A bunch of stills plus a couple of sexy new one-sheets have emerged from Apisit Opasaimlikit's Thai comedy horror flick 'Dead Bite' (Aka 'Gancore Gud') ahead of the upcoming 16th annual Fantasia International Film Festival. The fresh duo of posters feature numerous hot bikini clad Asian chicks and also one (un)lucky dude caught right between a hefty cleavage whilst the new images give us a peek at a zombie plus a sea monster! Opasaimlikit stars along with Natee Aekwijit, Suranan Chumtaratorn, Nattawat Srimawk, Kittipong Khamsat and Witchapan Narkprasom. The fest being held in Montreal kicks off next Thursday. The July 19th start of Montreal's 16th annual Fantasia International Film Festival is drawing closer (it runs through August 7th), and the powers-that-be have announced the second wave of films along with a few selections from the new Axis section of the event.

Actor Apisit Opasaimlikit makes his directorial debut with new Thai comedy horror flick 'Dead Bite' (Aka 'Gancore Gud'). The movie is based around a hip-hop group who become stranded on an island that is inhabited by zombies and flesh eating monsters and was unleashed in theatres across Thailand last year. Hopefully the Western world will be catching up with this international horror soon. When you think international horror, some specific countries come to mind, certainly Italy, Japan, France, Korea…but Thailand? Not normally a hotbed of horror, but we've got two films to tell you about coming from Southeast Asia.
The first film is entitled Heaven and Hell, and it's an anthology ghost story film created by Yuthlert Sippapak and Tiwa Moeithaisong containing three short stories, "Heaven 11", "Nell No. 8" and "Ghost Legacy". The film is scheduled for a July 2012 release. Check out the trailer below.
Also coming out of Thailand is the zombie movie Dead Bite. Produced by Phra Nakorn Film Company and directed by Apisit Opasaimlikit, Dead Bite stars Opasaimlikit, Natee Aekwijit, Suranan Chumtaratorn, Kittipong Khamsat, Nattawat Srimawk and Witchapan Narkprasom.
