AMC Networks’ business unit has slated the film for release in theaters and on demand on February 3rd.
A Lot of Nothing centers around James (Noel) and Vanessa (Coleman), who seem to be the perfect couple — happily married, successful, and comfortable. In a state of shock, and with opposing viewpoints on how to address the issue, they embark on a highly combustible journey to ‘do something’ about it.

Chilean director Domingo Sotomayor is re-teaming with Sao Paulo-based Rt Features to make her third feature, “Niebla.”
CAA Media Finance arranged the financing and will represent sales rights. The cruise ship-set drama is currently in development and set to shoot in 2022.
Rt Features previously co-produced Sotomayor’s second feature, “Too Late to Die Young,” which saw her become the first woman to win a best director Leopard at Switzerland’s Locarno Festival.
Written by Sotomayor, “Niebla” reprises a scenario sketched in hugely different contexts in “Thursday Till Sunday” and “Too Late to Die Young” of characters on the brink of self-awareness at critical junctures in their lives.
Here, however, the protagonist is an adult, not the children of “Too Late to Die Young” nor the lovelorn adolescent of “Too Late,” and most seem in denial.

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are teaming up to play fictional and animated versions of themselves in a new Quibi comedy series called “Futha Mucka.”
The cartoon will follow the pair after a “minor mishap” causes Jackson to become Reynolds’ “primary caregiver” and then “s— gets weird.”
Here is the show’s actual (not-super-straightforward) logline from Quibi:
Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds love each other. More accurately, Ryan loves Sam. When asked for comment on his feelings for Ryan, Sam said “tell them I couldn’t be reached for comment.” When a minor mishap causes Sam to become Ryan’s primary caregiver, sh*t gets weird. Ryan is delighted to spend all of his time with Sam. Sam couldn’t be reached for comment.

Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds are back at it again.
The duo, who of course teamed up for “The Hitman’s Bodyguard,” are set to star in an animated series at Quibi with a title that seems tailor-made for Jackson’s famously expletive-laden vocabulary.
“Futha Mucka” will see Jackson play Reynold’s primary caregiver. Here’s the rather odd logline that Quibi provided for the series: Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds love each other. Netflix has picked up Bonding, the seven-episode short-form dark comedy series from Rightor Doyle (Barry). Originally announced as blackpills original to run on the digital platform, the series starring Zoe Levin (Palo Alto) and Brendan Scannell (Heathers) will instead be distributed by Netflix next year as a global original series.
Filmed on location in New York last fall with backspills and Anonymous Content producing, Bonding had its premiere at Outfest this past summer and was screened at other festivals. According to sources, blackpills had an option to put it on their platform but instead producers brought it to Netflix, which bought the series fully produced and there will be no editing on it.
