Primavera Sound has announced the complete lineup for its 2013 festival, which takes place from May 22-26 in Parc Del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain.

Lakeshore Records will be releasing a soundtrack album for the indie drama Sympathy for Delicious. The album includes the film’s score by the Canadian indie rock band The Besnard Lakes, as well as several songs by the fictional band in the movie Burnt the Diphthongs feat. Cedric Bixler, Orlando Bloom, DJ Disk, Juliette Lewis, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks. Other artists featured on the album are Do Make Say Think, The Kills and The Bee Gees. The album will be released on June 7, 2011 and is now available to pre-order on Amazon. Sympathy for Delicious is actor Mark Ruffalo’s directing debut and stars himself, Christopher Thornton, Juliette Lewis, Orlando Bloom, Laura Linney and Noah Emmerich. The film centers on a paralyzed DJ struggling to survive in his wheelchair on the streets of L.A. The movie opened earlier this month in select cities and is now available on VOD.

For nearly twenty years Hot Docs has showcased the best in documentary film from around the world, and 2011 is no different. Featuring over 200 films in total, picking which films are worth seeing is a tall order for even the most seasoned fest-vet.

Canadian indie-pic "Daydream Nation" starring Kat Dennings, Reece Thompson ("Ceremony"), Andie MacDowell and Josh Lucas looks... well, Ok. It looks "Juno"-esque for lack of a better way to put it and that's either a plus or a minus, depending on who you are. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, and we suppose we're curious to see how it actually turned out as we missed it during the festival.
