Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, one of the earliest superstars of professional wrestling, died Sunday. For fans of the sport in the 1980s, Snuka’s signature move, the “Superfly Splash” — a jump from the top rope of the ring onto a prone opponent — electrified audiences.
Snuka’s death was announced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on Sunday, which might have given some people pause, if only because the true extent of connections among professional wrestling’s clan of Polynesian and Samoan wrestlers is relatively unknown to the general public at large.

There’s a lot of talk over what the future holds for WWE Thursday Night Smackdown come January. Since the company moved away from the ‘Brand Extension’ idea, the show hasn’t really served much purpose other than to recap Monday Night Raw. Worse, at times Smackdown has felt completely unnecessary, acting as filler more than anything meaningful.
When the creative team try, Smackdown can be a worthwhile show. It seems the reset button will be pushed in the new year, when the broadcast moves to the USA Network.

It’s not exactly a surprise for anyone to find out that pro wrestling is a very dangerous sport. These performers put their health and their bodies on the line whenever they step foot inside a wrestling ring, and as wrestling fans, we all know that. Daniel Bryan is currently out of action with a neck injury. Bad News Barrett had to drop the Intercontinental Title because of a badly separated shoulder. Tamina Snuka is out with a torn ligament in her knee. It’s a part of the business we all know and hate. We just hope the “injury bug” isn’t too major at one time, affecting person after person after person, causing for major rewrites of angles and matches, sometimes on the fly.
However, beyond the torn Acl’s, the separated shoulders, the torn biceps, and the broken ankles, wrestling has also seen its fair share of downright unusual injuries.

Though they were few actual extreme rule stipulations at the 2014 Extreme Rules Pay Per View, there were certainly extremes when it came to the quality of the matches. Stuck right at the beginning of the no man’s land between Wrestlemania and SummerSlam that inevitably finds the WWE effectively presenting the PPV as the hangover after the big Mania blowout, Extreme Rules was an evening of highs and lows.
Starting with those lows, John Cena facing off against Bray Wyatt in a steel cage might have seemed the next logical step after their Mania lock up, and to be fair to WWE Creative they’d tried to pull out all the stops to build it up in the weeks prior to Extreme Rules, but the reality of the match was that it was dull. After trying numerous times to escape the cage, only to be thwarted by continuous interference by...

Extreme Rules Pre-show Match – WeeLC Match – Hornswoggle vs. El Torito (a DVD/Blu-ray Extra)
What the hell is a WeeLC match, you may ask. Well, I asked the same damn thing. Is it a match in which combatants can use chairs, ladders and urine to defeat their opponents? No, it isn’t, though that sure would have been a spectacle. The WeeLC match is WWE’s way of amusing itself with puns. This is a midget TLC match in which no holds are barred.

The WWE main roster is always changing, some wrestlers leave for whatever reason happens to cause their departure, some wrestlers move up the card because management wants to give them a push and some wrestlers move downwards, or stay still, sometimes merely because the creative team has a lack of ideas for their television character.
The last twelve months have been memorable and a lot has happened to the main WWE roster since June of 2013. So, let’s take a look at the main superstars who are on the main stage of WWE, rate them, and look at how their future in WWE looks at this moment.
The grading system is as follows:
A+ – Is/Should be one of the main faces of WWE. A true star.
A – Should be/Is in the main event scene and has the talent to stay there.
B – Should be being pushed as a future top contender.

There were lots of questions to be answered going in to this years Elimination Chamber, and in all honesty most of those questions were left unanswered as the Blu-ray ended and I ejected it from my player. The show itself turned out to be one of those WWE b-shows that ranged, at various times from poor, to mediocre, to good, to fantastic, so lets look at the actual results before talking about the show in more depth shall we?

We are a month removed from WrestleMania season, a time of the WWE year that is drenched with hype and prediction and potential. Heading into Extreme Rules, the card seems like it could be good and there is potential for some of the matches to really turn some heads. So let’s get into this review shall we?
The pre-show for Extreme Rules consisted of an “expert panel” featuring Josh Matthews, Booker T, Alex Riley and Sheamus and they discussed the upcoming event and the matches booked upon it. We then went to ringside for the pre-show match.

Extreme Rules 2014 was the first proper ‘special event’ of the new WWE era, a night in which the new generation of stars had their chance to shine, and in most cases, this proved to be what happened – Cesaro, Paige, Rusev, Bray Wyatt, The Shield and Daniel Bryan all proved successful. WWE is all about ‘in with the new’ and ‘out with the old’ right now, which made for an entertaining night, although this was hardly an event that we will still be talking about a year from now. Extreme Rules 2014 was solidly in the upper-mid region of event quality.
The opening match in New Jersey was Cesaro vs Rob Van Dam vs Jack Swagger. Previous to this, there had been a pre-show on the Network of Hornswoggle vs El Torito in a WeeLC match. As you would expect from a midget contest, it was ludicrous, made more so...

This Sunday night is the Extreme Rules pay-per-view so the past week has seen WWE on the “go-home” programming as their final chance to drum up interest in the event. Thanks to a big WrestleMania that featured the end of The Streak and the rise of Daniel Bryan and the new WWE Network, WWE has had the advantage of an increased number of eyes on the product.
The card is a triple header with a WrestleMania rematch leading the way as John Cena and Bray Wyatt clash inside a steel cage as Cena looks to overcome the mindgames of the cult leader. Co-headlining with it is a six man war between The Shield and the reunited Evolution and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is being defended by Daniel Bryan against his former tag team partner Kane.

WWE Extreme Rules is the first pay-per-view or “special event” after testing the waters with the WrestleMania XXX with WWE Network. Now, most cable providers aren’t even carrying the event, so it’ll be interesting to see how WWE handles this event. Certainly the urgency isn’t exactly the same as viewers through WWE Network are already locked into a monthly plan. Historically, Extreme Rules has always been one of the better shows throughout the year and the hope is that the trend is continued.
El Torito Vs. Hornswoggle (Pre-show ‘Weelc’ Match)
The play on the acronym “TLC” and turning it into “WeeLC” is just so absurd. With that said, this should be a very entertaining match regardless of how meaningless it is. The drama will unfold this weekend from New Jersey, with the main event set as Evolution Vs The Shield. The co-main events are John Cena vs Bray Wyatt (in a steel cage) and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan defending against Kane (in an Extreme Rules match).

On May 4 at Extreme Rules, Tamina Snuka will receive her latest opportunity to become Divas champion when she meets Paige in what should be a very physical, intense match between two of the hardest hitting women in World Wrestling Entertainment. Snuka has been one of the more underrated Divas in the division but her lack of natural charisma and management’s tendency to focus on the cast members of Total Divas has led to the second-generation star being stuck in the shadow of lesser-talented women. With the opportunity to shine on pay-per-view, she could conceivably earn the attention of fans who may not know how solid a worker she really is.
WWE history is full of highly talented women who have been overshadowed by the Divas deemed to be more marketable or sexier. Trish Stratus, Lita, Stacy Keibler, Torrie Wilson, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix are just a...

This week’s Raw broadcast was the “go-home” show prior to the next WWE pay-per-view, Extreme Rules. It’s been a fairly smooth road that we have traveled across to get to this point, with WWE seemingly having their creative feet on the ground and running immediately following Wrestlemania XXX. This is sometimes not the case in years past, and the past month leading into Extreme Rules has, for the most part, been well played.
WWE has a lot riding on this Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV. With a rematch of Bray Wyatt and John Cena, fans are looking for the payoff and closure to their story – and inside a steel cage is the best way to get that resolution. The new WWE Divas Champion Paige has garnered a lot of attention since winning the Divas Title from Aj Lee on the April 7th edition of Raw. Fans that are familiar with the Nxt brand know that she’s a really talented wrestler with a bright future while those that only knew her from Raw have quickly grown to appreciate how talented she is.
Now that she’s the Divas Champion, WWE has made the decision to strip her of the Women’s Championship in Nxt. A report from PWInsider notes that Nxt General Manager Jbl will strip Paige of her Nxt Women’s Title because she can’t hold that title and the WWE Divas Title at the same time. The segment will feature Paige initially refusing but finally agreeing. The segment was taped on Monday.

A lot of people have been talking about Benjamin Morris’ 538 piece, “Are Pro Wrestlers Dying at an Unusual Rate?”
Like Morris, I am neither an actuarial scientist nor a demographer. So, our interpretations of the data should be taken with a grain of salt. My results were somewhat different from Morris’ due to a difference data set and changes in how we calculated actuarial predictions.

I also used Social Security Actuarial Life Tables, but my “expected mortality rates” for the age groups were not the same as Morris’. For each wrestler, I calculated what their age would have been as of today. Then, based on gender, I looked up the number of lives (out of 100,000) that were expected to still be alive and converted that to a percentage. His analysis looked at wrestlers who were on 20+ WWF PPVs through 2002. I went with a...

The WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view (or “Special Event” as WWE is trying to call it in the post-Network era) takes place at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 4th. There’s only one more episode of Raw left before the event and it looks like the card is set although another one or two matches may be added.
This past Monday on Raw, it was announced that Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane in an Extreme Rules match that was confirmed on WWE.com. What’s an Extreme Rules Match? It’s the same thing as a No Holds Barred match where anything goes.

Paige will defend her Diva Championship against Tamina Snuka at Extreme Rules. The match was made official on WWE Main Event, Snuka won a number one contender battle royal, elevating her to the position of being Paige’s first big WWE feud.
This makes the Extreme Rules card as follows: The Shield vs Evolution, John Cena vs Bray Wyatt in a steel cage, Paige vs Tamina. Also expected to be added is Daniel Bryan defending his WWE title against Kane, and Cesaro winning the Raw Intercontinental title tournament to take on Big E for the belt at the PPV. That will probably be the main card right there.
The booking of Paige has so far left a lot to be desired. She got a great debut reaction owing to her being something different from the same old act we see every week, but beyond that the creative made absolutely no sense.

This Sunday is the biggest day on the calendar year for those of us who still prefer this Steve Austin over the one from The Six Million Dollar Man and who still get the urge to patriotically tear off our shirts whenever this terrible Rick Derringer song kicks in. It’s WrestleMania XXX (that’s XXX as in “30,” not in porn terms), and it’s airing live from New Orleans on Sunday night.
I’m particularly excited for this iteration of the show thanks to the development that has completely re-aligned the way I watch and think about the WWE’s theatrical grappling arts.

So, we’re almost there. The biggest professional wrestling show of the year is about to happen, WrestleMania XXX, and so, before it does happen, let’s take a look at the matches that are currently being planned for the New Orleans supershow on April 7th.
WWE confirmed a couple of weeks ago that there would be a two hour pre-show airing on YouTube, WWE.com and the WWE Network in various ways. The pre-show is set to include an star-panel that will discuss the upcoming matches and give their thoughts. We will also get some pre-show in-ring action to wet our appetite for the main card.

We’re just days away from Wrestlemania XXX so with all the matches firmed up, barring any that may be added this week (this column was written before 31st March’s Raw), I’m going to offer up my thoughts and hopes for the various bouts (in no particular order, I might add).
Fatal Four Way Tag-Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Thankfully the Old Age Outlaws seem to have been dropped from the tag team title race, though they are busy elsewhere on the card but we’ll get to them in due course. Instead we’ve got an interesting clash between current champs The Usos, who I happen to think are one of the best tag teams around, Rybaxel, The Real Americans and Los Matadores. I can’t see the title changing hands here, as The Usos are well...

Last night’s edition of Raw was the second last episode of WWE’s flagship show prior to WrestleMania 30 on April 6 in New Orleans. It was held in Brooklyn, New York in front of a boisterous crowd that reacted well to most of the action. There were times when they veered off in another direction with “Cm Punk” chants, but for the most part they cared about what they saw in the ring even without Daniel Bryan in action.
For weeks we’ve been updating you with the lineup for WrestleMania. Several matches were made official following Elimination Chamber while others have slowly taken shape based on recent actions from Raw and Smackdown. Here’s a look at the eight matches that are expected to be a part of the full WrestleMania card.

We continue on the Road to WrestleMania XXX and are less than three weeks away. Recent developments in the storylines leading to the event have made it all the more appealing and opened up some intriguing questions as we approach the thirtieth “showcase of the immortals” in New Orleans. Tonight, we are live from San Antonio, Texas.
The quick results of the matches tonight:
The Real Americans defeated, Tag Champs, The Uso’s Sheamus pinned Titus O’Neal Daniel Bryan pinned Randy Orton after interference from Batista Goldust pinned Fandango The Funkadactyls beat Aj Lee & Tamina Snuka Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry & Big E defeated Ryback, Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow & Alberto Del Rio in tag team action Bray Wyatt beat Kofi Kingston
This was a decent episode of Raw that did plenty to develop the angles as we approach WrestleMania. It is important at this point that each television...

Last night on WWE Main Event on the WWE Network, the Divas Champion Aj Lee successfully defended her title against Natalya.
Prior to the match, there was speculation via PWInsider that Aj could lose the title as a way to punish her due to the actions of her boyfriend Cm Punk. Instead Aj came out on top thanks to Tamina’s interference in a very competitive match that went nearly 15 minutes.
Regarding a possible Divas Title match at WrestleMania, the speculation is that it would be a match involving several divas. The most likely contenders are stars from Total Divas such as Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Natalya, Naomi (if she’s healthy) and Cameron. It’s just a question of how many women they want to include in the match. It’s unlikely that they’re going to have a battle royal due to the other battle royal on the card,...

Previously on: It's "Wrestlemania" season, and all eyes are on the upcoming "granddaddy of them all" in New Orleans. Still, Daniel Bryan continued going after Triple H, while the crowd hated the planned main event of Batista vs. Triple H.
The big news: Bryan may be going to the main event, after all. He hijacked "WWE Raw," along with nearly 100 supporters who flooded the ring and ringside area, demanding a match with Triple H.
Security couldn't clear the ring, and The Authority attempting to start a match did nothing. In the end, Triple H was forced to give in, after a lot of ugly yelling from Stephanie McMahon, including yelling over and over that she "owns" Bryan.
With his match assured, Bryan took things one step further. If he beats Triple H at "Wrestlemania," he gets placed into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Orton and Batista.
Just like that,...

Elimination Chamber, as you’re reading this, has been and gone and we are now well on our way down the road to WrestleMania XXX. There were lots of questions to be answered going in to Elimination Chamber, and in all honesty most of those questions were left unanswered as the show went off the air at 4am UK time on Monday morning on the 24th February 2014.
The show itself was one of those WWE b-shows that ranged, at various times from poor, to mediocre, to good, to fantastic, so lets look at the actual results before talking about the show in more depth shall we?

'WWE Elimination Chamber' live blog: Will Randy Orton retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?
The last big stop on the road to "Wrestlemania XXX" has arrived, and it's time to determine once and for all who will main event WWE's biggest annual show. It's "WWE Elimination Chamber" and, if prior versions are any indication, it's going to be a vicious night.
Here's the card for the show:
"Elimination Chamber" match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Christian)Batista vs. Alberto Del RioThe Shield vs. The Wyatt FamilyThe New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsBig E. vs. Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental ChampionshipDarren Young vs. Titus O'NeilKickoff: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

Survivor Series began at the end of the 1980’s and was a themed show that saw the roster of WWE team together in elimination style tag team battles that saw the biggest stars of the day team together to form super-teams. As time went by the Survivor Series stopped being a show filled with elimination tag matches and today it features a few of them while also promoting regular matches for championships and such. 2013’s show only featured two traditional Survivor Series contests.
We are now in February of 2014 and the information since has told us that this Survivor Series event had the lowest PPV buy-rate since the show first began over two and a half decades ago. Still, it doesn’t mean that this show doesn’t have something worth watching, so here is the match listing and a look at the highlights.

Welcome to this week’s write-up of Monday Night Raw.
The show begins with Randy Orton making his way to the ring, the WWE World Heavyweight Titles around his shoulders, to a chorus of boo’s from the fans. The announcers talk about Randy Orton defending his title against five other men inside the Elimination Chamber at the next PPV. Orton talks about it too, and is greeted with a loud crowd chant of “Cm Punk” who has recently been involved in a controversy in WWE after rumours emerged that he has “walked out” in the past week. Orton says he will beat Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Antonio Cesaro, Christian and Sheamus in said match at the PPV and go on to defeat Batista in the main event of WrestleMania. The fans continue to boo Orton. Triple H’s music plays and “The Game” makes his way out alongside Stephanie McMahon.

Welcome to the Raw following Royal Rumble 2014, the most controversial WWE PPV in many a moon. There are many open questions heading into tonights Raw, and hopefully some of them will be answered in the three hour episode of WWE’s flagship program.
Will the WWE fans continue to voice their vehement support for Daniel Bryan tonight? Will we see new matches made for the upcoming Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania XXX shows? What will happen when the Royal Rumble winner, Batista, steps in front of a crowd after the negative response he received last night on pay per view? Let’s see, shall we?
The show opens with a video package highlighting some of the happenings from last nights Royal Rumble show.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walk to the ring, hugging and embracing with smiles on their faces. Stephanie welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw and seems to be heeling it up.

One night after the 2014 "Royal Rumble" and it looks like this will be an interesting episode of "WWE Raw." Not for the reasons WWE had hoped, though. When the show went off the air with Batista winning the 30-man match, destined for the "Wrestlemania XXX" main event, the audience booed loudly.
Something special and unique to professional wrestling happened during the show, and has been building to this point for months. The crowd wanted to see Daniel Bryan enter the match and win. After losing early in the show, they had convinced themselves he would end the night on top of the world.
That didn't happen though, which angered the fans. Even WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley registered his unhappiness with the outcome.
Now WWE have an interesting conundrum on their hands. Batista's return to the company has been their biggest announcement of the year and something they need to see through.

Welcome back to the review and results write-up of WWE Raw, apologies for not providing a review for a couple of weeks, but here we are, back as normal.
Raw opens with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon standing in the ring, they talk about the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV and the match that will take place between the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, and the challenger, John Cena. Triple H begins to announce the return of a superstar but Orton instead comes out to a smattering of booes from the fans. Orton confronts Stephanie and Hunter about their poor treatment of him in recent weeks and how he should have been protected more by them and not put in matches with the likes of Cena. Triple H more or less tells Orton to “man up” and they book a rematch from last week between Orton and Kofi. For those who don’t know,...

Previously on: Last week it was old school "WWE Raw," a show that was more fun than anything else. The special appearances, the old arena and Jake "The Snake" Roberts. It's all you could have asked for. The foundation was also built for Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar at the "Royal Rumble."
The big news: Regardless of any action in the ring, the biggest news of the night was the first inductee in the 2014 Hall of Fame. WWE revealed that The Ultimate Warrior would appear at the ceremony to take his rightful place in the Hall of Fame.
It's something fans wouldn't have expected a year ago because WWE and Warrior have been on bad terms since the late 90s. However, they were able to bury the hatchet and Warrior even worked with WWE to promote their latest video game, "WWE 2K14."

Raw, the Christmas edition, opens with Good Santa (Mark Henry) and Bad Santa (Damien Sandow) having a battle-rhyme, a festive WWE themed poem-off segment to get the ball rolling.
The stage is set up with Christmas trees, wrapped presents and other Christmas goodies. Triple H’s music hits and Raw is underway.
The Game, alongside his wife Stephanie, the big not-so-red machine, and another dude come out in Santa hats, with smiles on their rich and corporate faces. Previously on: Randy Orton is king of the mountain as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but Daniel Bryan is the man the people want to see. John Cena is still the star, though. Everyone else seems a bit lost in the shuffle.
The big news: There's not much of note. The holidays have arrived for WWE, giving "WWE Raw" a heavy Christmas vibe. Christmas carol singing contests, Divas wrestling in sexy Christmas costumes, and evil Santa Claus vs. good Santa Claus are the types of things you see when WWE is burning time until the new year.
The Authority kicks things off Monday (Dec. 23) by handing out candy to kids in the crowd, setting up matches for the night and letting Kane do his old fire shtick, which seems weird with Santa hats involved. They also give Orton the night off, one week after telling him he needed to be a fighting champion.

The inaugural WWE event, Battleground, certainly lives up to its name! With a Hardcore Rules match, a tag team encounter where an entire family’s livelihood is put on the line and a WWE Championship match that has been months in the making! This brand-new pay per view comes to us from Buffalo, New York and opens with the World Title on the line…
World Heavyweight Championship Hardcore Match
Alberto Del Rio defends his World title here against the challenger, Rob Van Dam under hardcore rules. Ricardo is in Rvd’s corner for the match. The fans are into the match early on with a number of signature moves from Van Dam, including a Ddt onto a chair, a moonsault from the ringside barrier and the introduction of a ladder which gets a loud reaction. Del Rio hits a good looking back stabber and a high kick to the back of Van Dam’s head.

We are now at the Raw following TLC 2013, a show that ended with Randy Orton defeating John Cena to become the new, unified and undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The WWE roster are on the stage as the show opens, and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon stand in the ring together before announcing their new champion, Randy Orton. Orton comes out to loud boo’s from the fans. He walks past the roster and the camera focuses on Daniel Bryan and John Cena, who stare at Orton sternly. Triple H and Stephanie grin at Randy as he enters the ring, obviously forgetting last week when they beat the snot out of each other again. Orton talks about how no-one had faith in him but he proved everyone wrong. We’ve heard this promo, from numerous guys, before, so it isn’t really that interesting. In fact, it’s white noise at this point.

The big news: "WWE Raw" starts out with all of the superstars on the stage and The Authority in the ring, ready to celebrate Orton's achievement. Randy doesn't get much time in the sun though, because Cena finds a microphone and calls him an idiot, among other things.

WWE TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) is the last pay-per-view event in 2013, but it certainly isn’t the least. WWE has decided that the unification match of the WWE and World Heavyweight titles has to take place and it is happening before the road to WrestleMania. Arguably the two biggest names to come out of the post-Attitude era time period will be squaring off in the biggest title merge since 2001 and those two men are John Cena and Randy Orton. There are some other decent matches on the card too, but the focus is certainly on this historic match.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango (Kickoff Match)
These two guys are good performers in the ring and it should be a very fun kick-off match to start the event. I want to say Ziggler will be winning this match, but I have a feeling he’s still in the doghouse with WWE for reasons unknown.

Welcome to this week’s results and review write up of WWE Raw, the flagship show of the biggest sports entertainment company in the world.
So, tonight is a special “Slammy Awards” themed Raw, with awards being given out throughout the evening in a variety of categories, including “Superstar of the Year”, “Rookie of the Year”, “Diva of the Year” and “Match of the Year”. So let’s get going shall we?
The show begins, live from Washington, with local boy, and most-over guy in WWE, Daniel Bryan, making his way to the ring to a monster pop and thousands of “yes” chants from the fans in attendance. His opponent tonight is the dancing, silk shirt wearing, former Johnny Curtis, Fandango, who is accompanied by the lovely Summer Rae. The match isn’t a long one, but allows both men to get some offence in before the inevitable victory of Bryan.

His opponent tonight is the dancing, silk shirt wearing, former Johnny Curtis, Fandango, who is accompanied by the lovely Summer Rae. The match isn’t a long one, but allows both men to get some offence in before the inevitable victory of Bryan.

Welcome to this week’s results and review of WWE Raw. The first Raw of December is under way.
The show opens with “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour playing and Cm Punk making his way down the aisle and to the squared circle as we see a replay of The Shield attacking Punk last week. Punk grabs a microphone and questions why The Shield might have attacked him last Monday night. He said last week he questioned Triple H, which is obviously why he was attacked by Triple H’s “boys” last week. Punk says he doesn’t want anything to do with The Authority. Punk says he prides himself on being one of the “biggest anti-authority guys” in WWE history. Stephanie McMahon’s music cuts Punk off and she makes her way to the stage area with a smile across her face. Stephanie says that she hoped Punk...

Find out how Randy managed to take down The Big Show, then get all the results from one of the WWE’s biggest nights!
WWE Champion Randy Orton had the cards stacked against him when he faced The Big Show on Nov. 24 during the title match of WWE Survivor Series. As the organization’s official site points out, Randy has relied heavily on the interference of outside forces to retain his title, but Triple H made it clear that all Survivor Series face-offs would be strictly one-on-one. So how did the Viper manage to slither his way to victory?
Despite Triple H being adamant about no one interfering in the match, that’s exactly how Randy ended up winning! The Big Show was clearly going to steal the title from Randy — until Triple H, Kane and Stephanie McMahon showed up to distract the world’s largest athlete. Without physically intervening,...

The annual Thanksgiving tradition is back, as WWE presents the 27th "Survivor Series" pay per view. The build up for the show has been mixed, with the WWE Championship feud between Randy Orton and the Big Show not really being given much heat going into the show. The last of WWE‘s big four pay-per-views for the year is about to happen and it certainly doesn’t feel very eventful. Perhaps the reason why the Survivor Series card is so weak is because there is so much advanced planning involved for Wrestlemania XXX that anything special or worth watching is being saved for that. Whatever the case may be, here are our predictions for the 2013 Survivor Series.
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio
John Cena is going to win this match and lay to rest this holdover program. Cena’s return came at Del Rio’s expense and it’s time to move on. The match will be a good 15 minute fight, but Cena will pick up the victory and Del Rio will have to move on to a new program. This comes at the perfect time, because Mysterio is back and two have...
