Tatiana Maslany, star of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, doesn’t think a second season of the Marvel series is going to happen.
During a recent interview, Maslany explained the reason as to why she thinks the Disney+ show will not be coming back.
“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks,'” Maslany said during an appearance on Codenames Live! — The New Class on Twitch.
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Maslany starred as Jennifer Walters, an attorney who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. The nine-episode first season focused on Walters navigating her life as a single woman who is also a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
Guest appearances from the MCU in the first season included Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga,...

The Daniel Radcliffe-starring comedy anthology series Miracle Workers has been canceled at TBS after four seasons, making the August 28 episode the series finale. But now loyal fans are wondering if the show might be saved by another network or streaming service. As reported by Deadline, the show’s future looked grim back in January when TBS no longer had options on the cast, meaning new deals would have needed to be made for a possible fifth season. However, the creative team was said to have had storyline ideas already in place for Season 5, so if ratings for Season 4 did well, it was possible the show could have been renewed. And sources say that Radcliffe is keen to carry on with the show, which is something of a pet project of his. In addition to Radcliffe, the series starred Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass, who portrayed new characters each season.

There was no miracle for TBS' last remaining live-action comedy series. To no surprise, the cable channel has cancelled the Miracle Workers series, so it won't be back for a fifth season. The fourth season aired over five weeks during the summer.
The fourth season of the Miracle Workers comedy anthology series stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. Guest stars include Quinta Brunson, Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Lolly Adefope, Paul F. Tompkins, and Lisa Loeb. Simon Rich created the show. Subtitled End Times, season four is set in a post-apocalyptic future. The story follows a wasteland road warrior named Sid (Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord named Freya (Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare: settling down for a more normal life in the suburbs. Miracle Workers has come to an end. TBS has canceled the anthology comedy series, its last remaining live-action comedy, after four seasons. The Season 4 finale, which is now the series finale, aired August 28.
The cancellation is not entirely unexpected. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reported in January that Season 4 could be the last. At the time, she heard that TBS no longer had options on the cast, led by Daniel Radcliffe, so new deals would need to be made for a possible fifth season — a daunting proposition, which networks rarely resort to. But she heard that the series’ creative team had an idea for a potential fifth season that Radcliffe was excited about, so, if Season 4 did well ratings-wise, it was possible that the show could have continued with Radcliffe, who would have needed to make a new pact.

TBS original comedy “Miracle Workers” has been canceled after four seasons, Variety has confirmed. The cancellation comes just months after the series finale aired in August.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Season 4 (aptly titled “End Times”) of the anthology comedy picked up with wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs. “Together they navigate the existential horrors of married life and small-town living, all under the dubious guidance of a wealthy junk trader (Steve Buscemi),” reads the description. Previous seasons covered the Oregon Trail and the Dark Ages.
In addition to Radcliffe and Viswanathan, the series also starred Karan Soni (“Deadpool”) and Jon Bass (“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”), and Karan Soni. TBS‘s delightful oddball comedy Miracle Workers is finally back and delivering its zaniest season yet with End Times, the fourth chapter in the anthology series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Geraldine Viswanathan, Steve Buscemi, Jon Bass, and Karan Soni. Fans who have followed the gang since Season 1 know that every chapter sees them playing new characters. So, who are they in the End Times, which evokes comparisons to Mad Max and Dune among other apocalyptic works? Radcliffe and Viswanathan, who have played out the “will they or won’t they?” romance in past seasons, are kicking things off as a married couple, Sid and Freya. The dynamic change offered the stars a new avenue to explore. “It was really nice to switch it up and kind of mine the territory of a relationship versus like the ‘will they won’t they’ of it all,” Viswanathan tells TV Insider. “I think we’ve definitely exhausted that,...

Daniel Radcliffe isn’t eager to step back into the Wizarding World. In a recent interview, the actor said he isn’t “seeking” a cameo appearance in the upcoming TV show reboot of the “Harry Potter” franchise.
First announced in April, the upcoming “Harry Potter” series for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max streamer will adapt all seven books in J.K. Rowling’s popular series of children’s fantasy novels. The series will be the second screen adaptation of the popular books, following the Warner Bros.’ original “Harry Potter” film series, which shot Radcliffe to international fame when he was only 11 years old.
In an interview with Comic Book.com published Monday, Radcliffe said he understands the new adaptation will be their own interpretation, and that he believes his presence will be a distraction from the new actor playing the title character.

TBS will air the fourth season of Miracle Workers, after all. The series was initially set to return in January, but the cable channel cancelled those plans at the last minute. It was looking unlikely that the comedy's fourth season would air on the channel as TBS and other Warner Bros. Discovery outlets dropped multiple shows as part of cost-cutting measures.
Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass, the comedy anthology series takes viewers into the workplace through different periods. Season four is subtitled End Times and is set in a post-apocalyptic world.

"I don't care if we live in Boomtown or the wasteland, as long as I am with the same violent warlord that I fell in love with." TBS has revealed another new trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic season of the anthology comedy series Miracle Workers. This latest season, now set to launch in July this summer, has been dubbed Miracle Workers: End Times - and it takes place in a post-nuke, dusty setting, riffing on Mad Max. “It had everything to do with it,” admits Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”), about the main reason why she wanted to star in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” Portraying Jennifer Walters on the show meant she could upend expectations by giving voice to a woman in her 30s awkwardly navigating her career and personal life, who just so happens to also be a superhero in her spare time. “When I read the first script,” she explains, “it was so funny, so human and so irreverent of any expectations of what a superhero is. I found Jennifer just so infinitely relatable.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.

"I don't know how I can help." Gravitas Ventures has revealed an official trailer for a crime thriller titled Among the Beasts, the latest from actor / filmmaker Matthew Newton. Now set to open both in theaters and on VOD coming up in February. When a gangster's daughter reluctantly teams with a former Marine to find her kidnapped cousin, the combat veteran must overcome his own demons in order to rescue the child. There's not much more to the plot than that, yet another of these junk films being dumped on VOD every week. This indie thriller stars Tory Kittles, Libe Barer, Sarunas J. Jackson, Kate Easton, Jeremy Holm, Mark Mitton, with Jon Bass, and Jim Norton. Unfortunately this looks instantly forgettable and entirely uninteresting, not even worth watching the trailer either. The Boy Who Lived evidently survived the apocalypse. TBS released the official trailer for the fourth season of its “Miracle Workers” anthology on Tuesday, showing “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe leading a sitcom-riff on the “Mad Max” franchise.
Created by Simon Rich, previously known for the Fxx series “Man Seeking Woman,” “Miracle Workers” is a comedy anthology series, with each season telling a new story with the same cast playing different characters. Along with Radcliffe, each season features Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass in the main cast.
Season 1 was set in the modern day, focusing on a pair of angels attempting to avert Earth’s destruction, while Seasons 2 and 3 were period pieces set in the English Dark Ages and the American Oregon Trail, respectively. For the fourth season, the show heads to the future, with Radcliffe portraying a warrior navigating a post-apocalyptic wasteland. When he encounters a warlord (Viswanathan), sparks fly,...

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actor Jon Bass diabolically becomes Hulk-King as Todd for a minute in Episode 9, then Jen Walters rewrites the climax to delete his existence in Marvel's Disney+ series. Jon's Hulk King comes and goes but the actor tells CineMovie that he enjoyed at least being able to hulk out in a motion capture suit along with Tatiana Maslany, Tim Roth and Mark Ruffalo.

Jon Bass loves playing the villain. "[It's] the best," he tells Popsugar.
The 33-year-old actor stars in "She-Hulk" as Todd Phelps, the obnoxious billionaire who gives us the world's cringiest "Wakanda Forever" and turns out to be a raging misogynist hellbent on stopping She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany).
"I love it. I had so much fun," he says of being the bad guy. "Playing the villain is so much more fun than playing the hero." Of course, Bass has played the villain before. He explored his bad side in a role on "The Newsroom," and he even played a jerk also named Todd on "Miracle Workers." Bass notes that in some ways playing a bad guy "comes natural" to him. "Luckily, I don't mind poking fun at myself or at the sort of people we're trying to poke fun at."
He admits, "I think sometimes I have a punchable face," adding that it's "slightly punchable" and "slightly likable.

Spoiler alert! Major spoilers ahead for the season 1 finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”, “Whose Show Is This?” Don’t read on if you haven’t watched!
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” wrapped up its first season on Thursday with a majorly-meta finale that found Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), literally breaking the fourth wall to reset the things that had gone wrong with her story.
After discovering that billionaire Todd Phelps (Jon Bass) was HulkKing, the leader of the She-Hulk hating online forum, Intelligencia, who had stolen her blood in order to create a Hulk serum of his own, and learning that Abomination (Tim Roth) was holding a meeting of these trolls at his Summer Twilights retreat, and having to face off against nemesis Titania (Jameela Jamil) once again, Jen had just about enough.

In the season finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, misogynistic billionaire Todd Phelps (Jon Bass) is revealed to be the story’s true villain.
He’s HulkKing — the creator behind Intelligencia, an online community of disenfranchised men and web trolls hellbent on hating Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany), or She-Hulk. Fueled by their disdain for a woman in power, Intelligencia wants to publicly defame Jen, but more importantly, they’re out to steal her blood in order to take her Hulk powers.
Following the show’s final episode, Bass applauded head writer Jessica Gao for how the storyline navigates the action and the comedy, while also tackling issues like misogyny and sexism.
“It’s fortunate to be a part of something that is so funny and so on the nose, without hitting you over the head with it,” Bass tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“This is a mess!” Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) complains directly to the camera in the season finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” after several dangling plot strands from the season — the anti She-Hulk site Intelligencia run by toxic bro Todd Phelps (Jon Bass), the zen superhero retreat run by the Abomination (Tim Roth), the superhero influencer Titania (Jameela Jamil), the return of Jennifer’s cousin Bruce Banner as the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) — suddenly collided in the same showdown action sequence.
“None of these storylines make any sense!” Jennifer says to the viewing audience. “Is this working for you?”
Suddenly, the screen cuts from her face to the Marvel Studios landing page on Disney+, and Jennifer (now transformed into She-Hulk) bursts out of the “She-Hulk” thumbnail and into one for a “Marvel Assembled” making-of doc.

This post contains spoilers for the "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" finale.
Who did you think would be the Big Bad at the end of She-Hulk's season-long saga? In the leadup to the finale, it was absolutely anyone's guess. Despite being packed with a ton of lesser-known comic villains, "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" has never been overly concerned with laying out the candidates for who has been targeting Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany). Sure, we knew that something suspicious was going on with her romantic fling Josh and there were lots of hints about the mysterious Intelligencia, but following those breadcrumbs was never really the point of this story. And in case you ever doubted that, the season finale made sure to hammer it into all of our heads by swerving off in a very unexpected direction.

Warning: spoilers ahead for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" episode 9.
The "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" finale unmasked Todd Phelps (Jon Bass) as the villainous Hulk King, the creator of Intelligencia — the online community of disenfranchised men dedicated to hating Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), aka She-Hulk. What, you ask, is the root cause for this all-encompassing, fiery hatred? Because she's powerful and she's a woman. How dare she exist! Frankly, it's such an over-simplified and deeply stupid motivation that it would be unbelievable and cringe-worthy in most stories — yet, it is so personal to Marvel's recent history that it's kind of a brilliant twist. The writers of "She-Hulk" saw its nastiest, most misogynistic critics coming, and responded by literally making them the show's "bad guys."
One of the over-arching plot threads in the premiere season of "She-Hulk" was the emergence of an online hate community, Intelligencia, comprised of angry men who want to "take down" Jennifer Walters.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains details from the season one finale of She Hulk: Attorney At Law.
The Disney+ comedy ended its critically-hailed first season with creator Jessica Gao going full meta by having her title character (Tatiana Maslany) question whether this is best way to wrap the first nine episodes.
Titled “Whose Show Is This,” the episode pulls back the curtain on the misogynistic Intelligencia group and how it’s trying to bring down the She Hulk for exhibiting powers she didn’t earn. When it’s revealed that Intelligencia founder Todd Phelps (Jon Bass) stole She Hulk’s blood so he can bulk up himself, the episode goes full madcap with cameos by the Abomination (Tim Roth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) before Jennifer breaks the fourth wall and expresses confusion over where the episode is headed. Major spoilers ahead for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" finally did what some of us have been waiting for since the series was first announced: We got our nod to the 1970s "The Incredible Hulk" TV series! In a finale that stuck the landing in a way that many Marvel Disney+ shows haven't been able to manage, this was an extra treat!
I have only the vaguest memories of the 1970s show, other than loving it as a tiny person and thinking that star Bill Bixby was just the coolest. However, I definitely remember the opening sequence for the show, which had its two-hour TV movie premiere in 1977 and ran for 80 episodes beginning in 1978. It had a sort of sad tone, following Bill Bixby's Dr. David Banner, who had been researching how people get superhuman abilities sometimes when they're under great duress. She-Hulk, we hardly knew ya! Nine weeks have flown by in a flash, and though it feels like we've only just started to gel with the newest Marvel hero, our time together is already coming to a close ... at least for now, anyway. But that doesn't mean the journey wasn't memorable. "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" may have started off a bit rocky — its low-stakes, reluctant hero storyline didn't appeal to everyone — but to this writer at least, the series got better with time. As "She-Hulk" came closer to its finale though, a different issue arose: would the series stick the landing, or at least manage to avoid the trappings of the dreaded Marvel finale?
For so many projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the finale has come to be synonymous with messy, CGI-laden spectacle. Intricate character work...

Over the course of its nine-episode season, "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" has emerged as one of the highlights (if not the highlight) of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. More than any other Disney+ MCU show this side of "WandaVision," creator Jessica Gao's meta-legal comedy series has effectively utilized the episodic format of its medium to serve its storytelling. No two episodes of "She-Hulk" feel the same, and I mean that in the best way possible.
But it's not just that. The first time Jennifer Walters broke the fourth wall in the premiere's opening minutes, it mostly felt like the show's attempt to lampshade its own fidelity to the MCU formula. However, as things progressed, the series made good on its promise to change things up. It focused primarily on Jen's daily struggles to balance her dual lives, be it in the eyes of the media,...

This article contains spoilers for the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
Whatever fans were expecting from the finale of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it’s fair to say those expectations were way off. After being banned from practicing law following the events of last week’s episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) was fitted with an inhibitor and lost her job. She even had to move back in with her parents. But she was also determined to get to the bottom of the Intelligencia plot to humiliate and discredit her.
Colleagues Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and Pug (Josh Segarra) were soon on the case, infiltrating the cabal of internet trolls at Emil Blonsky’s retreat, where they had gathered to celebrate their victory over her. It was revealed that none other than Todd (Jon Bass), the gross dude who had popped up a few times and was clearly obsessed with Jen,...

After several teases, it seems that Daredevil is finally ready to make his debut on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. A new clip from Thursday’s episode of the Marvel series has been released, and the Man Without Fear is front and center as he faces off against She-Hulk for the first time.
The clip finds Daredevil chasing after Eugene Patillo, aka Leap-Frog, before She-Hulk puts a stop to it. “You need to back off,” Daredevil warns. “You’re making a mistake.” After Daredevil evades She-Hulk’s attack, she says, “You made a mistake when you messed with my client, because now I’m gonna whoop your ass.” To which Daredevil responds, “Huh, my ass remains un-whooped.” It’s a fun little clip, and it’s great to see Charlie Cox suited up as Daredevil once again. Check it out above!
