James Card is an award-winning screenwriter, director and actor, known for

He won Best Screenplay for a Short at Portsmouth International Film Festival for
For My Next Trick (2015), which was also nominated for Best British Film. His films have screened at festivals all over the world, including HollyShorts Film Festival, Balinale, Chicago Horror Film Festival, and Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival.
James recently completed work as writer-director on his debut feature film
Finally Nearly Getting There (2023), a fully improvised comedy drama road movie, featuring regular collaborators
Brooks Livermore and
