The Vanderpump Rules star, whose fame skyrocketed after her boyfriend Tom Sandoval cheated on her with one of her friends from the Bravo show, is to host Season 6 of Love Island for Peacock.
She replaces Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, who hosted two seasons of the dating show.
Hyland joined the dating competition for Season 4 when the show moved to Peacock from CBS. Arielle Vandenberg hosted the show since the format was adapted to the U.S. back in 2019 and remained at the helm for the first three seasons.
Love Island will return this summer. It is one of a number of iterations of the format, which began on British broadcaster ITV2. Peacock also recently aired Love Island: All Stars and has spinoff Love Island Games as well as seasons of Love Island South Africa and Love Island Spain.

Peacock has renewed Love Island USA for two additional seasons.
The show — which the streamer says is its No. 1 original reality series — follows a group of singles searching for love in a villa, but throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders face challenges, surprises, “bombshells” and more twists and turns.
Following the finale of Love Island USA‘s season five, which aired this past summer, the show’s executive producer Simon Thomas told The Hollywood Reporter that the goal is for the Islanders and the audience to “feel like the best summer vacation of all time” with “a little bit of drama along the way.”
When asked what he’d learned from season five that he would possibly change for future seasons, Thomas said at the time, “I would imagine that there will be things next year that you will see, which will surprise you, much like there were this year,...

ITV is moving its celebrity reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! from Australia to the UK after staging the show in its usual New South Wales home proved too challenging amid coronavirus.
Ant and Dec will host Season 20 as usual, but it will be set in the ruins of a countryside castle, rather than the tropical jungle of Australia. Celebrities will undergo all the usual grueling challenges and one will be named King or Queen of the Castle.
Richard Cowles, director of entertainment at ITV Studios, said: “We pulled out all the stops to try and make the series happen in Australia. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and despite us looking at many different contingencies, it became apparent that it just wasn’t possible for us to travel and make the show there.
“However, we are all really excited about a UK version of I’m A Celebrity.

ITV's director of digital and acquisitions Angela Jain added: "The all-new, revamped and reworked Love Island promises excitement, surprises and fun for ITV2 viewers."
ITV has already begun its search for vibrant singles, who will spend six weeks loved-up in a villa.
Jayne Middlemiss and Fran Cosgrave won the first series of Love Island, while Bianca Gascoigne and Calum Best won the second series.
