Time is an unpredictable thing. Sometimes, it steals things from you that you can't get back — emotions of a younger self your older self can no longer feel. Other times, it respects the most precious things you have, the feelings that have come to define you, and lets them endure.
Claire and Jamie's love falls into that second category. When they come together after two decades apart, both are nervous that the love they still feel will have faded in the other. We, as viewers, know this is not the case. We have seen...

The absolute shit that is coming out of Donald Trump’s mouth is just…
I can’t even.
I’m writing this on Thursday, when I should (finally) be packing, because my daughter is picking me up at 1:30 this afternoon for my flight to Denver and the Comic Con. But this column appears on Monday afternoon and I’ll still be in the Mile High City, so I got up early, made myself a cup of tea, and sat down to talk about how I’m looking forward to the convention, my first in years…
… but I put on Morning Joe (on MSNBC) and I’m sitting here with my mouth open and my political side spinning as I watch Joe and Mika and Willie and their panel and their guest report on and talk about the absolute shit that is coming out of the Republican nominee’s mouth.

As we began talking about editorial content we could publish to celebrate the release of Hail, Caesar!, the latest film from Joel and Ethan Coen, we realized that none of us had the same top five lists, and that it seems unusual for that to be the case. The Coens have had such a rich and varied career that it is impossible to pin them down to one style or one theme or one type of storytelling. Some people love their comedies. Some people love it when they get dark. Some people love the underdogs, the least-liked of their films. But what's clear is that every film they've made has its fans, and even their worst films are beloved by someone. There are few artists like the Coen Brothers, and we were delighted to get lists from each of our special guest contributors this time. The diversity of the replies...

The creative partnership between Billy Bob Thornton and the Coen Brothers has been a fruitful one – producing The Man Who Wasn’t There, Intolerable Cruelty, the first season of the television series of Fargo, and Bad Santa. It is this film, and the role of professional thief Willie, that is most closely associated with the actor – which itself is testament to the enduring appeal of the movie. While a sequel has long been rumoured, Miramax has now confirmed the shooting schedule and release date for Bad Santa 2.
“Miramax and Broad Green Pictures announced today that Billy Bob Thornton (television series Fargo, Sling Blade, A Simple Plan, Bandits) will reprise his signature role as Willie Soke in Bad Santa 2, the follow-up to the raucous comedy hit Bad Santa, first released in 2003. Geyer Kosinski (the television series Fargo) will produce.
“Miramax will partner with Broad Green Pictures to co-finance and co-produce.

Since the late 80s Springfield and its many weird, wonderful and wacky inhabitants have had us in uncontrollable fits of laughter. In the many years it has been running Matt Groening and his band of merry cartoon-weaving geniuses have crafted an intricate web of interlinking backstories for all the characters which enables audiences to perceive Springfield as a real town – our vibrantly colourful home away from home. From Apu Nahasapeemapetilon and his quest to be accepted in the country he loves to Larry Burns’ desire to finally get approval from his father, every character – no matter how major or minor – has their own history, dreams and fears.
The detail with which each character’s backstory have been rendered means that there are many inhabitants of Springfield who have a surprisingly dark past. The show may ostensibly be a comedy but it is shocking just how many of...

If you weren't eating ice cream while watching "Duck Dynasty" on Wednesday (Feb. 26), you will want to after you finish reading this.
Jase goes all-terrain
Willie installs an ice cream machine in his office, to motivate his team. Everyone gets ice cream for doing good work. Jase and Si, however, think it's silly, childish blackmail, andthey're not children. The others disagree. They like the ice cream. I could go for some right now, but I digress.
What does motivate a grown man? The fancy "Argo Amphibious Atv" all-terrain vehicle, or "the ultimate redneck chariot" as Jase calls it, when he pulls up in it like a god. Admittedly, it's a cool machine. Eight wheels, seats a bunch of people and it can go on water and over land.
Jase says it's for the use of the warehouse crew only, within a point system -- each assembled duck call is between 1 and 10 points,...
