American Horror Story Double Feature premieres in a little over a week with a double-episode premiere.
Thankfully, we won't have to wait until August 25 to lay eyes on the theme of the first half of the season.
FX on Friday unveiled the full-length trailer for the "Red Tide," the first of two horror stories set to comprise Double Feature.
One thing that's immediately clear from the trailer is that the casting is on point.
We have so many returning faces, including
Sarah Paulson, Evan Peter,s Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Macaulay Culkin, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Denis O'Hare, Matt Bomer, Chad Michaels, Spencer Novich, and V Nixie.

American Horror Story is back in just two weeks!
The series, which had to sit all of 2020 out due to the pandemic, returns with a two-episode premiere that is sure to usher in a refresh for the franchise.
In true AHS fashion, plot details have been kept under wraps -- until now.
"A struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter," reads the logline for the premiere.
"Once they're settled in, the town's true residents begin to make themselves known," it concludes.
Um, what?
This suggests the writer and his family will find themselves in an unimaginable situation within this new town.
Could everyone in the town be villains? It sure would make things scarier, we guess.
"A quick fix for Harry's writer's block has unexpected side effects," reads the synopsis for the second half of the premiere, which adds:

Ryan Murphy has finally revealed the title and theme for “American Horror Story” Season 10. The “AHS” mastermind said Friday that the 10th season of his FX anthology series will be called “Double Feature.”
“Two horrifying stories… one season,” the captions in Murphy’s Instagram video revealing the titled said. “One by the sea… One by the sand. More to come…”
The unveiling of Season 10’s “AHS: Double Feature” title comes after months of teasing hints from Murphy, which is his typical style of revealing each seasons’ theme. However, this process has been much more drawn out for Season 10 thanks to the coronavirus.
Filming on “AHS” Season 10 began last October, following FX’s announcement earlier this year that this installment of Murphy’s anthology horror series, which was originally going to be filmed over the summer, had been pushed to 2021 due to pandemic-forced delays to the show’s production timeline.

The long wait for American Horror Story Season 10 has been tough, but it is poised to be a complete 180 from any installment to date.
Finn Wittrock, who has appeared on Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoake, and 1984 is opening up about the new season.
The actor spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the series, which is currently shooting in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
"I think this is okay to say – I think the suspense in this and the tight, constrained nature of the story is different than other seasons," he explained.
"I was really interested in trying to mount the pressure in the right way, if that makes sense."
He added that it will be "different in tone than a lot of the [others]."
"What's fun about this show is that no two things are ever the same," he added.
"It's like, 'Do you wanna come in and do this single episode or do you wanna...

Ryan Murphy still won’t tell us the title for “American Horror Story” Season 10 — but he thinks you should now be able to guess it based on the casting announcement he made Wednesday.
“Congrats to @SpencerNovich who is joining the cast of this season’s American Horror Story,” the “AHS” creator tweeted, along with a video featuring Spencer Novich’s special skills. “This is the audition that got him the job. Guess the title yet? #AHS10 …”
In the video below, you’ll see Novich, an actor and contortionist, transform his body for the camera using some powerfully grotesque moves. He says one line: “I’m going to kill you.”
Yikes.
Ok, so we still don’t actually have any idea what the title for “AHS” Season 10 could be after watching this video, which is the latest piece of the puzzle Murphy has offered us.
