Ironically, the shorter the fight due to a knockout, the greater the value for ticket money when it comes to Ufc knockouts.
It’s pretty amazing to watch a fight conclude after a few short seconds.
The Ultimate Fighting Championships have seen some of the ugliest and fastest knockouts. While some are slow and painful to watch, others have been swift and devastating, so sudden that the match only lasts a few minutes.
For most spectators, the faster a knockout happens, the more thrilling the match is. Ufc events happen every so often, so the record for the fastest knockout is hardly held for long.
Fighters get to redeem themselves when they lose in the shortest bouts while the winners set new records.
The fastest knockouts have not been consistently happening each year. Some date back almost seven years ago. Here’s a list of some of the greatest knockouts in the history of Ufc.

We’re back with another episode of the Getting Lucky Mma podcast (#011). Without an Mma event to preview or review, my co-host Marcus Mitchell and I talk about current news, such as the retirements of Alexander Emelianenko and Mark Hominick as well as the confirmation that Strikeforce is finally finished in January.
Episode Summary (#011): Our conversation then moves onto weird Mma facts and stories. I share the story of Ultimate Fighter hopeful and Mma fighter Ray Elbe, who literally broke his penis having sex with his girlfriend. Ouch. Mitchell chimes in with a way you too can own your very own authentic Ufc championship belt as well as exactly what Zuffa means. I always thought it was the Narnia Landfill.
As geniuses and Mma experts, Mitchell and I then offer up ways to fix the Ufc and Mma. I know you’re relieved. I go into the full details...

We return for another Mma podcast. This time we are previewing the massive card in Montreal, Quebec, Ufc 154. How big is big you ask? 13 fights! Including 5 on the main card. The highlight of course is the epic showdown between the Interim Welterweight Champion, Carlos Condit (28-5), against the returning Welterweight Champion, Georges St-Pierre (22-2).
Quite frankly this is a massive fight and one that will affect Gsp’s legacy far into the future. If he wins this fight, then the Anderson Silva fight must happen. If he loses, then Gsp must recapture his belt, perhaps by first fighting Nick Diaz and working his way back toward Condit.
But there are other exciting fights on the card including a #1 contender eliminator between Martin Kampann (20-5) and Johny Hendricks (13-1), the streaking Francis Carmont (19-7) against Tom Lawler (8-4), and England’s very own John Maguire (18-4) fighting Matthew Riddle (10-3).

November 17th, this Saturday, Gsp is back! As the promo said, this might be the most anticipated return in Ufc history. It’s been a long time since we’ve last seen Georges St. Pierre in the octagon. The last time we saw him he didn’t go out on a high note. In his fight with Shields, both men didn’t look like they wanted to be in the octagon. So as a result we recieved a very lackluster fight that nearly ruined an extremely exciting card. Many fans, or I should say internet fans, were not anticipated for anymore Gsp fights. Some went as far as to boycott Gsp. Well, their wish was granted when it was announced Gsp had severely injured his Acl.
It’s been a year since Gsp was injured and in his absence a group of new contenders have emerged. Originally Nick Diaz was...
