"Is your room, like, abnormally cold?" Gunpowder & Sky's new label Alter has debuted the first trailer for an indie horror titled Deadcon, starring real-life YouTubers. I cannot believe we're posting this, because they really are scraping the bottom of the horror barrel here, but nevertheless it's still free to watch trailers. The horrors and isolation of being a social media influencer run rampant when a collection of YouTube & Instagram stars soon discover there are things scarier than thousands of teenagers armed with phones asking for selfies. Deadcon is about a haunted hotel full of "vengeful ghosts of some of the original pioneers of social media" (ugh). Starring Lauren Elizabeth & Claudia Sulewski, plus Keith Machekanyanga, Lukas Gage, Dominic Burgess, Aaron Hendry, and Mimi Gianopulos. This looks like they stuffed every last horror trope / cliche into a social media movie knowing they'll get some people to watch it. Smh. Here's the first...

Jenji Kohan is a creative force helping to define two of the best shows of the streaming era — “Orange Is the New Black,” which she created, and “Glow,” on which she is an executive producer. “American Princess,” which she produces with creator Jamie Denbo, takes key elements of the Kohan playbook — a character placed in an unfamiliar community with its own distinct rules, a combination of utopian politics and disregard for cultural orthodoxy, a willingness to be gross and odd at times. Say this for Lifetime’s “American Princess,” then: Its failure makes clear what precise alchemy goes into making a show a success.
The pilot, for instance, is constructed with attention to story beats and to seeding conflicts, and paying them off with drama. Amanda Klein (Georgia Flood), a New York freelance writer, is gearing up for her gruesomely elaborate upstate wedding when she inadvertently discovers her soon-to-be-spouse bedding a sex worker.

People and Entertainment Weekly editorial director Jess Cagle put that to the test with the cast of Baby Daddy, asking stars Melissa Peterman, Tahj Mowry and Mimi Gianopulos to describe what their best and worst days entail. CBS has founds its replacement for Jennifer Esposito.
According to Deadline.com, "Law & Order" vet Megan Boone has booked a multi-episode arc on CBS' "Blue Bloods." Boone will be taking Esposito's -- who was given the boot last week -- place on the series as Detective Danny Reagan's (Donnie Wahlberg) partner. Seemingly, Esposito wasn't too pleased with her replacement, retweeting this: "CBS got rid of the only minority cast member so they can have an All White Cast like CSI."
While CBS said Esposito's departure was due to a scheduling conflict, Esposito claimed it had to do with her battle with Celiac disease in a series of tweets in the slideshow below.
