It’s been over a decade since Chad Michael Murray stole teen girls’ hearts everywhere when he played high school football superstar and Prince Charming Austin Ames in A Cinderella Story alongside Hilary Duff. But the 35-year-old actor just reprised his famous role in the most adorable way.
Murray, who’s been with his wife and fellow actress Sarah Roemer since 2014, played dress up to accompany her to her first-ever prom: the Children’s Hospital of Orange County oncology prom.

'The Bachelorette' premiere: 'I'm going to call my parents tomorrow and be like, Yeah, that sucked.'
Don’t worry, rose lovers — it wasn’t Andi calling her parents in tears. Though who could blame her if she had, given that not one of the men thought to emerge from the limo in handcuffs and declare himself a “prisoner of love.” The Bachelorette is an Assistant District Attorney, for Pete’s sake! The possibilities are endless! Instead, though, we got a dude dragging a lamp from the hotel, and another guy who gave Andi a pair of pants so ugly they made Ames’ Nantucket reds look downright fashion-forward. Stay tuned for my full recap later tonight (Update:...

I was bouncing around on ye olde Interwebs today when I noticed a tweet from Bachelor Pad enemy No. 1 Chris Bukowski informing the showmance-franchise’s beloved (and super-dreamy) host Chris Harrison that he’s joining Harrison’s new dating app At First Sight. My first thought: Why can’t the (semi-)newly single Harrison himself be the one setting up a profile?* My second thought: I gotta see this thing in action!
Keep reading as I take At First Sight for a spin — and send a gentle nudge to a few other celebs I’d like to join me in my “journey” to love online.

Note: Do note read on if you have not seen the Season 8 finale of ABC's "The Bachelorette" with Emily Maynard.
I've been recapping "The Bachelorette" since 2003 and I can say with complete certainty that this has been my favorite season. Sure, I love certain characters from episodes of yore (be still my ever-loving Roberto, Ames and Reid heart) but for the first time in a long time, I actually ended the season with a feeling that I had been somewhat entertained each week instead of the usual, "Why does this show have to be two hours long when clearly 30 minutes could suffice?"
Perhaps I liked this year because of Emily's no nonsense attitude toward the traditional rules set forth by "Bachelor" nation. Maybe it was her Southern charm and integrity. It could have been her determination to actually take this reality show seriously for once by truly seeking out...

The time has come again to watch 25 men with questionable sanity vie for the affections of one woman with questionable desirability. This time, it's Emily Maynard, dubbed by Chris Harrison "the southern single mom with heartbreak in her past." In case you're wondering about the heartbreak, her then-fiancé died in a tragic plane crash. But more on that later.
The season premiere began with a snapshot of Emily's everyday life. She makes her daughter Ricky pancakes, brushes Ricky's teeth and mugs for the camera crew in her bathroom. When alone, she rides horses, reads in bed and stands around awkwardly gazing at the sky. She is in serious need of a husband, you see. And a father figure for her daughter, which is why for the First Time Ever (!!!) the show is filming in her home town of Charlotte, Nc. Yes, this season will be totally different than...

Hands down, this season of "The Bachelor" (Mondays at 8 p.m. Est on ABC) rivals that random Prince's season as the most boring in franchise history. The Feb. 27 episode didn't even come close to entertaining. I would call it a distant cousin of mediocre. Like Ben's wardrobe, it was two hours of a bland, forgetful ensemble. In order to spare you the mundane details, I fashioned a fun little quiz to help make the recap more interesting.
1. Which article of clothing did you find most attractive on Ben?
The grey t-shirt
The slate Levis
The granite coat
The smoky tie
None of the above. I sometimes miss and definitely prefer Ames' red chinos.
2. At what point in Switzerland did Ben almost throw up?
When the helicopter went straight down the side of a mountain while he was with Nicki on their date.

Ben Flajnik may be dating a slew of women on The Bachelor, but until he's down to the final one, they are all considered his girlfriends. Well Ben's friend and former The Bachelorette cast-mate Ames Brown sounds like he's totally crushing on one of Ben's women -- Emily O'Brien. In a new video on Warner Bros Bachelor fan site, Ames can't stop singing Emily's praise. We've already recapped the episode portion of the three-hour "Bachelor Pad" finale-palooza. This is our recap of the live reunion show.
Intros
Hilariously, when they get to Melissa - the audience barely makes a sound. Probably 'cause they're all afraid she'll stab them to death. One of the first things that comes up is Ames running after Jackie's limo.
They talk about how they are not together - apparently Ames just decided they weren't right for each other and Jackie spent the summer wondering what she did wrong. Aww. I can see how he maybe didn't handle the break-up super well, he's kind of socially awkward. Ames is trying not to cry when he talks about how much he wanted it to work. Aww.
Talk turns to the Vienna/Kasey power couple alliance thing and William hilariously points out they didn't win anything and they aren't sitting at the end.

Anyone predict this? I sure didn't.
Although a weeping Holly Durst voted off her sweetie Blake Julian in the name of cameraderie with her sad-sack ex-boyfriend (and partner in the Pad competition) Michael on ABC's F*ckfest Bachelor Pad this past week, Blake predicted that things might not be over with Holly. Ben Flajnik, the 28-year-old winemaker whose marriage proposal Ashley Hebert rejected on the season finale of The Bachelorette, will be named the franchise’s next Bachelor, EW’s sources confirm. If producers had to hire from within, I do believe he’s the best option (especially after Ames Brown dared to do Bachelor Pad). To our continued disappointment, anxiety and horror, we don't yet know who will be the next Bachelor. And if you believe what the network's mouthpieces say, neither does ABC.
But we do know a couple things about the man who would be king of sex mountain based on historical trends and just plain common sense (both of which, funnily enough, one would need to ignore altogether in order to convince oneself that becoming the next Bachelor is a good idea):
- He will be a contestant from Ashley Hebert's season of The Bachelorette.
- He will have appeared in at least one of the final three episodes of that season.
- He will need to possess if not a majority, at least a fair sampling of the following traits: Handsomeness, business and/or financial success, positive attitude, charm, 6-pack abs, the ability to talk about his feelings ad nauseum and ad infinitum,...

Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison has described Ames Brown's gesture of love at the end of this week's episode as a "storybook moment". Ames chose to follow his heart and walk away from the $$250,000 prize when Jackie Gordon was eliminated at the second rose ceremony. He chased her limo down the mansion's driveway as the rest of the contestants cheered him on. Speaking to TV Guide.com, host Harrison called the exit "one of the greatest moves in Bachelor History", saying: "Ames showed that, 'I don't need this, it's not going to change my life that much, but leaving here with my dignity and with my love is more important'. "It was a storybook moment only Ames [could do]. It was a beautiful moment and funny to see the cast applauding." > Read Digital Spy's full recap of (more)...

There is no fairy tale ending for Ames Brown and Jackie Gordon. Although Ames was seen choosing Jackie over the chance to win $250,000 on the Monday (August 15) episode "Bachelor Pad", the couple didn't last long off camera. The two confirmed that they are no longer together during a conference call with reporters on Tuesday.
Breaking the news, 31-year-old Ames said, "We had a great time on the show and chose love over money in the competition. We are not still dating but we enjoyed every moment we had together." Having said they dated for only "a couple of weeks", he added, "We just maybe weren't the ideal match."
The split, however, didn't seem to come from a mutual decision. "I personally was definitely shocked that it ended as it did," admitted Jackie during the conference call. "I was certainly not expecting that. I thought this was something that had potential forever,...

The happy ending for Bachelor Pad contestants Jackie Gordon and Ames Brown was short-lived. In separate phone interviews with EW today, they confirmed their relationship has already ended. On the episode that aired last night, Ames romantically chased after Jackie’s limo after she was evicted, taking himself out of the competition, worth $250,000, to be with her.
Following the show, the two spent a week in Napa together for a “remedial wine country tour,” Ames says, and Jackie, who’d watched him on The Bachelorette and frequently posted her appreciation for him on Twitter and Facebook, says she fell for him even more.

If you happened to watch Monday night’s installment of Bachelor Pad, you may have come away from the episode asking, “Am I any better than people who watch two roosters or two pit bulls getting thrown into pit to tear each other limb from limb?”
Fret not, reality TV junkies, the answer to that question is a resounding “Probably!” Because unlike innocent animals forced to fight for the enjoyment of hell-bound sadists, the residents of Bachelor Pad descend into the morass of their own free will. In fact, any guilt you feel about tuning in to the whole ugly...

Bachelor Pad's Ames Brown and Jackie Gordon have ended their relationship. The couple met on the second season of Bachelor Pad and quickly fell for each other, with Ames even choosing to leave the show and the chance for $$250,000 when Jackie was eliminated on this week's episode. However, speaking to reporters on a conference call today, the pair revealed that they broke up after a "couple of weeks" of dating, although they remain friends. Ames said: "We had a great time on the show and chose love over money in the competition and so on. We're not still dating but we enjoyed every moment we had together... It was wonderful while it lasted." He said that there is "nothing bad [he] could possibly say" about Jackie, adding: "She is wonderful in every way. (more)...

Ames Brown impressed America when he ditched his chances to win $250,000 on Monday night's "Bachelor Pad," by jumping into a limo with eliminated contestant - and his newfound ladylove -- Jackie Gordon, but it appears things didn't end happily ever after.
On Tuesday, during a conference call with the eliminated contestants, Ames and Jackie confirmed that despite Ames' great gesture, the two couldn't make it work and have since broken up.
After Jackie was eliminated on Monday night's show following the "Bachelor Pad's" group vote, Ames realized he couldn't stay on the show without the lady he'd ...

Bad news, Bachelor Pad-watching romantics, if the show hasn't beaten that spirit out of you already: Ames Brown and Jackie Gordon, who left together and in love on last night's episode, are no longer together. "It was wonderful while it lasted," though it lasted only a couple weeks, said Ames today in their post-show conference call, adding that he does not regret leaving the show with Jackie, who was eliminated. As Bachelor fans, of course we're used to things not working out, but still! It seemed like those two were smitten enough to last for at least a couple months, not weeks!
And we weren't the only ones saddened to learn directly from the source that the Pad's cutest lovebirds called it quits shortly after declaring in their exit interview that they'd "won" the show by finding love. Gia Allemand, who chose to exit the show after she became...

At least Jake & Vienna will be around for another week. Their ridiculous feud is keeping this competition alive!
In an attempt to reach new levels of class and sophistication, the Aug. 15 episode of ABC’s Bachelor Pad found its male contestants throwing paint-filled eggs at their bikini-clad female competitors, their targets determined by questions like “Who in the house are you least attracted to?” But it wasn’t just the ladies who spent the evening being totally demeaned! When the question turned to “Who do you want to leave the mansion this week?” all eggs turned to everyone’s favorite high-flying douche bag, Jake Pavelka!
But despite everyone hating Jake — particularly his fellow fame whore Vienna Girardi, who knew he wouldn’t be giving his winnings to charity – he managed to survive to see another week in the pad.
And then came the shockers. First, host Chris Harrison announced that...

Bachelor Pad's Ames Brown said he felt like he had won the show after falling for co-star Jackie Gordon on last night's episode. Ames, who appeared on Ashley Hebert's season of The Bachelorette earlier this year, chose to quit the ABC series on this week's episode and follow his heart after Jackie was eliminated at the second rose ceremony. Walking her to the exit limo, Ames said: "I never would have thought any rose ceremony could be as emotionally charged as The Bachelorette when a couple falling in love are split up. No-one knows what to do when things like this happen... "You have to just stay calm and remember what is important, and in this case it's the affection of this beautiful woman I have met and the possibility we may be able to pursue a future together." > Read Digital Spy's full Bachelor (more)...

Ames Brown dropped out of the contention to win $250,000 on "Bachelor Pad", but he went home with another prize. In the Monday, August 15 episode, the star of latest season of "The Bachelorette" walked out of the show voluntarily to follow his new girlfriend Jackie Gordon.
Jackie was sent packing since she did not get a rose from this week's male challenge winner, Michael Stagliano. Acting like a gentleman, Ames walked her to the awaiting limo. But when the car started driving off the pad, the former suitor of Ashley Hebert waved goodbye to the other contestants and ran into the limo.
"I fell in love with her in a way I never fell in love with anybody before," Ames declared. He added when already sitting on the backseat next to Jackie, "I think it's safe to say we won Bachelor Pad 2."
Ames is not the only contestant who leaves the show on own request.

After week one’s epic three-hour event, week two started off with the same gusto. With things changing so much the competitions have become huge this season. The only safe place to be sitting during elimination is with a rose. This week’s competition was rough to watch. It was interesting how it opened up a lot of issues in the house, and also within certain individuals.
Melissa and Michael won the competition and each of them won dates where they were able to take three others with them. Could their dates have been any more different and could they have gone any different?...

After the three-hour premiere, how will we ever get by with just two hours of "Bachelor Pad'? Turns out, this episode was chock full o' drama-y goodness.
Post-Elimination
Kasey preens that he's in control of the game - "If you don't choose a side, you're going to get canceled." That's ... not a phrase, Kase. Are you trying to make that phrase happen? Kasey also says it's going to be peace out for Jake. Man, I never thought anyone could make me want Jake to stick around and seem likable, but Kasey and Vienna are accomplishing that.
Competition
The guys go first - blindfolded, backs to the ladies, the girls one at a time are asked revealing questions. They answer the question by hitting the man with a paint-filled egg. If they hit the target, they get a point, if they miss, no points. The man and woman with the...

Words are spreading that the next "Bachelor" would be Ben Flajnik whom Ashley Hebert rejected during "The Bachelorette" August 2 finale. The 28-year-old winemaker from Sonoma, CA is reportedly the frontrunner to star on "The Bachelor", competing for the post against Ashley's other rejected suitors, Ames Brown and Ryan Park.
"Everyone wants [Ben] to find the woman of his dreams," an insider told Us Weekly. A source said that Ben was actually really close to Ashley and "loved" her. Ashley herself thought that Ben would be perfect to take the place. "Ben would be really good - but so would Ryan and Ames," she said. "We'd watch any of those guys!" J.P. Rosenbaum, whom Ashley picked eventually, added.
Ben is heavily considered probably because he recently confirmed that he was not yet back in the dating world after "Bachelorette" finished filming. "Dear Rumor Mill, I am not dating anyone. Far too...

Justin "Rated R" Rego, 27, got caught with a girlfriend on Ali Fedotowsky's season of The Bachelorette. Did you see anything that surprised you when you watched? Ames and Jackie making out right away. They make a cute couple. And seeing how the voting went. It seemed like Gia was the deciding vote that sent me home. At the reunion,...

An insider says that Ben ‘is the favorite with the women trying out’ for ‘The Bachelor’! Has Ben already won the title of ‘Bachelor’?
Would ABC please just make up their minds about who is going to be the next Bachelor already? First it seemed that the network was priming Ryan Park for the role with all the air time they were giving him on Ashley Hebert‘s season of The Bachelorette. But now an insider reveals that producers are most likely going to pick Bachelorette runner-up Ben Flajnik, who was mislead by Ashley to believe that he was “the one” only to get dumped moments after he proposed!
Ben “is the favorite with the women trying out for the show, and the crew,” a source tells Us magazine. “Everyone wants him to find the woman of his dreams.”
Host Chris Harrison even thinks that Ben would be the best shot.

Monday's three-hour premiere of Bachelor Pad was equal parts titillating, infuriating, and confusing. It's clear that everyone's favorite hotness-based charity is doling out free drinks, free bunks, and a relatively modest "grand prize" of $250,000 for whichever one of these dim bulbs can survive several weeks of living inside a real-life telenovela, but how have things gotten so angsty, so fast?
Credit goes to ABC's psychological torture team, which has painstakingly carefully arranged two recently broken-up/formerly engaged couples, a love triangle, and guaranteed fan-favorites like Gia and Ames within kissing distance of each other. It's exhausting how much is going on betwixt these tanning-addicted twentysomethings,... More >>...

Welcome back to Bachelor Pad, a squelching cesspool of amorality, intellectual rot, and abject horror where wannabe celebrities come to play for the chance to take home a cash prize that’s more than double what they hand out to the winner of Project Runway.
But before the scheming, crying, flesh baring, and inappropriate touching begin, we get a status report on what some of our franchise graduates got up to after they retreated from the Bachelor/Bachelorette habitat and temporarily returned to their camera-free caves. Jackie is still seeking “love.” Gia needs a flow-chart to explain the ugly web...

A year ago the two of us were in the Bachelor mansion competing for $250,000. While we're no strangers to this game, Bachelor Pad season 2 appears to come with new dynamics and unexpected twists sure to keep us all guessing. We've become friends with many on both sides of this game, so now we're looking forward to sitting back with you each week, rooting and reacting as hopefully the most deserving competitors make their way to a $250,000. Bunkmates are still being chosen, friends and enemies are being sorted, the first challenge has barely been completed and already we have just witnessed...

Are you ready for all the flirting, drama and tears of "Bachelor Pad" Season 2? I can hardly wait. Chris Harrison welcomes us by saying that "Bachelor Pad" is the home for the men and women who did not find love on "The Bachelor" or "Bachelorette." He fails to say "some of the men and women," because if it were all the men and women who didn't find love, "Bachelor Pad" would be held in a football stadium.
Also - this is three hours long, so strap in, peeps. Hope you're still here at the end.
Run-down of the contestants. Highlights include:
Reliving Justin "Rated-r" Rego's wussy romp through the bushes trying to get away from Ali.Michelle Money is back and I still hate her. She's crazy, she's not as funny as she thinks she is, and she's super-fake looking. You can't even win me over with the "dad has cancer" thing.

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, we haven't seen you in a while! Ames Brown, didn't we just see you the other day? Gia Allemand, back for more, we see. Michelle Money, here to make trouble, we presume! The second season of Bachelor Pad kicked off tonight with 16 castoffs and two "winners" from past seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette filing into an L.A. mansion in hopes of a second shot at love. Oh, and maybe some of them want to get their hands on $250,000. Everyone's favorite summertime guilty pleasure is back when "Bachelor Pad" premieres its second season on ABC Monday night (Aug. 8). In the first challenge, the couples are forced to "hook up," by intertwining with each other and dangling on hooks and wires.
The last couple up there wins. Vienna and Kasey, who are a pre-show couple, are ready to go. Meanwhile, Jake is nervous if he doesn't win because he's so unpopular in the house. I'm surprised he got a girl to pair up with him without being forced.
William/Gia and Ames/Michelle drop immediately, so it doesn't say much for Ashley Hebert's bachelors, huh? Who do you think comes out on top, Jake or Vienna? We can't wait to watch them fight all summer. Bring on the tears!
"Bachelor Pad" premieres Monday night, Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. Et on ABC - a three-hour premiere, so buckle up.

"Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert chose J.P. Rosenbaum for her man during the season finale Monday night (Aug. 1). The happy couple spoke with the press Tuesday about their experience on and off the show.
Of the experience on the show, Ashley says, "The show really brought us together. We confided in each other, we learned how to communicate, we dealt with jealousy, insecurity. We've been engaged for two months, but it feels like we've been together for years."
"We really feel like the hardest part is past. But we're just looking forward to starting our lives together," adds J.P.
When the subject of Ben comes up, Ashley admits to maybe not handling his proposal the best possible way.
