Dynamite Entertainment's "Negaduck" #1, now available, is a degenerate version of Disney's "Darkwing Duck", written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Ciro Cangialosi, with covers by Joshua Middleton, Jae Lee and Trish Forstner:
"I am the screeching fingernail on the chalkboard of justice. I am the sour ball in the candy jar of goodness. I am 'Negaduck'.
"He's the degenerate opposite of 'Dd' in every way. And now, he's ready to begin a reign of crime the likes of which 'St. Canard' has never seen.
"But what's a psycho mastermind to do when the city's thick with other criminals, stealing his shine? Why, take his villainy on the road, of course..."

Celebrated singer-songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello is back with a new song, “Virgo.” The single will appear on her first album of all new material in nearly a decade, The Omnichord Real Book, out June 16 via Blue Note.
“Virgo” is a slinky, eight-minute jazz-soul epic that blends everything from disco guitar and plucky synths to atmospheric washes of sound and a bit of ethereal harp: “They’re calling me back to the stars,” Ndegeocello sings. “Deep outer space, they’re calling me.”

Match #1: TNT Title Unification Ladder Match – Interim Champion Sammy Guevara def. Champion Cody Rhodes The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Cody snatched a side headlock on Sammy. After a shoulder tackle, Cody flexed. Sammy backflipped over Cody and connected with a corkscrew dropkick on Cody! Cody was looking for the Tiger Driver but Sammy countered and tried to hit the Gth but Cody escaped. Cody ducked a clothesline and used his momentum to push Sammy out of the ring. Cody walked up the ramp and grabbed a ladder. Cody propped up the ladder between the ring and the guardrail and as he was setting it up,...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the first of this weeks Aew shows on the road to Full Gear… Which I’m damn well excited for thzt’s for sure! Let’s get right to it.
Match #1: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Danny Adams
My Thoughts: Well this was awkward… Who let Tony Schiavone borrow the Delorean from Back to the Future and travel through time to wrestle Hobbs? I’m joking of course but Danny Adams aka Dan the Dad really does resemble a young Schiavone. He also got his ass kicked like Schiavone would if he did wrestle! Hobbs just messed around with Adams, playing with him like a toy before getting the decisive win.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Butcher and The Blade def. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta)
My Thoughts: This one was a great example of why Aew have...

Match #1: Sting & Darby Allin def. 2.0 The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
This is the first time Sting is wrestling on TNT in 20 years… Darby Allin laid out Daniel Garcia with his skateboard. Darby and Sting hit 2.0 with stereo Stinger splashes! The two teams brawled into the upper concourse of the arena. Daniel Garcia jumped back into the fray. 2.0 used “2 for the show” on Darby into the concrete wall! Darby Allin walked down the concourse ramp and dove onto 2.0 and Daniel Garcia! Eddie Kingston came back out and got some shots in on 2.0 and Garcia. Jeff Parker took out Sting’s leg.

Match #1: 2.0 (Matt Lee and Jeff Parker) vs. Duke Davis and Ganon Jones
My Thoughts: Good god Duke Davis and Ganon Jones are huge, putting 2.0 at a size disadvantage. But that didn’t stop the duo of Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, whose obvious experience offset the size and strength of Davis and Jones. Looking forward to hopefully seeing more of Duke Davis and Ganon Jones in Aew though.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Diamante def. Julia Hart
My Thoughts: Once again Julia Hart showed a more vicious streak, foregoing the smiles in the latter half of the match – which makes sense when you’re facing Diamante, who we all...

Valiant is once again relaunching some of its core titles, including Ninjak, one of its original 1990s heroes.
But after a reboot only three years ago, how does one make a spy action-thriller feel fresh and essential? By making it feel like the book is being written right off of current international headlines and having some of the coolest art around (see the 7-page preview below).
Writer Jeff Parker and artist Javier Pulido are putting the character, a master spy-ninja-freelance operative for MI6 who goes by the name of Colin King, into political intrigue and action when he becomes a secret ...

Jazz is a web. Because of the genre’s inherently collaborative, often mix-and-match nature, singling out a supporting player we like on a given record might lead us to dozens of other sessions featuring that same artist in various contexts. Or we might pick up a certain current in the music that crops up elsewhere, unifying albums that seemed to have little else in common. In 2020, when connection of any kind was scarce, these sorts of musical hyperlinks seemed all the more precious, a way to map and marvel at...

So now it’s the turn of The Cat for her own Anniversary Special, hot on the heels of several other DC characters. Catwoman, when she first appeared way back in 1940, was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane and known simply as The Cat. The Cat was a cat burglar, appropriately enough, and was a femme fatale love interest for Batman, in the spirit of the film noir movies of the day. Finger and Kane chose a cat because they thought it a natural enemy of bats and, speaking as a cat lover I can corroborate this, because cats can be cool, aloof, and little gits (I’m paraphrasing a little there). Originally just a villain, she has changed a lot down the years, both in looks, history, and temperament, and has become something of an iconic character through good writing and clever use.
