While Marvel Studios quietly rethinks its approach to blockbuster entertainment by limiting the content released yearly in theaters and on Disney+, industry insider Daniel Richtman could have a promising update about the next Avengers movie. According to Richtman, who has a decent track record for leaking information about upcoming film projects throughout the industry, principal photography for Avengers 5 begins in the United Kingdom next January. Initially, reports said cameras could roll as early as December, but that appears to have changed.
Richtman says the story for Avengers 5 is “more grounded” than previous chapters of the multi-million dollar-printing franchise. However, Marvel plans to “go big or go home” regarding the Multiverse so that fans can expect plenty of portal-hopping shenanigans as the MCU gets remixed from one adventure to the next. Marvel has dabbled with the Multiverse already, but the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine could push the concept beyond limits...

With the San Diego Comic-Con and D23 fast approaching, it surely won't be too much longer until we get a long-overdue slate update from Marvel Studios.
Some changes are bound to have been made following a return to quality over quantity and there are still big gaps in the Multiverse Saga which need to be filled.
It's looking like Young Avengers will be one of those projects and, according to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, that will be led by Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop/Hawkeye and Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The Marvels' post-credits scene set the stage for them to take charge of the team, so we're not exactly shocked.
As for who will join them, your guess is as good as ours...there are plenty of potential candidates, though.
Next up is Spider-Man 4. Earlier today, we told you that Venom is expected to play a minor role in the movie.

‘The Marvels’ was undoubtedly last year’s biggest MCU flop, losing a staggering amount of money. This prompted significant changes across the board, with Bob Iger emphasizing the need for the studio to focus on quality and reduce their creative output.
However, the movie also initiated promising developments, such as the ‘Young Avengers’ project, hinted at by Kamala’s efforts to recruit younger superheroes.
The post-credits scene of ‘The Marvels’ features Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel recruiting Kate Bishop into her new initiative. Kamala also inquires about Cassie Lang, who, as seen in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ goes by the alias Stature. The rumored members of the Young Avengers also include Skaar (Hulk’s son), Wiccan, Speed, America Chavez, Kid Loki, Ironheart, Toussaint, Patriot, and Love from ‘Thor: Love and Thunder.’

‘The Marvels’ was definitely last year’s biggest MCU flop. The movie lost an eye-watering amount of money and kickstarted some great changes across the board, with Bob Iger himself commenting that the studio needs to focus on quality Asap reducing their creative output.
But the movie did also kickstart great things, for example, the ‘Young Avengers’ project which was teased by Kamala’s initiative as she tries to recruit younger superheroes.

Marvel Studios has been tasked by Disney CEO Bob Iger with getting back to quality over quantity. That's why, moving forward, we're getting three movies per year and only two Disney+ TV shows.
We'd bet on Kevin Feige appearing at both the San Diego Comic-Con and D23 to share an updated Multiverse Saga slate, but some updates come our way today courtesy of scooper Daniel Richtman.
We'll start with Spider-Man 4. That's supposedly set to begin shooting this fall, with the plan being for the movie to arrive in theaters as soon as fall 2025. It's a quick turnaround, but very much in line with the wall-crawler's previous solo outings.
Here's where things get really interesting: Richtman adds that the piece of Venom left on Earth-616 at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home will play a role in the movie. Given what a dark place Peter Parker is likely to...

Grab your quiver of trick arrows and prep a boxed Macaroni and Cheese pot because Kate Bishop and Clint Barton could return for Hawkeye Season 2. A target with a rumor at its bullseye is making the rounds today, with whispers of Marvel developing a follow-up to 2021’s Hawkeye series on Disney+. The rumor comes from industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH, who says Marvel plans to put Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop and Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton at the center of an outrageous plot with The Raid-like elements.
Okay. The last time someone told me something would feel like The Raid, we got 2021’s Mortal Kombat, which was fun, but saying it’s like The Raid is crazy talk. So, pardon me if I’m skeptical. Alongside the sharp direction from Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, Moon Knight stands out as one of the stronger MCU Disney+ shows. Depicting versatile actor Oscar Isaac in a fascinating dual-personality role juggling between two worlds of Marc Spector and Steven Grant, this series pulled the viewer’s heartstrings in six episodes. However, this compelling adventure has not been continued despite its massive success and eight Emmy nominations.

They are fervently calling for the renewal of the show, especially after witnessing Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye getting renewed for another season. Hawkeye feels like Marvel Studios' most underrated TV show in many ways. While not every subplot hit the mark (Swordsman's peculiar role in the finale felt like a last-minute change), Hailee Steinfeld and Florence Pugh stole the show as Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova, and Vincent D'Onofrio made his surprise MCU return as The Kingpin.
Oh, and we were blessed with Rogers: The Musical, of course!
There's been no word on a second season, though Jeremy Renner's life-threatening snow plow accident and last year's WGA/SAG AFTRA strikes will have done little to help matters.
Steinfeld made a surprise appearance in The Marvels where she was recruited by Ms. Marvel to what many believe will be the McU's take on the Young Avengers. However, if scooper @MyTimeToShineH is to be believed, the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star will suit up as Kate again in Hawkeye season 2.

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is one of the fan-favorite characters in the MCU his last live-action appearance was in ‘Hawkeye’ show although he did recently take on the role of a voice actor in ‘What If…?’ Season 2 Episode ‘What If…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas.’
Now Disney+ shows don’t usually get a second season, with the exception of ‘Loki,’ in which case the second season was even better than the first one, but it seems that yet another MCU show will be getting a second season, the one and only ‘Hawkeye.’
According to MyTimeToShineHello, ‘Hawkeye’ will be back with season 2, Clint’s brother, Barney, is set to take on a significant role, and the season will draw inspiration from The Raid, trapping Kate and Clint in a single location.

Jeremy Renner’s portrayal of Hawkeye has garnered a significant fan following within the MCU. While his last live-action appearance was in the ‘Hawkeye’ series, he recently lent his voice to ‘What If…?’ Season 2 Episode ‘What If…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas.’
Typically, Disney+ shows don’t receive second seasons, except for ‘Loki,’ which saw its second season surpass the first. However, it appears that another MCU show will join the ranks of those receiving a second season: ‘Hawkeye.’
Reportedly, ‘Hawkeye’ is set to return for a second season, with Clint’s brother, Barney, poised to play a pivotal role. Drawing inspiration from The Raid, the season will confine Kate and Clint to a single location.

Jeremy Renner’s debut as Hawkeye in the MCU timeline began when he first appeared as Clint Barton in a brief role in 2011’s Thor. Thereafter, becoming a member of the Avengers, Hawkeye appeared in a bunch of Marvel movies. Remaining one of the three original Avengers in the MCU after Endgame, besides Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Renner went on to lead his own MCU project as Clint Barton.

More than a year ago, the star of several MCU movies including his own standalone show, Jeremy Renner, better known to fans as Hawkeye was involved in a terrifying and life-threatening accident.
On January 1, 2023, he was hospitalized following a severe accident at home involving his snowplow, resulting in blunt chest trauma and 30 broken bones. The snowplow, weighing 14,330 pounds, ran over him. He was airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center, underwent surgery, and remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit. On January 17, he was discharged and returned home. Ten weeks later, he started walking with a cane, and doctors attributed his survival to his health and fitness.
Luckily Renner made a full recovery as it seems, recently, he stated that he feels strong enough to return to the MCU and feels extremely grateful to his co-stars and fans for unending support that gave him enough mental strength to preserve.

It was on New Year's Day in 2023 that Hawkeye's Jeremy Renner was crushed by a snowplow while attempting to save his nephew. However, just over a year after he sustained life-threatening injuries, the actor returned to work in February to shoot Mayor of Kingstown season 3.
To recap, Renner jumped onto the rolling snowplow when he noticed it sliding towards his nephew and was pulled underneath and crushed. Sustaining more than 30 broken bones, he underwent emergency surgery to save his life and spent the vast majority of 2023 recovering.
Talking to The Direct, Renner's Mayor of Kingstown co-star Michael Beach (Dead Boy Detectives) claimed the MCU vet "actually died" following the incident.
"Jeremy [Renner] is a war horse, man. I mean that guy, you know, he broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn't know until he told me, and he's been coming back," the actor said. "And he says he wasn't sure how it would be.

There are very few things in life that bring a person the utmost joy while delivering a sense of purpose at the same time. The Marvel Cinematic Universe tapped into that sense of purpose and Avengers: Endgame was its culmination. With billions of fans screaming, hollering, hooting, and wailing, the 22nd film in the MCU was a phenomenon worth its weight in tears, an event worth living through, and a tale worth retelling for generations to come.

Jeremy Renner has been making a name in the industry since the beginning of his career. But it wasn’t until he made his MCU debut with Thor (2011) as Hawkeye, that the actor became a household name. His character of the bow-and-arrow-wielding superhero became a fan-favorite because of his witty quips and sarcastic remarks, which is very in-tune with Renner’s own personality.

Outside of his popularity in the MCU, Jeremy Renner has been a part of some excellent character-driven films that showed his range as an actor. He first gained significant praise early in his career playing serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the 2002 indie film Dahmer. He received further recognition for his incredible performances in The Town and The Hurt Locker.

Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Gwen Stacy in the acclaimed Spider-Verse movies, will star opposite Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler’s untitled supernatural thriller being made by Warner Bros. Pictures.
The buzzy project, the object of a high-profile bidding war in January, heads before cameras later this month in New Orleans and has been furiously casting up. Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo and Jack O’Connell, among others, make up the heady call sheet.
Little is known about the project — and what is known has yet to be confirmed by either the studio or Coogler. For a lot of MCU fans, and Black Widow fans in particular, one of the most baffling choices the movies have made so far came in "Avengers: Endgame," when Black Widow/Natasha (Scarlett Johannsen) and Hawkeye/Clint (Jeremy Renner) tried to throw themselves off a cliff before the other could do it first. The cliff-jumping part made sense — one of them needed to die to save the world, and it was in character for both of them to sacrifice themself so the other could live. The questionable part was when Natasha successfully stopped Clint and flung herself to her death. It was a sad yet heroic end for her character, sure, but on a meta-level, wouldn't it make more sense for the movie to kill Clint?

The upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series is set to have the return of iconic foes Kingpin and Daredevil after their hugely successful run in Netflix’s Daredevil series. With the events of the previous series now being canon, plus the show’s placement in the MCU, fans are excited to witness how the characters will evolve and the type of conflict that will arise between them.
Vincent D’Onofrio made a huge impact on fans as Kingpin in the Daredevil series
After the events of Echo, it was clear that Kingpin would be running for the position of Mayor in New York. It seems like Wilson Fisk will have a whole new rise to power with his Mayoral position, as a new theory suggests that he will ensure that no kind of vigilantism exists with the employment of a lethal task force.

In 2023, Marvel Studios faced setbacks with their movies, a crucial year meant to launch the next saga and introduce Kang the Conqueror. Two out of three releases flopped, and ‘Secret Invasion’ was harshly criticized, deemed one of the worst MCU shows on Disney+.
Bob Iger acknowledged the need for quality over quantity amidst record-low profits. Consequently, the 2024 release lineup is modest, with ‘Deadpool 3’ likely the sole movie. Other projects like ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ faced delays and reshoots. The SAG-AFTRA strike further hampered production across the MCU.
Despite these challenges, ‘Young Avengers’ remains a promising project, transitioning from a Disney+ show to a movie now in active development. Production Weekly confirms Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito as producers, with a 2025 production start hinted in their report.

Kang Dynasty Can Correct Endgame’s Greatest Mistake That’s Been Dogging the MCU Avengers Since Years
In a universe packed with superheroes, each with their own unique abilities and strengths, the challenge of effectively showcasing them all in epic battles has become a formidable task for the studio. The superhero ensemble of Avengers, which originated in the 2012 film with just six members, has undergone continuous expansion as new heroes join the fray. And by the events of Endgame, it extended to include several more superheroes, including Ant-Man and Spider-Man, along with teams like the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Avengers: Endgame
Although the superhero ensemble against the MCU villain Thanos has been a treat for the fans worldwide, it has also led to questions, regarding the intricate balance of characters during these monumental battle sequences. As the superhero cinematic universe presses forward for future ensembles in movies like The Kang Dynasty, the studio could potentially avoid the longstanding issue with the Endgame battle sequence.

Jeremy Renner, a beloved character in the MCU as Hawkeye, last appeared in live-action in the ‘Hawkeye’ show. Despite his recent role as a voice actor in ‘What If…?’ Season 2 Episode ‘What If…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas,’ concerns about his physical health have persisted for almost a year.
On January 1, 2023, Renner faced a severe accident at home involving his snowplow, leading to blunt chest trauma and 30 broken bones. Weighing 14,330 pounds, the snowplow ran over him, necessitating his airlift to Renown Regional Medical Center. After undergoing surgery, he remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit. Fortunately, by January 17, he was discharged and back home. Ten weeks later, Renner began walking with a cane, with doctors crediting his survival to his robust health and fitness.

When Jeremy Renner Felt Like An Extra While Doing The Avengers ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
The Avengers is one of the biggest comic book movies, which assembled several Marvel superheroes in one movie, allegedly for the first time in the history of cinema. It had an ensemble cast, and it is natural for someone to be clueless in such a big crowd. Jeremy Renner once, in an interview, revealed he felt lost while doing the Joss Whedon-helmed MCU movie. Renner is known for playing the character of Hawkeye, aka Clint Barton, in the blockbuster franchise.
Renner made his MCU debut in 2011 in Chris Hemsworth led Thor. In the 2012 movie, Renner’s character was full-fledgedly introduced, and we also got a glimpse of Clint and Natasha’s heartwarming friendship. It continued through several films until Avengers: Endgame. Jeremy initially hated his character and did several things to get out of it.

Before Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez fell down the rabbit hole with Vincent D'onofrio's Kingpin, Echo first experienced the tragic loss of her dad.
Cox's character was first introduced as a villain to audiences when she appeared against Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop in the hit Hawkeye series.
Most uniquely, she happens to be of indigenous background while also being deaf and an amputee—resulting in a truly unique addition to the McU's larger-than-life roster. Ahead of her streaming series, Echo, some might need a refresher on a few key points in Maya's history.

Since her debut in 1999’s Daredevil #9, written by David Mack and penciled by Joe Quesada, Echo has gone through many changes. Readers first met Echo as Maya Lopez, an unwitting pawn in the mind games the Kingpin Wilson Fisk played against Matt Murdock. Like Daredevil, Lopez uses her different abilities as a superpower, as her deafness makes her a more attentive observer, resulting in photographic reflexes.
Lopez initially used those abilities to become Echo, a hero with fighting skills on par with Daredevil or Bullseye. Later, she took the name Ronin, a mysterious ninja who fought alongside the Avengers. Most recently, Echo acquired the Phoenix Force and joined the Avengers as Thunderbird.
Next year, Echo makes her most audacious move yet, becoming the main character in a live-action Disney+ series. Played by the Menominee and Mohican actor Alaqua Cox, who is deaf like her character, Echo first emerged in the MCU during Hawkeye season one.

Back in 2005, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman put a superhero twist on the idea of zombie outbreaks with the five issue limited series Marvel Zombies. That series became incredibly popular and has gotten a ton of sequels and spin-offs over the years. Warning: Major Spoilers Ahead For The End Of “The Marvels”

We can admit it now. The Marvels bombed.
Marvel has had some misfires before, but they usually happened only on the critical end. Audiences still rushed to see panned flicks like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Thor: Love & Thunder. But with The Marvels, audiences and critics came together to express their dissatisfaction. No one thing explains the problems. Like its predecessor Captain Marvel, bad faith reviews flooded the internet with people mad about lady superheroes, but numerous, and legitimate, other culprits led to the downfall: from superhero fatigue to a nonsense story combined with obnoxious editing, to separation from the larger shared universe.
In short, The Marvels comes at a key point in the MCU experiment, one whose failures and successes illuminate the way forward for the company. But rest assured, there is a way forward, and we have a few of our own silly ideas about how to navigate that.

‘The Marvels’ looks like it is the latest Marvel Studios box-office bomb. The movie has broken an unflattering record, opening with $110 million globally, making it the lowest opening in the MCU to date. Various combinations of factors affected the success of the movie. The reception was mostly mixed, meaning that even among the critics, the view on whether the movie was good or not in the first place was vastly polarizing. Many fans now outright state that the effects of superhero fatigue are to blame and the fact that writing quality has decreased severely from MCU’s golden days.
Nevertheless, the 33rd movie in the MCU did a lot to set up the future of the MCU. Monica Rambeau ends in what viewers strongly assume to be Earth-838, the Universe that Scarlet Witch also visited and brought chaos to it. The presence of Beast opens up a way for X-Men integration into the MCU,...

If you’ve kept tabs on the conversation surrounding The Marvels, then you’ve likely noticed that Iman Vellani’s Kamala “Ms. Marvel” Khan is unanimously considered to be the scene-stealer of Nia DaCosta’s superhero team-up pic. Vellani picked up where she last left off on her Ms. Marvel Disney+ series, which is also generally regarded as one of Marvel Studios’ best outings on the streamer. Much of Kamala’s journey parallels Vellani’s own MCU experience, as both went from leading typical teenage lives to becoming superheroes overnight.
In The Marvels, Kamala can’t get over the fact that she’s fighting alongside her idol, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), but along the way, she recognizes Carol’s flaws and learns a valuable lesson that Vellani has also learned during her MCU tenure.
“She’s not going to put people on a pedestal as much [moving forward]. Kamala and...

The Young Avengers form a superhero squad in Marvel Comics, bringing together emerging heroes to fill the void left by the original Avengers. While grappling with threats beyond their years, the Young Avengers navigate adolescence, striving to forge their identities as heroes.

After the conclusion of the main plot, Kamala Khan, having received intel from Fury on superpowered individuals, actively recruits them for the Young Avengers, expressing her intent to form and maintain a team with youthful members, though not explicitly stated.
