"At this time I'm asking to leave 'The Biggest Loser' for personal reasons."
With the premiere of 'The Voice' truncating 'Loser' to a single hour this week and next, I was half-expecting to get a half-episode from the producers. After all, there were only seven contestants left in the game coming into this episode.
Instead, we packed "Favorites Week" into a single hour, which meant way less time with the trainers. But their absence was made up by the inclusion of past contestants Sam Poueu, Ali Vincent and Tara Costa. One of them even competed in this week's challenge against the contestants.
But the big shocker of the week came when the above quote was uttered at the Weigh-In. Who spoke it and whether or not they went through with it may change everything you thought about how the game would progress from here.

According to Us Weekly, Ramona Singer punched a producer last week when she was filming a scene for 'The Real Housewives of New York City' with costars Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan.
It's unclear what set off the star, but a source told Us, "She was furious and felt like the producers were ganging up on her. She literally lost her mind." Another observer told the magazine, "No one is really sure what exactly spurred her craziness. But she got herself worked up over filming this scene and one thing led to another, and she punched the producer. Literally."
A Bravo spokesperson would not comment on the story.

Tuesday night, "The Biggest Loser" announced the final four: Ashley Johnston, Daris George, Koli Palu and Michael Ventrella, which meant that 24-year-old SunShine Hampton lost her spot on the ranch when she fell below the red line and was immediately sent packing. "It is a bummer not to make the final four," she tells Et, "but that whole week was a big week of reflection for me, seeing that I can do it at home. I can go for the at-home prize, but I have already won the big prize. I would take my health over $100,000 or $250,000 any day. I went with peace. I knew that I was going to be fine." SunShine, who with her father O'Neal Hampton has had a tricky journey on this season's "The Biggest Loser" -- she and her dad were kicked off the ranch the first day and were only able to earn their...

Despite winning various Biggest Loser competitions and immunity challenges, Sam Poueu found it harder to avoid elimination as he went from 372 to 246 pounds. In Week 16, the 23-year-old Samoan only lost 2 pounds and was sent home, but remarked that he was the first contestant in the show's history to reach his goal weight on campus.

Sam Poueu is the first "The Biggest Loser" player to reach his goal weight on the ranch, so Tuesday night when he only lost two pounds, it wasn't a surprise. He has been in the bottom two before because he has so little weight left to lose, but previously, he was saved. When the vote was tallied on Tuesday's episode, two players voted to send Sam home; two voted to send home Michael Ventrella. "The Biggest Loser" rules state that when there is a tie, the player with the lowest percentage of weight loss goes home and that was Sam. "I was surprised," he says. "I thought, 'We are at six right now. Only four compete for the grand prize. If Mike makes it into the final four, he has a huge chance of winning the entire thing. You think of past contestants winning at 50 percent or more of total body weight lost.

Sam Poueu has become the latest contestant to be eliminated from The Biggest Loser. The 24-year-old youth football coach and security guard from Rohnert Park, CA, - who entered the show with cousin Koli - was sent home after falling below the yellow line with Daris during last night's weigh-in. He had lost 2lbs, which was the lowest amount of weight loss this week. Last night's episode saw the remaining contestants - Sam, Koli, Ashley, Daris, Mike and Sunshine - undergoing the traditional Biggest Loser makeover. They were each given $$1,000 by Ali to buy new clothes, while celebrity stylist Jonathan Anti was drafted in to cut their hair. Their new looks were unveiled later in the day, before they were entertained by a special performance from Ashanti. This week's challenge saw the (more)...

"The Biggest Loser" returns tonight as the countdown to the May 25 finale continues. But the show has almost become as famous for the romances that are gained as it is for the contestants' weight loss. This season's romance blossomed between Stephanie Anderson and Sam Poueu. Just last season, it was Daniel Wright and Rebecca Meyer, and who can forget the moment last December when Antoine Dove dropped down on one knee and proposed to Alexandra White on the finale? Those are just the three most recent love stories. The show already has two couples who married after meeting at the ranch: Suzy and Matt Hoover from season two and Amy and Marty Wolff from season three. "When people go through extraordinary circumstances together, it bonds them and it unites them," "The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels tells Et. "These are people, by the way, who have felt ashamed and have...

The last two weeks on "The Biggest Loser," Andrea Hough has pulled low numbers at the weigh-ins, even though she has worked so hard even the trainers admitted they didn't understand why she hadn't done better. It was just unfortunate for her that this week, she fell below the yellow line with Sam Poueu, one of the more popular contestants on the ranch. "As soon as I knew that Sam was below the line with me, I had an idea that I would be the one going home," Andrea says. "Not because of any hard feelings. Sam doesn't have a lot of weight to lose, so he is not a threat, but he is a huge encourager, so he is probably a good person to keep around when it comes to the game." Even Sunshine Hampton, who was friends with Andrea, voted against her, but the 24-year-old executive assistant from Ann Arbor,...

Andrea Hough has become the latest contestant to be eliminated from The Biggest Loser. The 24-year-old executive assistant, who entered the show with her dad Darrell, was voted off the ranch in last night's episode after falling below the yellow line with Sam Poueu. Hough had lost 3lbs this week, while Poueu's weight remained unchanged. This week's episode opened with a challenge from Total cereal, where the players had to balance quarters on a tray. The last person standing would win $$10 for every quarter on their tray. Michael eventually triumphed, winning $$1,000, but he then had his winnings doubled by Total because he gave 100%. Sunshine was also awarded a prize for her effort. In the second challenge, the contestants had to sort through a pile of keys to find the two sets that would start two brand new Mazdas situated at the top of a hill. Andrea (more)...

Shocking but true…Stephanie and co-star Sam Poueu fell in love on TV, but to give their romance a shot producers completely edited their romance off the show!
Stephanie Anderson may have lost her spot on The Biggest Loser: Couples March 30, but the latest castoff says that being given a shot at love has made her the happiest she’s even been in her life. Sounds like a winner to us!
“Sam and I formed a really great friendship that fell into ‘like,’ that fell into love,” the 29-year-old radio executive from West Hollywood, Calif. told reporters March 31, gushing about her first ever relationship with fellow contestant Sam Poueu, a 24-year-old football coach from Rohnert Park, Calif.
Although the love birds fell for each other almost immediately upon meeting at the ranch in Sept., producers edited their romance completely off the show — which is something we would have loved to witness!

Sherry Johnston was the last mother standing when she got voted off of "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesday night's show. And as the last mom, she took some of the other contestants under her wing, including Stephanie Anderson, whose own mother was voted out on week two. Since her mom left, Stephanie has begun a romance with Sam Poueu, and Sherry, who had grown close to Stephanie and Patti when they shared a suite of rooms at the ranch, has given her some advice. "When Stephanie's mom Patti went home in week two, I started seeing the sparks then. As pink mom, I took her aside and said, 'You know, Steph, I just want you to take this slow. I don't want you to get into a relationship and lose focus of why you are really here. This is about you. As your fill-in mom, I want to make sure...
