I’m dying for some Arrow or Flash scoop! –Matthew
Arrow is seeking an Iris West type… No, just kidding. (Too soon?) The Flash, however – in addition to Wendy – is casting the season-long role of a classically handsome, square-jawed hero in his 30s to early 40s, a slightly cynical man “with an edge.” The casting call lists the character as “John Clark,...

I had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to tackle a list of my most anticipated movies of 2015. I'm not going to take the time to count the number of sequels, remakes, spin-offs, reboots, parts two of two or re-imaginings that are hitting theaters this year because, quite frankly, it doesn't matter any more. Trying to figure out where a film like Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens fit into a list of most anticipated films that weren't anything like it was impossible. Even then, how much am I "anticipating" the new Star Wars film versus how curious am I to simply see how it will turn out now that it's out of the hands of George Lucas and into the hands of J.J. Abrams, whose last Star Trek film was a complete messc Therefore, I decided on two distinctions in film, the blockbusters and then everything else.

New York -- Noted American playwright Eugene O'Neill had a melancholy view of life's possibilities, which didn't prevent him from winning several Pulitzer Prizes for his dramas, including one for his first full-length play, the 1920 tragedy, "Beyond the Horizon."
The turgid domestic drama, about life-altering, mistaken choices that slowly crush a family's dreams, is currently in a smart, touching, if expectedly depressing off-Broadway revival at The Irish Repertory Theatre.
In rural 1907 eastern Massachusetts, two close brothers in their early 20s are both in love with Ruth, the farm girl next door. Younger Mayo brother Robert, a bookish dreamer following a sickly childhood, is about to embark on his life's ambition, heading on a round-the-world sea voyage for three years with his uncle. Brother Andrew has no curiosity about the greater world, and is looking forward to helping their father run the farm, while secretly hoping to marry Ruth.
