Often, the special ingredient behind a successful villain is a tera-jerker backstory. You can see it in My Hero Academia (Shigaraki), Naruto (Itachi Uchiha), and many other hit anime. Yet, Tite Kubo managed to create one of the biggest anime villains with absolutely no backstory.
Aizen, the slimy (and handsome) antagonist of Bleach, has conquered innumerable hearts. But how? Tite Kubo never gave him a proper backstory. No one knows why he has an evil mentality. Worst of all! You can’t even tell if you should sympathize with him or not. Turns out Kubo never gave much of an explanation for his intentions on purpose.

Bleach is one of the Big Three of anime. Even though it did not reach the same popularity as Naruto and One Piece, it still played a crucial role in changing the course of the manga and anime industry for the better. Bleach revolves around Ichigo Kurosaki, who met a female shinigami, Rukia Kuchiki, and later became a substitute shinigami.
Tite Kubo did a great job with his magnum opus, but the fans always felt that the ending was rushed and could have been explored more. While most fans thought it was due to Shueisha forcing Kubo to wrap up the manga in a limited time, it was actually the mangaka who wanted the manga to end. The Thousand Year Blood War arc suffered a rushed ending.

Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida has sparked excitement among fans with his recent remarks regarding the possibility of an anime adaptation for his latest manga, Choujin X.
In a recent interview, Ishida was asked about his thoughts on the prospect of Choujin X being adapted into an anime. He responded with “I’d love to see it…“
While Ishida’s statement doesn’t confirm an official anime adaptation is in the works, it certainly suggests his openness and potential desire for the project.
Fans however, aren’t that keen on the idea of Choujin X getting an anime adaptation particularly due to their dissatisfaction with Studio Pierrot’s handling of the Tokyo Ghoul anime adaptation. They believe that for Choujin X to receive a faithful and high-quality adaptation, it would require an exceptional team and studio at the helm, given their past experiences.

It takes some authors decades to realize how to end their stories, while others know the ending from the very beginning; Tite Kubo falls in one of those categories. Endings and beginnings are two of the most complicated parts of a story, parts that if failed, would cause chaos or even failure of the projects that many put their hopes and dreams in.

Tite Kubo has always prided himself with the fact about how he takes his time in establishing a character so as to incorporate a response from the fans in a more positive direction. Bleach has an array of different characters that vary in personality, design, and overall individuality. When creating such distinctive characters, they almost become people of their own.

That is not to say that some authors cannot have fun with what they have created. It is this creative freedom that many of the best mangakas and artists thrive on. Kubo also takes full advantage of such a situation, that too through the character of Toushirou Hitsugaya.

Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, has blessed the anime and manga communities with his works. His creations like Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump have opened the realm of manga to a global audience that has now fallen in love with the anime and manga industry, making it one of the biggest entertainment artworks of all time.
The Dragon Ball universe
However, Toriyama revealed in an interview that he did not plan to send the drafts of his magnum opus, Dragon Ball, to Weekly Shonen Jump. Rather, he wanted to send it to Weekly Shonen Magazine at first but, ultimately, was forced to get his work published in Weekly Shonen Jump. Toriyama’s first manga, Dr. Slump, was already a big deal in Weekly Shonen Magazine at the time.

It is undeniable that Akira Toriyama will always be remembered for creating the Dragon Ball manga series. The first Dragon Ball manga came out in 1984. It eventually went on to become one of the most successful manga series of all time. After the success of Dragon Ball, Toriyama became a source of inspiration for other manga artists.
Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball anime
After the Dragon Ball manga became widely popular, it paved the way for several anime adaptations. The first anime had 153 episodes and aired from 1986 to 1989. Since then, four other Dragon Ball anime have been made with the last release being Super Dragon Ball Heroes. Piracy and anime have been linked together since the beginning of this century. It is a subject that continuously indicates the want to watch shows regardless of where you reside.
It was very irritating to numerous fans that they couldn’t get access to particular anime series or read their preferred manga because distribution didn’t bring them into their nation. Fansubs eventually provided millions of fans worldwide the opportunity to explore and like manga and anime.

There are many coming-of-age stories that can take place in the transitory phase of maturity but a subgenre of the same is where Kaiju No. 8 lies. The subgenre is referred to as delayed coming of age. The themes of maturity, finding yourself in the world, and other such factors remain, except that the age of the protagonist is much past their 20s. Kaiju No. 8 stands out in one way many shonen works fail to. It is relatable in a way most coming-of-age stories wouldn’t be.
