We’ve been sent a whole heap of images from The Asylum’s forthcoming movies such as Mega Python vs Gatoroid, Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, Almighty Thor and Battle of Los Angeles. So we’re making today “The Asylum” day here on Blogomatic3000! The third, and penultimate, Asylum film we’re taking a look at today is Battle of Los Angeles – a mockbuster based on the big(ger) budget movie Battle: Los Angeles.
The film comes from writer/director Mark Atkins (Princess of Mars, DragonQuest) and stars Kel Mitchell – yes, Kel of Kenan and Kel fame, the gorgeous Nia Peeples, Gerald Webb, Dylan Vox and Theresa June Tao.
In February 1942 Us forces engaged an unidentified flying object above Los Angeles. Now almost 70 years later, the alien invaders have returned.
Battle of Los Angeles is scheduled for a Us debut on February 22nd.
