It always seems like quite the struggle to get every third film in the James Bond franchise underway. After the lukewarm reception of 2008’s Quantum of Solace, the production of Skyfall was suspended for a while due to MGM’s own financial issues in 2010, and now on the heels of another lukewarm film in Spectre, it seems pretty slow going for the project.
Of course, one of the chief questions from all of this has been the involvement of Daniel Craig. The dude made no attempt to hide his disdain at the time for playing the shallow MI6 agent. During the promotion circuit, he famously stated he would rather slash his wrists than do another Bond film. That was comment that was slightly taken out of context. Craig likely meant he didn’t want to go immediately from one film to the next, and that he was and in later interviews,...

With the next film in the James Bond franchise set to be the 25th outing, there’s a certain pressure on the producers to deliver an unforgettable adventure. The series has had its ups and downs over the years, to be sure, but for such a milestone like this one, they really need to hit it out of the park. Unfortunately for them, however, everything seems to be very much up in the air at the moment.
Daniel Craig hasn’t officially departed the franchise, but he’s also not terribly keen on returning. Sam Mendes, meanwhile, has also said that he probably won’t be coming back for more. As such, the rumor mill has been piping hot with names who could possibly replace those two and one actor who keeps popping up again and again to step in for Craig is Tom Hardy. Alongside Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston,...

A little over ten years ago a decision had to be made about who would take over for Pierce Brosnan in the role of James Bond with the final list coming down to three names - Daniel Craig, Sam Worthington and Henry Cavill.
It was a role Craig ultimately won, but future Superman Cavill came close - his young age at the time reportedly suggested as being the main reason he didn't get the gig.
Now though, he's the perfect age and with talk that Craig may leave the role, could he be a potential candidate again? The actor appeared on BBC's "The Graham Norton Show" (via Et this weekend, he was asked if he would consider taking over the iconic role should his schedule allow it. He responded:
"I'm very busy with the Superman stuff, but if there were any windows and they wanted me to do that kind of role,...

Even before the release of the most recent James Bond movie, Spectre, there was chatter that Daniel Craig may have had his fill of playing the famous spy. While some have suspected that Craig may be willing to return to the role after enough time away, one source has implied that the decision to walk away has already been made. Actor Mark Strong has said that his friend is likely done with the franchise. Mark Strong was speaking with The Short List as part of the promotion for his new movie The Brothers Grimsby where he plays against his normal type, as something of a secret agent himself. Strong is best known for playing the villain, which led to a conversation about possibly playing a Bond villain one day. It was at this point that the actor may have let the cat out of the bag. Do you know what,...

The search for Craig Strickland continues. Over the weekend, his wife Helen Strickland took to Instagram with updates on the ongoing efforts to locate the 29-year-old country star. "We are so thankful for the 4 State Search and Rescue team who have volunteered their services to help the Oklahoma State Police," Helen wrote in part on Saturday, nearly a week since he was reported missing on Dec. 27. She added, "We are also blessed to have the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, McLean County Ema (Il) and the Cottleville Fire Dept (Mo) working as one combined effort. They have all brought with them so...
