Amazon and Sundance Now have dropped the first UK and U.S. trailers for Ten Percent, the British remake of hit French comedy Call My Agent! in what looks to be a fairly faithful and quite fun adaptation. Amazon, which has UK rights, has set its launch date for April 28, with all eight episodes available that day on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland and other select markets. Sundance Now and AMC+ will premiere the first two episodes on April 29 in the U.S., with the rest of the season following weekly. Check out the UK trailer above and the U.S. version below.
From W1A’s John Morton, Bron Studios and Headline Pictures, Ten Percent follows the small London talent agency of Nightingale Hart as it struggles to adapt in an ever-changing industry.
After tragedy strikes the company, the personal and professional lives of the agents and assistants are thrown into turmoil.

When this ABC sitcom was renewed for a sixth season (despite low ratings), Constance Wu wasn't exactly overjoyed about the news. Though the actress later stated that she still loves Fresh Off the Boat, the renewal meant that she had to pass on other projects that she had been excited about doing. Unless she is contractually obligated to make a seventh season, it seems likely that Wu wouldn't want to continue with the show. Could the show continue without her? Will Fresh Off the Boat be cancelled or renewed for season seven? Stay tuned. *Status update below.

Up TV and Freeform have licensed the cable syndication rights to ABC’s family sitcom Fresh Off the Boat from Twentieth TV. The comedy will join Up TV and Freeform’s lineups later this year. The deal for both networks includes all four seasons plus the recently picked up season five of the series.
The pact comes only two months before Fotb is eligible for a syndication run this September. The late dealmaking is in line with the changed realities of the off-network business, with cable networks relying more on originals vs. acquired programming and taking their time to see how broadcast sitcoms perform over multiple seasons before moving in to buy them. The height of the cable syndication market was several years ago when TBS paid record price for CBS/Wbtv’s then red-hot comedy 2 Broke Girl after one season. The series’ ratings tapered off quickly after that.

It’s not often that a movie’s run-time doubles as both a strength and a weakness, but Tripp Rhame’s Bleed is one such balancing act. Clocking in at a brisk 1:17, credits included, we’re given a streamlined paranormal story boasting a quick pace, and little background concerning the film’s undead antagonist. Cannibal Kane is a new breed of monster, but unlike Freddy or Jason, his beginning is an unclear mess that’s overlooked in favor of a few jump-scares. Again, because the film runs by so quickly, we get our chills without much investment, yet with more attention paid to lore crafting, this could have been an introduction to a new horror mainstay. Not just a quick, spooky write-off.
Our journey starts with Sarah (Chelsey Crisp) and Matt (Michael Steger), two newlyweds who are celebrating their successful pregnancy with friends. Bree (Brittany Ishibashi) and her boy-toy...

Tripp Rhame's Bleed is a backwoods horror film, and with a prologue set in the 70s, you keep expecting the Sawyer clan to rear their ugly heads at any moment. However, it very quickly becomes a bit more than that. The setup is Horror Movie 101: pregnant Sarah (Chelsey Crisp) and husband Matt (Michael Steger) move out to a secluded house in your typical middle-of-nowhere hick town, where they're joined by friend Bree (Brittany Ishibashi), her boyfriend Dave (Elimu Nelson), Sarah's good-for-nothing ghost hunter brother who lives in a van (down by the river) Eric (Riley Smith) and his new-agey girlfriend Skye (Lyndon Smith). They decide to take a field trip to a nearby burned-down abandoned prison, because this is a horror film and they...

ABC has had a tough time launching new family comedies but, last season, they found success with Black-ish and mid-season sitcom Fresh Off The Boat. Will the latter grow its audience in season two or will ratings shrink? Cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
On Fresh Off the Boat, a Taiwanese family moves from Chinatown in Washington, DC to Orlando, Florida. They open a steak restaurant and experience serious culture shock while pursuing the American Dream. The castmembers are Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, Ian Chen, Lucille Soong, and Chelsey Crisp.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- typically around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh...

Hey shippers! Here is the "New Girl" episode you've been waiting for -- Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) are finally going out for an evening together. But of course there are obstacles in the way of the pair's "First Date."
The episode begins in a perfectly normal fashion, with Winston (Lamorne Morris) trying to find a phone charger.
Naturally, this brings up issues of attraction and dating for Jess and Nick.
Does going on a date with Jess require a hat fitting? That may indeed be the case when Schmidt (Max Greenfield) is involved.
Nick cleans up nice...
You know who doesn't clean up so nicely? That would be Outside Dave (guest star Steve Agee), who is strangely inside.
Is it really necessary for Jess and Nick to take notes during their date?
Even if the date was going well (notes or no notes), there is a bit...

This week's episode of Better Off Ted, "The Lawyer, The Lemur and the Little Listener," definitely was a stronger effort than the season two premiere, which we felt didn't live up to the amazing first season.
This week's episode featured a much stronger Ted storyline, as he and Veronica teamed up together to extract information from his daughter that she learned from daycare. We really enjoyed this storyline, and aside from pushing a little too hard on the baby-eatting jokes, it led to plenty of laughs and an amazing performance by Portia de Rossi as usual.
Linda, meanwhile, was busy working on her children's novel, which was a nice change of pace from her usual whining. She did a great job playing off the awkward Phil for some good laughs.
Lem was mostly too busy getting lucky with a hot lawyer, Nadine (Chelsey Crisp), to be interacting with his scientist buddy,...
