The 11th annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, known as The Warburton, will not be a golf tournament for the first time since it began a decade ago in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Warburton will instead feature its signature music events and popular auction online to raise awareness and support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Historically, approximately 75 stars, songwriters and rock legends join hundreds of guests for an annual weekend of golf and sold-out, one-of-a-kind music events benefiting St. Jude. This year, Songwriters Night will stream online on at 6 p.m. Pt / 9 p.m. Et on Tuesday, April 20, and The Rheneypalooza Jam will stream online at 6 p.m. Pt / 9 p.m. Et on Wednesday, April 21 via thewarburton.krglive.com. The country music community is mourning the unexpected loss of Daryle Singletary.
Singletary died on Monday morning at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, SiriusXM’s The Highway confirmed. He was 46.
The cause of death for the Georgia native, whose hits included “I Let Her Lie” and “Amen Kind of Love,” has not been identified.
Singletary played a concert on Friday at The Rodeo Club in Dadeville, Alabama, according to TMZ.

Montgomery Gentry’s Troy Gentry was killed in a helicopter crash on Friday afternoon.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm that Troy Gentry, half of the popular country duo, Montgomery Gentry, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash which took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. today in Medford, New Jersey,” the band said in a statement on their Facebook page.
The 50-year-old country star was scheduled to perform with bandmate Eddie Montgomery at the Flying W Airport and Resort in Medford on Friday evening, and the concert was canceled immediately.
“Details of the crash are unknown,” the post continues.

Country Music Hall of Famer Don Williams has died after a short illness, his rep confirms to People. He was 78.
After beginning his career in Nashville in the late 1960s and signing a songwriting contact in the early 1970s, Williams made his chart debut with “The Shelter of Your Eyes” in 1973.
Over the course of his decades-long career, the so-called “Gentle Giant” of country music recorded hits like “Tulsa Time,” “Good Ole Boys Like Me” and “It Must Be Love.” Williams earned 17 No. 1 country hits throughout his career.

The event, which was held at the Mandalay Bay, was hosted by crooner Trace Adkins and Nascar driver Danica Patrick.
