Last week on The Amazing Race, father and daughter team Scott and Blair were eliminated. The two came in just seconds behind Tyler and Korey but still finished in last place. After a few weeks of boring finishes The Amazing Race is finally heating up in season 28. Hopefully, the upcoming Leg 8 will be no different as the teams head to Dubai. Here are my predictions for which team is the most likely to be eliminated next.

(Spoiler Alert: Do not read this if you have not yet watched Friday’s “The Amazing Race” episode in Yerevan, Armenia.) As the current season of “The Amazing Race,” featuring stars from across social media, rolls along, co-creator and co-executive producer Elise Doganieri answers TheWrap’s questions about the most recent episode. TheWrap: On tonight’s episode, we saw racers from different teams gang up to make sure that the team headed for last place stayed in last. We’ve seen this before, but tonight felt different. Tyler Oakley went hands-on to help both Matt and Scott finish the oil change roadblock,...

According to predictions made so far by readers just like you, it looks like Friday's episode of "The Amazing Race" will be the end of the road for Scott and Blair. The father and daughter team, who narrowly escaped elimination last week, have odds of 7 to 5 to be bounced from the race this Friday. -Break- In the first leg, they finished last among the 11 teams and were hobbled by a Speed Bump in the second leg. While they rallied with a ninth place showing, in leg three they were eighth of ten and last week were barely ahead of the bounced Brittany and Jessica. A plurality of our predictors, 41%, are forecasting a last place finish for them this week. Another 28% are predicting that this week's episode, "We’re Only Doing Freaky Stuff Today," will be a non-elimination leg. The teams will be set tasks in Chamonix, France. (Click on the...

As a TV critic, I often feel that good shows don't have a big effect on me. Obviously, the great ones do. But I also find that the ones that I initially dislike are also the ones that I end up thinking about the most, long after they're over, wondering why they touched a nerve for me in the first place. How can something that inspires such a strong opinion possibly be all that bad? I thought about that question a lot while watching the new episodes of The Comeback. When it first premiered in 2005, I didn't love The Comeback,...

Season 25 of The Amazing Race has been amazingly entertaining. Last time we watched duos attempt to herd an angry group of sheep into pens while running them through a maze of fences (who needs a staff, or a real shepherd, anyway!) to make some authentic Viking torches. Guilty as charged - I love it when the show has Vikings on it.
After Scott suffered a severe ankle injury in the very beginning of the leg, firemen Scott Strazzullo and Michael Ward, unable to make up enough time, were eliminated from The Amazing Race. So who will take the lead on this leg of the race? Let's find out!

A nasty ankle sprain didn't stop Michael and Scott on The Amazing Race, but bad directions did. The Boston firefighters were on the verge of safety when locals directed them the opposite way to the pit stop at Scotland's St. Ninian's Isle. "It was bad directions and a host of things coming together," Michael tells TVGuide.com. "And we have no one to blame but ourselves." Is it worse getting eliminated because of bad directions than an injury? See what they have to say below. Plus: Find out how they feel about Phil Keoghan picking them to win before the season began.

Last time on CBS' The Amazing Race, the competition kicked off in New York City, and Phil Keoghan had some exciting news for the contestants. There is a game-changer called The Save, and it allows the winners of the first leg to save themselves from a future elimination. Misti and Jim Raman, the dentists with the dazzling smiles, were the first to reach Phil, and clinched The Save.
The sister duo of Lisa and Michelle Thomson were eliminated from The Amazing Race in an epic case of karma after they pulled a sketchy move on Michael and Scott, the Boston firefighters. So who will take the lead in this leg of the race? Let's find out!

It's going to take a while before this feels normal, isn't it? Friday (September 28) marked a new time period premiere for "The Amazing Race," which kicked off its 25th installment far from the Sunday 8 p.m. home in which viewers have become accustomed to football/golf/basketball delays throughout the year. That means that instead of having Sunday come to an abrupt end in the late afternoon as I wait for "The Amazing Race" to start, a normal Friday workday just never ends. So... Yay! Friday's "Amazing Race" premiere had the disadvantage of following a very good "Survivor" launch on Wednesday. I say it every year, but there's just not enough time in a single hour to properly introduce a full assortment of reality show contestants and also deliver satisfactory and fun challenges. So Wednesday's "Survivor" got to be 90 minutes and, perhaps as a result, I finished the premiere with...

Bucking years of delayed gratification and withholding, CBS and "The Amazing Race" announced the show's Season 25 cast on Saturday (May 31) morning, just hours after the contestants left the starting line in New York City. In recent years, it has become an annual tradition for "Amazing Race" enthusiasts to be able to cobble together the identities of between 85 and 100 percent of the teams based on purloined cell phone pictures snapped from airports and outside challenges around the globe, images that were then matched with cryptic tweets and obscure Facebook status updates to the point of near-certainty. Despite those reports, though, CBS reliably waited until weeks before premiere for a full, formal casting announcement. The reason for the Season 25 deviation is simple: Rather than picking a starting line in a remote location or at a controllable venue like a stadium, the 11 participating teams left Times Square earlier this morning from the civilian-packed...

With comedy finales galore and plenty of semi-cathartic drama, it was a full week in TV, giving us a lot to dive into on the podcast. First we take a look at the comedies, including the pilot of Friends with Better Lives, then we break down the comedy finales, including Chozen, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City, and Himym, and then we dig in with the hour-longs, from The Amazing Race: All-Stars to Hannibal to a tearful The Good Wife. Afterward, Scott Meslow, Entertainment Editor of The Week.com, returns to the DVD Shelf to help us take a look at the amazing, classic, and utterly unique The Twilight Zone.

With the holidays fast approaching, several TV shows are finishing up the fall portion of their seasons, giving us plenty to discuss this week on the podcast. First we look at the comedies, then some reality, including the much ballyhooed The Sound of Music Live and the finale of The Amazing Race. Next it’s over to drama, including a look at the pilot for Mob City, and then we finish up the week’s TV with genre, including Simon’s catch up with Banshee season one and the midseason finales of Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural. Finally, we welcome back Scott Meslow of The Week.com to the DVD Shelf to help us look at the all-time great sitcom, The Office (UK).
