Bebel Gilberto prances around her hotel room in the charming new video for “Deixa.” The track appears on her upcoming album Agora, out August 21st via Pias Recordings.
Directed by Erik Sohlström, the clip features Gilberto at the Nomad Hotel in Los Angeles, applying makeup and eating decadent pastries while dressed in a striking pink sequined suit. The word “Deixa” translates to “leave” in Portuguese, but Gilberto takes her time in the video, basking in the sun and drinking champagne by the pool.

Cannes –Taylor Kitsch, Michael C. Hall and Nina Hoss are set to star in period thriller “Shadowplay,” one of the big series – with “War of the Worlds,” “Zero, Zero Zero,” “Years and Years” – on Studiocanal’s upcoming, event-series studded production slate.

Exclusive: Taylor Kitsch and Michael C. Hall are set to lead the cast of Shadowplay, a gritty dramatic thriller series from The Bridge co-creator Måns Mårlind, Studiocanal’s Tandem Productions and Bron Studios in co-production with Zdf. Nina Hoss, Sebastian Koch, Tuppence Middleton, Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus) and Mala Emde round out the cast of the series’ first chapter.

The story of legendary Swedish singer-actress Monica Zetterlund stars Edda Magnason in her first film role.
The biopic has been nominated for best film, best director, best cinematography and best actress for Magnason. Its other nominations include two of the three slots in the best supporting actor category for Kjell Bergqvist and Sverrir Gudnason.
Shed No Tears (Känn ingen sorg), about a man who dreams of success in the music world, has secured nine nominations. The film is directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein, back from Hollywood after directing action sequel Underworld: Awakening.
