Though details about the film are still cloaked in a black, interplanetary goo, there’s word from the Sony camp that Juno Temple will star opposite Tom Hardy in the third installment of the slightly deranged McU-adjacent “Spider-Man”-related trilogy. Michelle Williams was the romantic lead, Anne Weying, in the first two, which concluded with Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom and going their separate ways. It is unclear who the 33-year-old London-born Temple will be playing in the new installment, but Deadline reported her involvement.
Also, the new chapter in the “Venom” story will be Kelly Marcel’s feature directing debut. Marcel co-wrote the first “Venom” with Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinker for director Ruben Fleischer in 2018, and the slightly unhinged superhero pic went on to gross over $850 million worldwide. Marcel was the lone credited screenwriter on the sequel, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” directed by Andy Serkis, which went...

Los Angeles, April 21 (Ians) ‘Ted Lasso’ standout Juno Temple seems to be trading soccer stars for comic-book antiheroes, as the actress is in negotiations for a lead role in Sony and Marvel’s ‘Venom 3’.
The new movie stars Tom Hardy as the titular lethal protector Venom (and its human host Eddie Brock), one of Sony’s slate of Marvel characters, and will be directed by Kelly Marcel in her feature debut. Character details for Temple are begin kept under wraps, reports Variety.
While Temple is perhaps best known for her Emmy and SAG Award-nominated performance as Keely Jones on the hit Apple TV+ series ‘Ted Lasso’ – which may or may not be ending soon – the actor has delivered memorable work in ‘Atonement’, ‘Killer Joe’, ‘Vinyl’, ‘The Offer’ and ‘Dirty John’.
She’s next set to star in FX’s ‘Fargo’, leading the Season 5 cast alongside Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

It’s almost hard to imagine Jason Sudeikis starring in “Ted Lasso” next to any other ensemble of actors. From Hannah Waddingham‘s brilliant portrayal of the fictional AFC Richmond football club owner Rebecca Welton to Juno Temple‘s scene-stealing Keely Jones or Nick Mohammad as the smarter than he looks kit man (that’s an equipment manager for us Yanks), the Apple TV+ series is something of a casting marvel.

Ted Lasso will be starting soon, and we had the opportunity to chat with the cast and creators to get their thoughts on the show.
As noted in the Ted Lasso review (which will give you a good introduction of the show for our series of interviews), every member of the cast is valuable and gets juicy and well-developed storylines; the series is an ensemble more than a starring vehicle for Jason Sudeikis.
Up today, we have an actor starring as the hotshot superstar on the Richmond Afc team, an actor/writer on Ted Lasso who also plays one of the team members, and an actress who has the good fortune to play opposite both gentlemen as a social media influencer who gets plucked to help the team by the new owner.
Juno Temple stars as Keely Jones on the show, who we first meet because she's dating the star player and team hotshot,...
