There have been rumors that Todd and Julie Chrisley could have returned to reality television despite being in prison. The actuality of that was unlikely, but their kids could have returned to TV and shown the world their lives without their parents around anymore. However, that isn’t likely going to happen either.
Here is what the Chrisley family’s time on TV might have come to an end.

Exclusive: Maverick TV USA, the All3Media production company behind series including Netflix’s Barbeque Showdown and USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best, is the latest unscripted business to fall victim to market conditions.
All3Media is closing the U.S. business, which has been run for the last few years by Simon Knight.
Jeff Zucker’s RedBird Imi recently closed on its $1.45B takeover of the British production group, which has around 50 production labels including Squid Game: The Challenge producer Studio Lambert, Tinder Swindler producer Raw TV, Fleabag producer Two Brothers Pictures, Penny Dreadful producer Neal Street and natural history maker Silverback Films.
However, the Maverick news is unrelated to this takeover.
The move highlights the difficult circumstances for unscripted producers in the U.S. Cable networks are no longer ordering the same volume of nonscripted projects that they used to and it’s difficult to get a series greenlit at the broadcast networks.

E! is getting into the original TV movie business.
The NBCUniversal cabler has announced plans to begin programming original romantic comedy films beginning in 2023. The network has commissioned six films to start, though further details about the films were not readily available.
The move into made-for-tv movies at the network comes amid shifting tides in the world of cable and linear television channels. NBCUniversal and other legacy media companies are shifting considerable resources to their streaming efforts, leaving observers wondering what the future of traditional networks like E! will be. Hallmark and Lifetime have both found considerable success with their own slates of original films over the years. Paramount Network was also set to become the home of weekly original films, though Paramount eventually abandoned those plans.

When it comes to disciplining children, most parents don’t have the luxury of throwing their son’s laptop into the swimming pool for looking up undesirable websites, or deciding which “modest” designer frock their daughter will wear to her Sweet 16 birthday party. Yet it’s those kinds of extreme parenting techniques that helped put patriarch Todd Chrisley on the map with “Chrisley Knows Best” four years ago, and continues to endear the family to audiences today, 100 episodes in.
“There were nine offers on the table following the original sizzle reel, and we have been very blessed to have the relationship we have with USA network and with [NBC Universal Cable chairman] Bonnie Hammer, who made a commitment to me from day one,” says Chrisley. “We’ve had various showrunners that have wanted to put their twist on things, and we’ve always stood our ground. What’s going on...
