andy Greene recently. “So much was riding on everything at that time.”
But Gutt won over fans and the band has toured steadily ever since — plus they’re about to release their first acoustic album, Perdida. The album was recorded on vintage instruments at drummer Eric Kretz’ Bomb Shelter Studios in Los Angeles. Initially, it...

Evanescence conjure a post-apocalyptic wasteland in the new video for their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.”
The clip was directed by P.R. Brown and finds the band performing the song while bathed in red light as smoke hovers around them. The clip is interspersed with some footage from the video game Gears of War 5 — for which the cover was recorded — as well as some sprawling desert scenes.
As Revolver noted, the video closes with a shot of drummer Will Hunt’s drum kit on fire, ostensibly a reference...

While on tour last fall in support of their symphonic-themed album Synthesis, Evanescence documented a concert they held with accompaniment from a full orchestra. They performed a number of songs from the recent album as well as hits like “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal” with added drama. They’ll be releasing a film of the show as Synthesis Live digitally and in combos that package either a DVD or Blu-ray with a CD on October 12th.

Carrie Underwood's new song "Little Toy Guns" deals with hefty subject matter, but the singer knew she wanted to lighten it up a bit for the video. "When we wrote the song, immediately you start thinking of video ideas in your head. The whole concept of the song is this little girl hears her parents fighting and it really affects her," says Underwood, 31. "There's so many people who can relate to a story like that. Talking about words and how much they can hurt and you just wish they were more like little playthings, things that didn't actually do any damage.

Dear Carrie Underwood fans, today is your lucky day! E! News has the exclusive sneak peek at the country crooner's music video for her new single "Little Toy Guns" off her latest album Greatest Hits: Decade #1! The video, which was directed by P.R.
