The 600-member Critics Choice Association (Cca) revealed the film category nominees for the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards, which will be held at the Critics Choice Awards gala, broadcast live on The CW from the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 15, 2023 (at 7:00 p.m. Et). As the largest film critic association in North America, the CCAs are often predictive of the Oscars.
Due to a tied vote, the CCAs voted in 11 Best Picture candidates (the Oscars will have 10) and 10 directors (the Oscars will have five). The organization also expanded the acting categories to six total slots, including ensemble.
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” (A24) led the film contenders with 14 nominations overall: Best Picture, Best Comedy, and five acting nominations including Acting Ensemble. Filmmakers Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Aka Daniels, earned nods in both Best Director and Best Original Screenplay; nominated in the craft categories were Production Design,...

Appropriately enough given that it's set in California, Made in Chelsea: La is really starting to hot up. Breakups, makeups, dramas and scandals - and that's just Mark-Francis hiring a new maid. As always, the show was utterly ridiculous - as Jp would say - so read on for our 14 best bits this week...
1. Is the hottest new Chelsea couple Mytton and Jamie or Mytton and Jp?
Mytton is such a player - and now he's turned his attention to Jamie and Jp. We thought he and Jamie were a sure thing after Mytton dubbed him "a bit of a Cali babe", but then as soon as Jp rustled up some courgetti spaghetti for him it was another story. (Courgetti spaghetti, really.) We think Jamie's going to win, though, seeing as the next time trailer showed him wedding Mytton in Vegas. We don't even know what to do with all of this.

Ollie Locke is returning to Made in Chelsea and we are feeling very excited about it.
Locke - known for his Union Flag car and jacket and his penchant for fake tan - left Made in Chelsea after five series so that he could appear on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2014.
Made in Chelsea La has started! The 10 best bits from the premiere
But he's been spending time with the MiC cast in the City of Angels this summer and will be seen in the final episode of Made in Chelsea: La.
We don't know too much about what he's up to yet, though E4 revealed that we'll see him welcoming his bestie Binky Felstead back to Britain.
Still, E4 also said that he is "sure to bring some drama and mischief".

Made in Chelsea feels like it's been off our screens for ages, so the La series couldn't come quickly enough. Luckily, it all kicked off in style last night, so read on for our 10 favourite moments - from Jamie turning out to be a goodie not a baddie to Mark-Francis actually getting a storyline (and potentially a romantic one at that...)
1. The moment when the girls land in La.
With no luggage. It's almost as if they didn't really fly in on that private plane. Ahem.
2. Jp just saw a fit girl!
Andy Jordan would be so proud of Jp, who stopped in his tracks to grin at two attractive young women - Tara and Naz. He even called them "angels", so we're guessing he's a fan.
3. Jamie accidentally invites the girls to Naz and Tara's pool party.

Made in Chelsea: La is almost here, so it's time to meet the five beautiful Americans joining the show to stir things up.
Joining the Chelsea regulars will be Naz Gharai, Bryan Mione, Cody Weselis, Noah Bewley and Olivia Fox - we just hope they've nailed their awkward silences. Read on to meet them...
Naz Gharai
Naz - originally from Del Mar in San Diego - is single and describes herself as a "hopeless romantic". She's studying for a degree in biology and psychology and is an assistant to a famous music producer, but also enjoys hiking and running on the beach. So what is she looking for? An intelligent man who would take her parasailing or jet packing - oh, and she's described as a "confident head turner who is not afraid to share her opinion". Perfect Chelsea material, then.
Bryan Mione
Bryan, who was born in Calabasas (home of the Kardashians,...

Made in Chelsea's ninth series sadly came to an end on E4 last night (boo), but the closing credits gave us an exciting glimpse of its summer spin-off series set in Los Angeles.
If the La series is anywhere near as fun as last year's NYC stint, it's going to be another American adventure full of squabbles, flirting and potential new relationships. Here are a few things we definitely want to see happening when it returns:
1. Alik reuniting with Louise
Ok, Los Angeles might be quite far away from New York, but surely we'll see some kind of reunion between Alik and Louise? Despite parting ways last week, their relationship remains intact and it is a must to see the Fonz-wannabe coming back. Any excuse to see him arrive in his leather jacket shouting "hey babe!" really.
2. The return of Carson

Ollie Locke has revealed that he would like a Made in Chelsea cameo.
The reality TV star was a main cast member for the E4 show's first five series, but quit in 2013.
While insisting that he does not want a full-time return, he told Gay Times that he would love to film a short appearance at some point in the future.
''I wouldn't go back, but it would be great to do a cameo at some point," he suggested. "Step in during an argument or something like, 'Now listen...'"
Locke also said that his ideal return would be for a crossover episode with ITV2's The Only Way Is Essex.
He said: ''I reckon my cameo [will be] when Channel 4 or ITV decide to do The Only Way Is Chelsea. Can you just imagine?''

The city that never sleeps is certainly providing us with plenty of entertainment - Made in Chelsea: New York continued to roll out the goodies in this week's episode, from a surprise (amazing) return to a naked man to plenty of classic Spencer Matthews faces. But if you missed it, don't despair - we rounded up our 33 best bits (which includes a Stevie Johnson gif you Cannot miss...)
1. The moment when... Mark-Francis and Victoria did Titanic.
They didn't sink, though given that Binky was in charge of the boat this is something of a surprise. (Side note: Mark-Francis saying: "I adore the wind" was just bizarre.)
2. The moment when... we met Alik's dog Buddy.
"This is like your babe magnet," Louise suggested. To be honest we'd probably rather snog the dog than Alik.
3. The moment when... Louise sold out Rosie.
"Rosie needs some action," she declared. We're not sure...

Oh, you know what, we're feeling ever so excited. Finally, after what feels like forever, Made in Chelsea is back tonight. And given that every series so far has given us some fantastic moments, it's no wonder we're anticipating it so much! To celebrate, we just had to look over our favourite bits from the past six series (and hand out some honourable mentions too, of course...)
Series 1: Spencer's mad dash to the airport
Ah, do you remember when Spencer wasn't quite as devilish as he is now? Back in series one, Spenny was completely in love with the beautiful Caggie Dunlop, leading to a movie-style mad dash to the airport in the finale. Everything about this was excellent, from Hugo telling his bestie to stop acting like a "pussy" and "get off his arse and go to the airport", to Caggie telling Millie that saying goodbye to Spenny broke her heart,...

Ollie Locke has claimed that Made In Chelsea would have been much wittier, if bosses hadn’t cut so many of his funny scenes.
The dark haired lothatrio – who recently came out as bisexual on the E4 reality TV show – has claimed that producers continually axed his light herated moments during series one, along with funny scenarios provided by friends Francesca ‘Cheska’ Hull and Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead.
Locke told Bang Showbiz:
“It was really quite odd because they kept cutting out all the really funny parts. There was one scene where the three of us went into this fancy dress shop and just had an absolutely hilarious time. But it was nowhere to be seen in the show. Maybe we were too funny for TV?

Towie stars have reportedly been reprimanded for their rowdy and lewd behaviour.
The cast of the ITV2 reality TV show, including Amy Childs, Sam Faiers and Chloe Sims are said to have been given a dressing down by show bosses, who want them to stop rolling in and out of nightclubs with their skirts round their arses and now want them to represent the show and the channel in a more appropriate way.

Francis Boulle has hit out at the general tendency of the British public to ridicule wealthy people.
