Once upon a time before she married a prince, Meghan Markle was a working actor who starred in the legal drama Suits. The now-duchess played Rachel Zane on the series from 2011 to 2018. Meghan left the show before her royal wedding to Prince Harry, an affair that her Suits co-stars attended.
The show had a resurgence in 2023 when it became available on the streaming platforms Netflix and Peacock. And now, there’s even a new reboot in the works titled Suits: LA. Because of that, there’s been speculation about whether Harry’s wife or any of her castmates will make a cameo in the new series. Meghan’s former co-stars haven’t had any contact with her though, and one even admitted he’s “scared” to talk to her now. Here’s more on that.

The “Suits” buzz continues! Gabriel Macht and Patrick Adams, who portrayed Harvey Spector and Michael Ross, respectively, on the USA Network series, will be presenting at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
“Suits,” produced by UCP, originally aired for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019. Adams and Macht starred alongside Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty. Sources tell Variety that other cast members were invited to present as well.
Although the legal drama was successful during its initial run, even launching a spinoff, “Pearson,” it reentered the cultural conversation this year when the first eight seasons began streaming on Netflix. (It was already available on Peacock.) Since it arrived on the streaming giant, it topped the charts for multiple weeks, even breaking a record with the most-ever No. 1 appearances on Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10 chart.

Move over, "The Crown" -- you're not the only major television series subject to occasional interference from the royal family. In one of the more bizarre intersections between entertainment and politics that you'll ever see, the recently-revitalized phenomenon known as "Suits" once counted a future member of the British monarchy among its core cast members: Meghan Markle. Back when she was merely a high-profile actor on an extremely popular show, the performer portrayed the paralegal, eventual lawyer, and Mike Ross' (Patrick Adams) love interest Rachel Zane. But as the years went on and she graduated from a relatively unknown actor to one of the most famous public figures on the planet through her real-life romance with Prince Harry, the influence of the royal family soon made itself felt on the actual production of the series ... even in the smallest and most mundane way possible.

Pretty Little Liars, the soapy teen drama based on the books by Sara Shepard, captivated audiences for seven seasons. The cliquey friend group found themselves being harassed by an anonymous “A” after the disappearance of their leader, snarky Alison Dilaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). But here was something the actor wished had disappeared with her character.
In ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ Sasha Pieterse loathed her character’s yellow ruffled tank top

Throughout the first few seasons of Pretty Little Liars, most of Sasha Pieterse’s appearances on the show were flashbacks from the night Alison disappeared. Because of that, she’s usually seen wearing the same piece of clothing — a ruffly yellow tank top.
