Kirsten Storms has been a part of General Hospital for nearly two decades.
Viewers have come to love the legacy character of Maxie. The daughter of supercouple Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) has been through so much.
From getting Bj’s (Brighton Hertford) heart to her non-wedding to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), there are many memorable moments from her storylines over the years.
However, Kirsten has received some harsh criticism over the years. If she gained weight, the critics came for her.
Most recently, though, there’s been plenty of chatter about Maxie and her wardrobe. She was supposed to be the fashion icon of Port Charles, but viewers didn’t love what she was wearing.
After heavy criticism, Kirsten finally opened up about what happened with Maxie’s wardrobe and how she feels more like herself, which is shown on General Hospital.

Law & Order: Svu fans, get ready to rejoice, especially if you ship Rollisi (Rollins/Carisi).
While NBC is pretty tight-lipped about what'll happen on Law & Order: Svu Season 25 Episode 1, we know a few things -- and one of them will be super exciting for fans of this couple.
That's right: Rollins will return for the premiere episode, and she and Carisi will celebrate an important milestone.
There's no word whether this is a one-off appearance or if Kelli Giddish is back full-time. We hope it's the latter.
Writing Rollins out on Law & Order: Svu Season 24 Episode 9 led to colossal fan backlash, plus nobody ever filled Rollins' shoes very well. And now that Molly Burnett's Grace Muncy has left the building, Svu is even more short-staffed.
Rollins returned for Law & Order: Svu Season 24 Episode 22, revealing that she was unhappy at her new job,...

There is another face change in Port Charles as actress Nicole Paggi has temporarily replaced Kirsten Storms as Maxie Jones on General Hospital, beginning with the December 27 episode. As first reported by Soap Opera Digest, Paggi will take over the role of Maxie, the eldest daughter of Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) and Felicia Cummings (Kristina Wagner), who has been a part of the long-running daytime drama since 1993. Storms, who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2009, has portrayed the character since 2005. This isn’t the first time the character of Maxie has changed faces. Robyn Richards first portrayed the role from 1993 to 2004 before Storms took over in 2005. In 2011, Storms took extended medical leave, with Jen Lilley temporarily taking on the role. Storms also had temporary absences in 2016, 2017, and 2018, with Molly Burnett frequently stepping in in her place. Paggi is perhaps best known for playing Jennie Bradbury on Mike White‘s critically acclaimed Fox series Pasadena.

Nicole Paggi has agreed to temporarily become Maxie Jones on General Hospital. She takes over the role from Kirsten Storms, who will be out for a few days.
Soap Opera Digest first broke the news of the casting switch.
Paggi — who played Kelly Ripa’s niece/Faith Ford’s daughter Sydney in the ABC comedy Hope & Faith — debuted today on the ABC daytime soap.
Days of Our Lives vet Storms joined General Hospital in 2005 after playing Isabella “Belle” Black on the NBC drama from 1999 to 2004.

Just when we thought we'd seen the last of Kelli Giddish as Rollins, there's some exciting news.
Giddish has closed a deal to return for the Law & Order: Svu Season 25 premiere.
In true Law & Order fashion, details are classified, so we can only speculate what might bring her back into the team's orbit.
Of course, Rollins is still very much in a relationship with Carisi, and the last time we saw her on Law & Order: Svu Season 24 Episode 22, she was pregnant with his child.
Giddish was written out of the series last season, with reports emerging that it wasn't of her own volition, suggesting she was let go as part of cost-saving measures.
Many broadcast shows -- even the highly rated ones! -- are struggling with diminished returns, which is making the networks and studios make some decisions that don't benefit the story.

Nobody guessed back in 1999 that Law & Order: Svu would still be going strong 25 years later.
This series and Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson have become synonymous with supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
After a quarter-century of giving a voice to those who have felt unheard, Law & Order: Svu Season 25 has the green light, and we've got exciting news about what's ahead. Bookmark this post so you don't miss a single update!
Law & Order: Svu has always been more character-driven than its parent show; from its pilot episode, it focused both on the week's crime and how investigating heinous acts of violence took a toll on the detectives.
Ex-svu alum and current lead on Law & Order: Organized Crime Christopher Meloni appeared sporadically throughout Season 24 as Stabler and Benson slowly drifted toward each other.

After 23 seasons in a red swivel chair, The Voice’s Blake Shelton took a load off Monday night to watch his last bunch of finale performances as a coach. He was sitting pretty, too, considering that the members his team, whittled down to just showman Noivas and country singer Grace West, were the likeliest to win the title. Did anyone from Team Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper or Niall Horan deliver such a knockout that they might pull off an upset? Did Noivas and/or Grace stumble? Read on, and we’ll discuss.

When Law & Order: Svu returns for Season 25, it will be without a familiar face.
According to TV Line, Molly Burnett is bowing out as Det. Grace Muncy as a series regular.
Burnett's exit played out during the conclusion of Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3, which served as a crossover with Svu.
Muncy revealed to Joe Velasco (Octavio Pisano) that Chief Tommy McGrath (Terry Serpico) had rewarded her dedication to the Elias Olsen case by giving her a spot on a DEA task force.
As a result, Burnett is no longer a series regular, but that doesn't mean she won't pop back up down the line.
If the Law & Order universe has taught us anything, former stars are never truly gone and pop back up when there's a story to tell.
Wolf Entertainment, which produces Svu, shared a clip of Molly's goodbye in more detail.

This article contains spoilers for the “NCIS: Los Angeles” series finale.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” showrunner R. Scott Gemmill’s goal with the series finale on Sunday, May 21 was to give the characters of the long-running CBS procedural as happy an ending as possible.
“It really was about trying to find a way to wrap up the series that would leave the fans feeling hopeful for the future of all our characters. And so we gave everyone what we figured was their version of happily ever after… at least for the time being,” he told TheWrap in a recent interview.
To that end, in the final episode, Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Anna (Bar Paly) tie the knot in an impromptu ceremony attended by the rest of the team — except for Hetty (Linda Hunt), who sends a congratulatory note.

Tensions were high after a U.S. senator was shot and killed at his daughter’s wedding. After reviewing footage from the incident, Shaw and Cosgrove realized their suspect was a waiter whose face was obscured by a KN95 mask. (He might have been a murderer, but at least he was being Covid-conscious.)

It doesn’t look like Captain Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) usual approach when trying to help a potential victim is going to work in the May 4 episode of Law & Order: Svu. In “Debatable,” Benson tries to help a student after she’s assaulted on a field trip, and Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice T) suspects a witness in the case may not be telling the whole truth. TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of Benson and Detective Grace Muncy (Molly Burnett) talking to Naomi (Olivia Daponde) after the debate team student sets a bus on fire during a school trip. Benson offers the teen snacks, but “I told the other detective I’m good,” Naomi says. “You’re on the debate team, right? All about getting down to the truth? It’s a lot like our job,” Muncy says before asking why she set the bus on fire.

Kelli Giddish will return to NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” as fan-favorite character Amanda Rollins in the Season 24 finale, a person close to the production told TheWrap on Tuesday.
She’ll also appear in the Season 3 finale of “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” with both shows set to air on Thursday, May 18.
In her final episode episode as a regular on the police procedural, Rollins wed longtime love A.D.A. Dominic “Sonny” Carisi (Peter Scanavino), who is still on the series. She also quit Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) squad and began an offscreen job teaching, a move that followed her being shot in the line of duty.

Detective Grace Muncy is a good cop who handles rape survivors with empathy. But Svu’s newest member is also a tough nut with, as Molly Burnett puts it, “anger issues.” Her protective shell cracks a bit on the March 30 episode of Law & Order: Svu after Captain Benson (Mariska Hargitay) has Muncy’s younger brother, Teddy (Michael Trotter) brought in as a person of interest on a case in which women are drugged and delivered to men who pay to sexually abuse them. Burnett talks about her complicated character and her experience being part of TV’s record-breaking crime show. Muncy is a bit of a mystery so far. She’s cynical and she sometimes seems to be itching for a fight. Who is Svu’s newest detective? Molly Burnett: I would say that’s true. Her mom died when she was really young and she was kind...

Benson has her work cut out for her!
Law & Order: Svu Season 24 Episode 2 was the second time in as many weeks that she had to push for justice for a rape victim, even though it meant someone else would lose out on their chance to land a big fish.
She also dealt with a lot of other nonsense, including Duarte's questionable behavior and his attempt to steal one of her detectives, tried to give Rollins some much-needed support, and hired a new detective. Talk about busy!
Duarte is a fine foil for Benson, but what was up with that semi-flirtation at the end of the hour?
He may be a maverick like Stabler sometimes is, but that doesn't mean he and Benson will ever be a good match, and there's enough drama without him trying to catch her attention.
Velasco: You're trying to bring the heat to get justice for non-white victims.

Law & Order: Svu Season 24’s second episode finds Benson in the Bronx for a sex-crimes case involving gang activity. As she tangles with the unit’s chief (Maurice Compte) over jurisdiction, she notices how skillfully his detective Grace Muncy empathizes with a young female victim. Impressed, says exec producer David Graziano, “Benson brings her into the Svu.” Mariska Hargitay herself suggested an emotional arc exploring “how Benson looks inward to recognize her trauma” — including her torture by psychopath William Lewis and perceived abandonment by Stabler — “and heal herself,” says fellow EP Julie Martin. The goal? “To become a better captain, friend and mother, and possibly consider a relationship.” Meanwhile, Martin predicts “bumps” for Det. Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Ada Sonny Carisi (Peter Scanavino) but says, “Their love will prevail.” Still, Giddish is departing this season. David Graziano, who takes over showrunning duties on “Law & Order: Svu” from longtime executive producer Warren Leight, told TheWrap that Season 24 will be all about “healing and deep trauma” for Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), who’s been put through the wringer over the last two decades on the NBC show.
Graziano is thrilled to be working with Hargitay, who agreed it was time to deal with Benson’s considerable losses over the years. He’s also glad to be reunited with Octavio Pisano — Graziano gave the actor who joined “Svu” last season as Detective Joe Velasco his first big break on the show “Coyote.”

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit fans now know when Amanda Rollins is her bidding farewell.
In an Instagram talk, showrunner David Graziano confirmed that Episode 9 of Season 24 would be Kelli Giddish’s last on the series.
This comes amid controversy as reports indicate that Giddish’s leaving the series was not the actress’ choice but pushed on her by “higher-ups” within either NBC or Wolf Entertainment.
So far, Giddish has not responded to the reports, but co-star Mariska Hargitay has shared some unique thoughts of her own.
Now, Graziano shared how Hargitay helped him in this “rough” time while giving hints to how Rollins’ story can end.

Kelli Giddish’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit exit may not have been her choice after all.
Just days after the actress’ stunning announcement she was leaving the series, a Variety report indicates the decision to write out Amanda Rollins was actually made by higher-ups within NBC.
Giddish leaving the series after 12 seasons was a surprise with little to indicate she wanted to leave the role she clearly enjoyed.
According to the report, the issues involved salary disputes and a decision to “freshen up” the series.
Mariska Hargitay reportedly fought to keep Giddish on alongside at least one producer, but the decision was out of the hands of both her and new showrunner David Graziano.
It throws new light on the sudden departure as it now appears writing out Rollins was not the actress’ choice but forced on her.

Kelli Giddish will be exiting “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” during Season 24, TheWrap has confirmed. The actress, who has portrayed Detective Amanda Rollins on the NBC procedural since 2011, will be in the premiere episode of the upcoming season.
“I wanted to address the chatter I’ve seen online and let everyone know that this will, indeed, be my last season on ‘Law & Order: Svu.’ Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life. I’ve been so fortunate to be a part of the ‘Law & Order’ family for the last 12 years. There is simply no other character on TV like Rollins. She’s grown and changed, and I have as well. I started on this show when I was in my late 20s and I’m grateful I got to spend so many of my adult years with Rollins in my life,” the actress said in a statement.

Mariska Hargitay is about to get a significant honor.
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star will receive the Dick Cavett Artistic Champion Award at the 30th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival.
This is a great honor for the actress, who has striven to be an advocate for various women’s rights groups and uses her role as Olivia Benson to bring attention to important issues.
It comes as the actress prepares for Season 24 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, with the first episode seemingly doing a story based on a recent (and huge) celebrity trial.
That will highlight another strong year for Hargitay as she continues her work on the iconic NBC series.
