Chipotle Mexican Grill is releasing their very first movie in theaters across the Us.
Titled Back to the Start, the two-minute animated film is about a farmer who tries to be industrial before realizing he prefers his family farm.
“We produced this film to help illustrate the choices people face in deciding what to eat, and hope that it will encourage people to choose food that is raised with respect for the land, the animals, and the farmers that produce it,” Steve Ells, Chipotle’s founder, said in a statement.
Back to the Start was animated by Johnny Kelly and features Willie Nelson singing Coldplay's "The Scientist." The song will be available on iTunes for 99 cents, with 60 cents being donated to the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation which helps support family farms.
The film will be playing before feature films in 5,700 theaters across the country beginning in September.

In the world of strange bedfellows, YouTube and the Guggenheim would surely be the couple most likely to take the cake. Yet the museum has turned to the video-hosting site to source its creative talent for ¡ts forthcoming biennale of video art, with YouTube Play.
[youtube Y6a3T6O4SQU]
The two institutions, alongside collaborator Hp, are hoping to "elevate the debate" about what people can do with video. There are no limitations on content--from documentaries, to stop-motion, animation and music videos--in short, just about anything that will fill a YouTube screen, and the 20 finalists will be shown at the Guggenheim in New York, as well as its outposts in Berlin, Bilbao and Venice.

Even YouTube's senior marketing manager, Ed Sanders, admits that the shack-up is "slightly unusual on paper", but is adamant that the website is partially behind the recent explosion in creative video. "Much of this is driven by the growth of sites...

After years of struggling with substance abuse and health issues, Type O Negative singer/bassist Peter Steele was in a good place before his sudden death, his bandmates said. The towering frontman died at age 48 on Wednesday from apparent heart failure.
"It is with great sadness that we inform you that Type O Negative frontman, bassist and our bandmate, Peter Steele passed away last night of what appears to be heart failure," keyboardist Josh Silver, guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly, the grief-stricken rockers, said in a statement on their Web site. "Ironically Peter had been enjoying a long period of sobriety and improved health and was imminently due to begin writing and recording new music for our follow up...

Frontman's dark image belied his friendly, humorous personality.

I can't pretend I really knew Type O Negative frontman Peter Steele, who died Wednesday, reportedly of heart failure, although I'd met and interviewed him several times.
I knew his music, from the early days of his lurid mid-'80s thrash band Carnivore to the sophisticated melange of Black Sabbath, Sisters of Mercy, Pink Floyd and the Beatles that he and his bandmates conjured with Type O Negative. I knew that he was an amazing performer, haunting and charismatic, commanding yet never pompous.
I knew that every time I interviewed him we'd end up talking about how dismal the music industry — and life itself — can be, how our greatest weaknesses can obliterate our most powerful strengths. And I knew that whenever we talked, whether it was casual conversation at an industry...

I've never really thought of a PSA as art - important, corny, funny, dumb, sure. Art, no. Then this seatbelt PSA shows up and rocks my world. CNN reports.
RuPaul was due on The Bonnie Hunt Show, and Bonnie thought she'd show her appreciation by trotting out how many times her male staff ended up in dresses. I have to highlight Halloween, where the male staff came as Mrs. Garrett and Tootie, Blair, Natalie and Jo from The Facts of Life.
The interview with RuPaul was in two parts, and both are available on Bonnie's web site, but for whatever reason only part two was embeddable. Still, we can't underestimate just how incredible it was having RuPaul sit down with the Middle America Bonnie Hunt and show childhood photos, clips from Drag Race, and talk about being true to yourself.
I've gone from snow to rain locally, so I...
