Jeremy Allen White and Eyo Edebiri are just friends, apparently, but seeing their off-chemistry no fan can help but express they seem like they might be dating. First having shared screen space in the Emmy-winning psychological comedy-drama The Bear, the two actors will next be seen in the fourth season of the FX show.

To be honest, I really loved the ending of Borderless Fog. It has so much to unwrap. And not just the ending; the entire narrative of the film kept me on the edge of my seat. [Spoiler Alert] In the climax scene, Bujang, the tea seller-cum-border guard, confessed to killing the corrupt army official Thoriq Herdian, who had been working for the local mobster Agam Bin Yusof. Later, Bujang found Umi trafficking some underaged kids across the conflicted Indonesia-Malaysia border and decided to unleash his wrath upon the greedy woman who was selling innocent lives for money. Bujang had been a part of the Dayak community that dwelled on Borneo Island. The traffickers, like Agam, had been taking advantage of the conflict between the two neighboring countries. They knew that the Indonesian and the Malaysian authorities weren’t supportive of each other’s investigation into the matter of human trafficking, which allowed...

Monkey D. Dragon
While Luffy is acknowledged as a powerful pirate with the series’ progression, his father Monkey D Dragon is considered one of the most uncontested and feared pirates. This is evident when he protects Luffy from Smoker.
Although he seems invincible and powerful, the extent of his abilities is unknown. Additionally, Oda has created some major characters whose strength is uncontested and unparalleled.

Borderless Fog is a gripping movie on Netflix set on the Indonesia-Malaysia border. This region is home to various immigrant communities like the Malay, Dayak, and Chinese people. The cultural and local tensions here are intense, and it shows in the movie’s chilling storyline of a series of gruesome murders. These murders are brutal, with bodies found beheaded and heads attached to different bodies, almost like the killer is putting on a morbid performance to make a point. The local people blame Ambong, the spiritual god of the forest, for these horrific acts. But the truth is darker—these are revenge crimes by people fighting against oppression and injustice. The story kicks off dramatically with a body falling from the sky, and in a twisted artistic display, the head on it belongs to someone else. This bizarre scene prompts the police to call in Detective Sanja Arunika from Jakarta.

The Indonesian mystery crime thriller Borderless Fog directed by Edwin and starring Putri Marino, unfolds at the Indonesia-Malaysia border on Borneo Island. Police investigation began in the area when a decapitated body was discovered. The matter was taken up by the Indonesian police, and it was found that the body and the head belonged to two different individuals. The head was of First Sergeant Thoriq Herdian, and the body belonged to a Dayak activist, Juwing, who had gone missing six weeks before the discovery. Inspector Sanja arrived at the local police station from Jakarta to conduct a thorough investigation. The head of the local police department, Officer Panca, was not happy with her involvement. The border area harbored several secrets, and he feared Sanja would try to dig too deep. Sanja soon figured out that the murders were not committed at random; there was a bigger purpose behind them.

With exceptional frankness, director Mishima presented “Voice” to the public of Udine Far East Film Festival, revealing that the film – that she wrote as well – is inspired at large, by her own trauma of being sexually abused at the age of 6. Said frankness is something that comes undoubtedly from a long and painful path of recovery and the director has challenged herself navigating self-worth and guilt in her latest work.
Voice is screening at Udine Far East Film Festival
The film is in omnibus format, composed by three episodes of different style and far apart location, and a bridging conclusion. In the first episode, in a stylish house near lake Toya, in the North of Japan, a woman, Maki (Maki Carrousel) is preparing Osechi, a traditional New Year's feast that contains several dishes, all highly symbolic of good fortune, safety, good health and longevity. In doing so she follows the...
