I have become a really big fan of the Earth One series DC has created. With the first series of Batman and Superman being successful it was only natural that Wonder Woman would be next. Plus anything written by Grant Morrison is a must to own.

In sheer talent and stature, the supergroup SuperHeavy consisting of Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Ar Rahman, Dave Stewart (Eurhythmics) and Damian Marley matches the colossal Traveling Wilburys containing rock gods George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, and Jeff Lynne. However, supergroups have usually been beset with ego clashes and conflicting music styles especially the group Cream with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce each vying for the top spot during their fiery years together.
Yet SuperHeavy is definitely one of the most exciting and fresh pairings of artists. The group was the brainchild of Dave Stewart, who was listening to four different types of music at one time and listening to how the styles merged. Fans looking forward to Ar Rahman’s contribution may be a bit disappointed as he features on 10 of the 16 tracks, but Rahman’s great technical finesse on all his albums is apparent throughout.

New York (Reuters) - Dave Stewart went to the hilltop and called on a higher rock star -- Mick Jagger. Thus began Superheavy, a project shrouded in secrecy for two years and now with one album released this week to its credit
Stewart, founder of the Eurythmics, rang the Rolling Stones frontman from a hilltop in Jamaica with the idea of forming a super group from different genres.
They brought together British soul singer Joss Stone, reggae artist Damian Marley and composer A.R. Rahman, the Oscar-winning composer behind the "Slumdog Millionaire" score, to form Superheavy, which produced a record of the same name.
They tested the idea with a two-hour studio session in Los Angeles two years ago, producing what Stewart called "this huge noise."
"That gave us a lot of confidence," Jagger told Reuters with all his bandmates, except Marley, the youngest son of the late Bob Marley. "We got a lot of songs.

Alert! Alert! Mick Jagger has gone reggae again. Incredibly, it could have been a lot worse, says Alexis Petridis
Over on the SuperHeavy website, there is a short video of the freshly minted supergroup in the studio. It opens not with their most celebrated member, Mick Jagger, but the youngest, Joss Stone. "Aaaah-yeeeeeaaaah-a-hey-a-yay," she sings, as is her wont. "What the fuck is going on?"
The listener might be forgiven for asking the same thing when confronted with SuperHeavy, whose baffling lineup features not only Jagger and Stone, but former Eurythmic Dave Stewart, Bollywood composer Ar Rahman and Damian "Jr Gong" Marley. On the band's debut single, Miracle Worker, the latter seems as bewildered as Stone by the turn his career's taken. "I bet you never would believe that you'd 'ear Damian Marley, Dave Stewart, Ar Rahman, Mick Jagger and Joss Stone in a rub-a-dub version!" he cries at the song's conclusion.

SuperHeavy, the supergroup featuring Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, A.R. Rahman and Damian Marley, put out a new song titled “Miracle Worker.” It is available now on iTunes. As Jagger’s attempt at a “fusion of music from different parts of the world,” the first single is a smooth reggae groover that makes the group’s forthcoming album look promising.
