We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about dozens of shows including Midnight Mass, La Brea, Stargirl and Grey’s Anatomy!

Seeing as Starz's Power Book III: Raising Kanan was renewed for a season two ahead of its premiere, we think it's safe to say that expectations for the show were already high. Partially inspired by executive producer 50 Cent's childhood, the series follows 15-year-old Kanan Stark's life in 1991 Queens, NY. We also get to see how he becomes Ghost's rival and the antagonist of Power, all the while discovering what it is that made him join in on the family business. The recurring cast includes Quincy Brown as Crown Camacho, Ade Chike Torbert as Scrappy, Natalee Linez as Jessica Figueroa, and Annabelle Zasowski as Nicole Bingham. From Mekai Curtis as the perfect younger version of the 50 Cent character to several Broadway stars, including Patina Miller and Hailey Kilgore, you can see the main cast ahead.

Among the new series screening at South by Southwest is “David Makes Man,” presenting its first episode before a bow on Own this August. While the episode represents only a glimpse of the show to come, it’s promising — both for Own and for the South by Southwest confab — that this show is, from its first moments, quite so lived-in and credible. It joins, on Oprah Winfrey’s dedicated network, a suite of accomplished dramas including “Queen Sugar”; at the Austin festival, it’s a welcome step outside pure genre, and into a world in which the concerns of young black boys are paramount.

'So You Think You Can Dance' judge Mia Michaels is fighting back against charges of racism that have broken out on blogs since last week's elimination of AdéChiké Torbert (right). Specifically, critics have made remarks to the effect that she has it in for black male dancers.
"It's just ridiculous, honestly. I actually Twittered because there was so much negativity coming at me, because they think I was coming at him for really stupid reasons," she told PopEater's Stacy Jenel Smith. "I had to make clear that I as a judge, as a person, don't care what somebody looks like. I could care less what color their skin is, or how big they are, what their weight is. I look at their performance. I look at their integrity as an artist. I look at their technicality. I look strictly at that.

In a not-so-surprising elimination last night, AdéChiké Torbert was sent packing on So You Think You Can Dance. Although Torbert won’t be joining Kent Boyd, Lauren Froderman, and Robert Roldan in next week’s season finale, the dancer said he’s “super excited and ecstatic” about going on tour with his fellow season 7 dancers. Torbert called the EW offices today to talk about his elimination and experience on the show.
Entertainment Weekly: How are you feeling after last night’s elimination?
ADÉCHIKÉ Torbert: I’m in pretty good spirits. My brothers are out here, so they are helping...

One thing was clear last night after So You Think You Can Dance's semifinal: There is no love lost between judge Mia Michaels and dancer AdéChiké Torbert. When it came to AdéChiké's elimination, Mia said, "America got it right." Did the other judges agree? How does AdéChiké feel about Mia? Find out what they told us backstage after the show... "I was kind of surprised," Mia said, "because his voting has been really high...but I think America got it right. I'm very happy with the three that are in there. I love them all for different reasons and I would be happy if any of those three won. AdéChiké as a dancer has a lot to work on."...

Lauren Froderman is our pick to win So You Think You Can Dance.
No offense to the three guys left standing, or to the millions of Kent Boyd fans who may bombard us with hate mail, but we've said it from the very beginning.
It was no surprise, and there was no shortage of adulation, when Lauren earned a spot in the Sytycd finals last night. She'll be in the top three next week!
All summer, she's shown she's got both the skill and personality to compete with Kent, who was obviously advancing to the finals as well. That left one spot.
Robert Roldan or AdéChiké Torbert. Who would it be? Going into the night, and based on the previous night's performances, we could see it going either way.
Read on to see who will join Lauren and Kent ...
It's Robert!
Called "the prince of this season" by Mia, even...

(S07E21) For the first time all season, the 'So You Think You Can Dance' judges were totally powerless. According to Cat Deeley, whoever made it into next week's finale came down to the ten million votes America cast after last night's strong performance show. Which of our finalists made it through?
Did Lauren keep her journey alive as the last woman standing? Was AdéChiké's consistent strength and physical prowess enough to muscle a way into the finale? Did Robert's surprise elevation out of the bottom three last week mean he could stay out of danger again? Did all those screaming fans for Kent in the audience translate to enough numbers to push him into the finale? Well, I'm certainly not going to say now, and neither did Cat at the top of the hour.
We had guest musical performances by Janelle Monae and Flo Rida,...

As if the judges hadn't hailed her enough, Adam Shankman even admitted to praying last night for Lauren Froderman to make the So You Think You Can Dance finale. So, is anyone surprised to learn that the 18-year-old from Phoenix is indeed a season-seven finalist? Lauren absolutely deserved to be there, of course, having held her own as the only girl (who didn't get injured) with both the skill and personality to stand out in this boys' club. That left three guys and two spots. Or one spot, really, when you consider how the judges have been predicting an ultimate victory for Kent Boyd, 18, for weeks. And sure enough, it came down to Robert Roldan and AdéChiké Torbert...

Yes, it's late, but this TV news is free of fat, carbs and calories. No harm in indulging.
Mia Michaels opened up about the current season of "So You Think You Can Dance," which crowns its winner next week, and she thinks its between Kent and Lauren -- or pretty much anyone other than Adéchiké. [E Online]
Season 4 of AMC's "Breaking Bad" won't hit the tube until July 2011, which means more than a year will have passed since the Season 3 finale -- and, more importantly, the series will miss eligibility for any Emmy nominations for 2011. [Deadline]
"Breakthrough with Tony Robbins" just isn't doing it for NBC. The severely ratings-challenged series only managed 2.8 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in key demos on its second outing, insuring it would be its last. After just two episodes, it's been canceled in favor of repeats of "Minute to Win It." [Live Feed]

He’s been labeled a freakish dancer and an androgynous dancer, but the day after being eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance, Billy Bell, 20, seemed to simply be a satisfied dancer. Surprisingly chipper, the contemporary dancer called up EW to chat about his injury, Nigel’s criticism of his decision to sit out, and the routine he’s hoping to reprise on tour. (You’d be surprised!)
Entertainment Weekly: How are you feeling?
Billy Bell: Yeah. I think Jose and I both felt kind of — I guess “relieved” isn’t the best word. It wasn’t a sad experience.

America is going to get a chance to catch up with Billy Bell after all. The often-in-danger contemporary phenom did not become the latest So You Think You Can Dance casualty Thursday despite sitting out last night's performance show, thereby stopping the string of competition-ending injuries at two. Wait a second, this means that the solos actually mattered tonight!? Not exactly. Lauren Froderman, Kent Boyd and Adéchiké Torbert, none of whom have ever been in the bottom three, moved right along. Then, after Robert Roldan and Jose Ruiz made return trips to the danger zone alongside the automatically grounded Billy, Nigel Lythgoe and the rest of the dance police opted not to...

So You Think You Can Go a Whole Week Without an Injury?!
It's getting ridiculous. For the third consecutive week, an injury meant the field was down a body. Are the dancers perhaps being pushed too hard? Is it bad luck and nothing more?
Will it mean yet another results show with zero tension tonight?
Maybe, maybe not on that last point. Nigel seemed to suggest that Billy Bell, who hurt his knee during rehearsals, should be able to bounce back by next week. Alex Wong and Ashley Galvan were not so fortunate the previous two weeks, though. Who knows.
The five contestants who actually performed did three dances last night, performing with an All-Star, with another contestant, and by themselves. Here's a rundown:
Contestants and All-Stars
Lauren Froderman & Twitch (Hip-Hop): Guest panelist Kenny Ortega told Lauren after the routine, which featured her straddling Twitch, bronco-style, in a Wild West-themed bit,...

(S07E16) Once again, the recap title is a lie on 'So You Think You Can Dance,' as only five of the top six performed Wednesday night. This time it was Billy Bell who had to sit it out after suffering a knee injury.
Nigel Lythgoe told us that two doctors evaluated Billy's knee and left it up to him whether he felt well enough to dance. He didn't, so he's automatically in the Bottom Three. It's the third injury in as many weeks to take out a dancer: First Alex (who was in the audience) was tripped up by his Achilles heel, then Ashley had to leave because of a fractured rib. A frustrated Nigel joked, "We will join forces with Mark Burnett next year and do 'Survivor: The Dance-Off.'"

There was a reason we called him Alex Freaking Wong. This season, So You Think You Can Dance boasted a dancer who not only wowed us with his skills, but melted our hearts with his lovable personality. Sadly, Wong’s journey came to an end last night, when he revealed a lacerated Achilles tendon would keep him from continuing his journey on the Sytycd stage. Just hours after his elimination, a sad, but hopeful, Wong rang up EW to chat about the injury, whether he’s coming back next season, and, of course, that nickname.

Aw hell no, Emmy. Just one year ago, I gave you a slight slap on the wrist for neglecting to nominate Cat Deeley — the enthusiastic, gorgeous, dedicated host of So You Think You Can Dance — for Outstanding Reality Show Host. And now, today, I’m feeling the worst kind of déjà vu — and thinking maybe this time around you need a swift kick in the a–. Because, once again, you’ve somehow forgotten all about the statuesque presenter, instead opting to give another shot at the trophy to the likes of Ryan Seacrest and Heidi Klum. Really, Emmy? Seacrest and Heidi?...

(S07E12) We already know at least one dancer who'll be in the Bottom Three this week on 'So You Think You Can Dance': standout Alex Wong, who was injured during rehearsals.
New rules dictate that contestants who cannot dance are automatically put in the Bottom Three. While I have no doubt that fans would save Alex with their votes, whether he can continue on the show is definitely in question.
"If he can't appear next week, he is automatically out of the competition," a solemn Nigel Lythgoe announced, adding it would be heartbreaking if Alex, who's been killing it all season, had to be cut -- especially since he gave up his position at the Miami Ballet to be eligible. Asked if it hurt, Nigel related that Alex had told him, "Only in my heart."

After a truncated audition period and last Thursday's weird exhibition episode, So You Think You Can Dance got underway last night, its pairs competing for the first time.
Camera and audio issues aside, it was as good or better than we remember from previous years. The new format with the newcomers and All-Stars is intriguing as well.
Here's a breakdown of the Top 11 performances last night ...
Billy Bell & Lauren Gottlieb: Their Broadway bit by Tyce Diorio was alright, but the steps didn't really follow the beat; Billy stood out, but their chemistry was lacking.
That fact was noted by Nigel, as well. Adam even said Billy needs to focus on the intangibles, since the steps come so naturally. Mia was proud of him in the new genre.
Cristina Santana & Mark Kanemura: Sonya wanted a sexy, sensual jazz routine, and thanks in part to her all-star partner, Cristina...
