In advance of the Broadway transfer of Ghost The Musical, this morning Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy handed over the leading roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen as they are headed for Broadway. Mark Evans Welsh TV star and last on stage in the West End as Fiyero in Wicked and Siobhan Dillon finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webbers first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria and most recently on stage in the West End in Legally Blonde The Musical will take on the West End roles on Friday January 13th. London - There's a Hollywood cast for Britain's Whatsonstage theater awards, with James Earl Jones, Jude Law and Kevin Spacey competing for best actor in a play.
Jones is nominated for "Driving Miss Daisy," Law for "Anna Christie" and Spacey for "Richard III," alongside Benedict Cumberbatch for "Frankenstein," James Corden for "One Man, Two Guvnors" and David Tennant for "Much Ado About Nothing."
The prizes, run by theater website whatonstage.com, are decided by public vote.
Best actress contenders announced Friday include Vanessa Redgrave for "Driving Miss Daisy" and Kristin Scott Thomas for "Betrayal."

Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans are to join the cast of Ghost The Musical to play Molly and Sam in Matthew Warchus stage musical version of the Academy Award winning film. Richard Fleeshman has been cast in the musical adaptation of the hit 1990 film Ghost. The former Coronation Street actor will play Sam - the iconic role originally made famous by the late Patrick Swayze - in a new production due to premiere at the Manchester Opera House next March. Coronation Street's gay knicker-stitcher Sean Tully will fall for a gay bodybuilder in an upcoming storyline. At the beginning of July, Sean - played by 33-year-old Antony Cotton - embarks on a new fitness regime with friend and housemate Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) and regularly begins to attend a local gym. While there, Sean falls head over heels for clean-living and religious gay gym-goer Leon, played by Andrew Langtree (pictured).
