Sebastian Noel became the 10th contestant eliminated from “The Challenge: USA” on Thursday night, following his loss to Chris in the arena. In the game “Trick, Trick, Boom,” players were tasked with setting up barrels and panels to complete the perfect trick shots using balls provided by host Tj Lavin. After about 45 minutes of maneuvering his barrels just right, Chris prevailed and sent his “Survivor” pal home. Watch our exclusive video interview with the eliminated contestant above.
Sebastian calls his elimination “deflating,” and tells Gold Derby, “We wanted to roll with ‘Survivor’ all the way and we were very strong. That’s one of the best things about ‘Survivor’ players is that you form an alliance and you stick together. That was super cool. We got all the way down to the halfway point, where we had half the numbers were ‘Survivor’ players and the other half were ‘Challenge’ and ‘Big Brother’ — a mixed bag.

Monte Taylor became the eighth contestant eliminated from “The Challenge: USA” on Thursday night, following his loss to Tyler in the arena. In the game “Too Cool for Spool,” players were each strapped to a spool and then raced to a stack of balls shaped in a pyramid. Their goal was to recreate that pyramid on top of their spool. It may sound simple, but this grueling task took nearly three hours before Tyler finally completed it, sending Monte home. Watch our exclusive video interview with the eliminated contestant above.
“It was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done,” he reveals. “It took so much determination and patience. While you’re going through this, there’s a cable you’re attached to that has a counter-weight, so it is a physically exerting exercise to walk from the spool to the balls and bring them up to the spool and stack them up.

The Challenge loves to pit friends against one another in an elimination, and that’s exactly what happened in the arena on USA in Season 2 Episode 8, “Independence Day.” Johnny “Bananas” DeVenanzio and Tori Deal won the first daily with the players competing as individuals, they nominated couple Tyler Crispen and Alyssa Snider for elimination. Wanting to protect Alyssa, Tyler campaigned for it to be a guys’ elimination, which ultimately led to the hopper tossing out a ball for his close friend Monte Taylor. The two faced off in Too Cool for Spool: They were strapped to giant spools and had to race to a stack of balls and recreate the pyramid on top of spool. But as they moved, the spool would spin, causing the pyramid to fall over. About three hours later, Tyler won. Here, Monte takes us inside that elimination, shares what wasn’t shown this season, and talks Big Brother vs.

The tweet announcing Big Brother 24 runner-up Monte Taylor received one of the lowest “likes” and overall interaction, proving fans aren’t excited to watch the Delaware-based personal trainer in the upcoming season.

Big Brother has brought many iconic couples together over its 24 seasons. From “Brenchel” (Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly) to Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss (do they have a couple name?), it’s seemingly easy to find love in the Big Brother house. And the most recent couple to come out of the CBS reality competition series is Taylor Hale and Joseph Abdin, aka “Jaylor.” But in 2023, Big Brother fans are worried that Taylor and Joseph are no longer together.

During the season premiere, Big Brother 24 introduced fans to Taylor and Joseph. Taylor was a former pageant queen crowned Miss Michigan USA in 2021 and was voted Miss Congeniality during the 2021 Miss USA competition. And Joseph had graduated with a law degree and worked as a personal trainer.
At the beginning of the game, most houseguests ostracized Taylor.

The Challenge: USA kicked off its inaugural season in July 2022, which invited CBS reality TV stars to compete as the flagship usually only includes MTV personalities. Former Big Brother houseguests, including two-time finalist Enzo Palumbo, season 20’s Angela Rummans, who won five competitions, David Alexander (BB21), and season 23’s Alyssa Lopez and Derek Xiao, as well as popular The Cookout members Kyland Young, Azah Awasum, Tiffany Mitchell, and winner Xavier Prather competed. Although the USA appeared to have potential, the season flamed out in the finals when nearly all the contestants couldn’t figure out a sudoku puzzle, causing them to quit. Regardless, it’s rumored the show will return with a second season, and these Big Brother 24 houseguests should compete.

The backbone of Big Brother has been and always will be the live feeds. Without them, the CBS competition series isn’t special and is just like any other edited reality show. And if CBS ever entertains the thought of removing live feeds from Big Brother, they should just cancel the series instead.
Taylor Hale | Photo: CBS ‘Big Brother Canada’ canceled live feeds for season 11
Big Brother fans received terrible news when the Canadian version of the show’s Twitter account announced that the upcoming season wouldn’t feature the standard live feeds.
The tweet reads, “Attention Bbcan fam! As we head into Season 11, Big Brother Canada‘s Live Feeds are evolving. Behind the scenes content will now be delivered through Digital Dailies — uncut footage from inside the Bbcan house, offering viewers an extended peek into the houseguests’ lives.”

Let’s face it — every year, we tell ourselves that we won’t watch a new season of Big Brother because of the eye-roll-inducing changes CBS makes to the show. And time after time, the network pulls us in, and we’re glued to the live feeds despite lame twists and infuriating casts. We have a problem, and we acknowledge that. But at the very least, we will try to manifest (good) change to Big Brother in 2023.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and to celebrate, we’re looking back on five romances from the CBS reality competition show Big Brother. Showmances have been a part of the game since season 2 when Dr. Will Kirby first coined the term in the series. And whereas they are sometimes used for game purposes, other times, couples that meet on Big Brother carry their relationship over into the real world.

It became a running gag that Big Brother 24 finalist Matt “Turner” rarely showered, and Live Feed viewers insisted they never saw him in the showers. Playing into the joke, Turner promised to shower daily if he received a second chance on the competition show.
Matt ‘Turner’ promised to shower daily if he returns for another season of ‘Big Brother’
In September 2022, Matt “Turner” made it to the finale of Big Brother 24, where he believed longtime ally Monte Taylor would take him to the end. However, he chose Taylor Hale to his detriment as she won in a near-unanimous vote.
After his third-place finish, Turner has traveled with Taylor and their castmate Joseph Abdin to Canada and, most recently, Honduras. Additionally, he proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Megan Belmonte, in October 2022, a few weeks after the finale.

Hey,"Big Brother" fans. You guys remember Taylor Hale who just recently won Big Brother season 24 back in late September 2022 right? Of course you do, and we're pretty sure you remember Joseph Abdin from her season. According to a recent article from People.com , Taylor and Joseph have apparently coupled up in the post season instead of Taylor and Monte! Those of you who remember this past season 24 of Big Brother know that Taylor did seem to have a thing with Joseph during the season. However, when he got voted out and sent to the jury house, Taylor ended up hooking up with her runner-up houseguest Monte Taylor, and it appeared that those two would be the ones exploring something outside of the Big Brother house. However, that is not the case. Taylor has reportedly fallen back into the arms of Joseph, and we know exactly why. Taylor revealed to People.

Big Brother 25 has officially been announced for Summer 2023.
This is a big deal, as it opens the door for a new group of houseguests to try out the game.
Even though we just saw Taylor Hale become the Big Brother 24 winner, it’s never too early to start looking toward next summer.
The Summer 2023 start date for Big Brother hasn’t been announced just yet, but we expect it to arrive in late June or early July.
Since Big Brother All-Stars 2 happened so recently, the BB25 cast will likely all be newcomers to the show.
What fans can start debating about now is what the theme should be for the new season.

Big Brother 24 runner-up Monte Taylor was pretty shocked by the outcome on finale night.
After winning the final Head of Household Competition, Monte thought that he was about to win the 750,000 when he chose to send Matthew Turner to the BB24 jury.
Unfortunately for Monte, it was Turner who ended up being the only person to vote for him to be the Big Brother 24 winner.
When Julie Chen Moonves read off the votes, it was Taylor Hale who won Big Brother 24. The 8-1 vote total made it seem like a really one-sided season of the show.
Later, Taylor was also named America’s Favorite Houseguest, winning a close vote against two other fan-favorites from the season.
“I had no doubt in my mind that I would be coming out on top after the vote,” Monte told Entertainment Weekly after the season finale aired.

Twenty years to the day after Danielle Reyes finished second on “Big Brother 3,” Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the game when she beat Monte Taylor in Sunday’s Season 24 finale — and don’t think Danielle didn’t notice.

The first Black houseguest to make the final two, Danielle lost to Lisa Donahue by a jury vote of 9-1. Her loss was widely attributed to the fact that, at the time, jury members were sent back home after their evictions and could watch the show, allowing them to witness Danielle’s cutthroat moves and gameplay. [Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the Big Brother 24 season finale] Big Brother made history on Sunday, September 25, as Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the civilian version of the long-running CBS reality competition series. Hale, a personal stylist from West Bloomfield, Michigan, followed in the footsteps of Grammy-nominated singer Tamar Braxton, who won the second season of Celebrity Big Brother in 2019. And in 2021, Xavier Prather became the first Black person to win the civilian edition of Big Brother when he was crowned the champion of Season 23. The Michigan native beat out Monte Taylor in the Final 2, as the jury voted 8-1 in favor of Hale, earning her a cash prize of 750,000. But, the history-making didn’t stop there, as Hale also topped the vote for America’s Favorite Houseguest, awarding her an additional 50,000. Taylor Hale on making ‘Big Brother’ history: ‘This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again’
During every season finale of “Big Brother,” host Julie Chen Moonves hands out two checks: one worth 750,000 to the ultimate winner and one worth 50,000 to the person who viewers named America’s Favorite Houseguest. “We have made history,” Julie declared during Sunday’s “BB24” finale. Why? Because Taylor Hale was the recipient of both cash prizes, for the first time ever. (She also won a Princess Cruise for two — not too shabby!)
“This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again, but there’s a cash prize this time,” the Michigan beauty queen said on live television after Julie made the big announcement. “I’m gonna spend a lot of money at the mall. Also I think I have to go and buy some potato chips after this.” Of course, Taylor made history in another way as well, as she now becomes the first Black woman to win “Big Brother.

As is customary, the first eight members of the jury sit down together to debate the merits of the final three houseguests, often leading to some drama-filled conversations about how they perceived the season.

Big Brother 24 spoilers indicate that Part 2 of the final Head of Household Competition was played today.
This is a big deal because it sets the stage for who is going to be competing in Part 3 during the season finale.
As previously reported by Monsters & Critics, Matt Turner won Part 1 of the final Hoh Competition.
The endurance challenge that Turner won took place late on Thursday evening, hours after Brittany Hoopes was evicted.

Due to Turner being victorious in Part 1, that left Taylor Hale and Monte Taylor to battle it out in Part 2 on Friday.

Three houseguests remain on Big Brother‘s 24th season… but that 750,000 check can only be made out to one of them.
Monte Taylor, Taylor Hale and Matthew “Turner” Turner have successfully schemed their way to this season’s long-awaited finale, airing Sunday at 8/7c on CBS. And this particular trio is one of the show’s most stacked Final Threes in recent memory: No one here is a floater or perpetual competition dud, dragged along by stronger players to ensure an easy win on finale night. Rather, Monte, Taylor and Turner all have compelling cases they could make to the jury on Sunday,...

Despite a last-ditch effort to save herself this week, Brittany Hoopes was evicted on Thursday night’s live episode of “Big Brother.” The 32-year old hypnotherapist from Austin, Texas was sent to the jury house by Monte Taylor, who won this week’s Veto contest and the sole power to evict. Monte decided Matthew “Turner” Turner was better for his game heading into Sunday’s finale along with Taylor Hale.
“If I’m being honest, it makes most sense for his game,” Brittany told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “[Monte] is closer with Turner. I know I would have crushed him in those comps at the end. I feel confident about that. He’s right. His arguments were logical. It just wasn’t in my favor.”
Does Brittany think she could have won the jury over if she sat next to Monte? “I don’t know, it’s really difficult to say,...

Big Brother 24 spoilers from the live feeds reveal who just won Part 1 of the final Head of Household Competition.
Earlier in the night, Monte Taylor cast the vote that sent Brittany Hoopes to the BB24 jury. She will now help decide who the winner of the Summer 2022 season is on finale night.
Monte, Matthew Turner, and Taylor Hale became the final three houseguests left standing, setting up what could be a very interesting three-part Hoh Competition.

From there, the winners of Part 1 and Part 2 go up against each other in a challenge (Part 3) that is hosted by Julie Chen Moonves during the season finale.
