Christie Brinkley shared then-and-now photos with her son on Instagram to celebrate his 28th birthday.
The 69-year-old supermodel and her son Jack Paris Brinkley-Cook recreated a throwback photo of Jack as a toddler. The old shot from two decades ago is paired with the more recent picture, with the mother and son in the same position.
Alongside the adorable snapshots were poetic words paying tribute to Jack, expressing Brinkley’s love towards her second child on this special occasion.
“From there to here, in the blink of an eye, You’ve turned into the most wonderful guy!” she wrote. “28 years of adventures and fun, you’re the very best brother and my favorite son!”
“Thoughtful kind and wicked smart, what makes me proudest is your beautiful heart!” she continued.
“We all love you so much Giacomo! Happy Birthday Jack Paris! ”
Brinkley also tagged her son in the post. In the flashback image,...

In her latest Instagram snaps, Sailor Brinkley Cook posted a series of photos of herself wearing a high-rise blue one-piece swimsuit.
Sailor, 24, paired the swimsuit, which came from supermodel Candice Swanepoel‘s eco-brand Tropic of C, with a long gold necklace and a pair of thin hoop earrings. She posed next to palm trees in front of the rolling beach waves.
In Memoriam 2022: 100 Great Celebrities Who Died In 2022
She wore minimal makeup, instead going for a very natural look.
This got many of her fans to see similarities between her and her mother and famed model Christie Brinkley.
Christie rose to fame in the late 70s and early 80s when she appeared on three consecutive covers of Sports Illustrated‘s Swimsuit Issues.
Christie is a mother to three children. Sailor and Jack, 27, are from her marriage to architect Peter Cook. Her oldest daughter, Alexa, 37, was with musician Billy Joel.

Sailor Brinkley Cook, daughter of former supermodel Christie Brinkley, appeared to be enjoying some down-time while on a European jaunt.
The 24-year-old model shared a series of pics on her Instagram page this week as she kicked off “part one” of what she called her “Wet hot European summer.”
The blonde beauty could be seen from behind in her first photo as she sat ocean-side on a deck edge, showing off a smooth and tanned backside while rocking a deep-blue, one-piece swimsuit.
Keeping her long hair down around her shoulders, Sailor propped her hands on her hips and had her head tilted to the side while her feet dangled just above the water’s surface.
Sailor looked to be going on her adventure alongside some friends, with other snaps being visible further in her post and tags having been added.

Could Lori Loughlin be following in Olivia Jade‘s footsteps? The influencer is currently competing on “Dancing with the Stars” with Val Chmerkovskiy and does not entirely rule out her mother one day doing the show herself.
“Val has been trying to recruit her,” Jade told Page Six.
“I don’t know how many more seasons I’ve got in me, but I’ll stick around,” Chmerkovskiy said.
“But if Lori comes on, then maybe,” Jade quipped before getting serious. “I don’t know. I haven’t really asked her, like, ‘Would you come on and do the show?’ But I think she’s just proud of me.”
Jade and Loughlin have been reentering public life since their family’s involvement in the college admissions scandal in 2019. Loughlin and her husband and Jade’s father, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty last year for bribing the University of Southern California to accept Jade and her sister,...

Sailor Brinkley-Cook has a message for those offended by her decision to wear a protective face mask while out in public. The model and 21-year-old daughter of Christie Brinkley was recently photographed picking up groceries in a N95 mask, a respiratory protective device that hospitals across the nation are experiencing shortages of due to the coronavirus pandemic. After receiving what she described as "hateful messages," Sailor offered an explanation on Instagram. "My mom is an artist and does projects that require her to wear a mask so she had a stash of them in her art studio. We didn't buy them upon hearing about the spread of Covid-19. She kept one mask for each one of our family...

Maksim Chmerkovskiy still isn’t returning to “Dancing with the Stars” in the foreseeable future (if ever), but that’s not the case for his brother, Val Chmerkovskiy.
“I personally still want to serve the show,” Val told “Us Weekly.” “How much longer, I don’t know. If they continue to call me back, I am more than willing to be a part of it and continue to serve my presence on the show.”
A pro since Season 13, Val has twice won the Mirrorball trophy, in Seasons 20 and 23, and is one of the few old guard pros left. Last season, he placed ninth with Sailor Brinkley-Cook. Maks, who won Season 18, last competed on Season 25 in 2017. While his wife Peta Murgatroyd returned last season after a two-year hiatus, Maks been saying for two years — and reiterated last month — that his days as a pro are over (though he’s interesting in...

It’s a good thing there’s no spring season of “Dancing with the Stars” again because if the producers indeed want to give Christie Brinkley another shot, she might not actually be ready to go yet.
The supermodel, who dropped out of Season 28 after breaking her arm days before the premiere in the fall, reveals that her injury has not fully healed and she’ll undergo another procedure on Friday. “I’m going to get Prp and some sort of manipulation to my shoulder, my wrist and my thumb,” Brinkley told “People Now” on Wednesday. “It’s still healing, but not fast enough. I mean, it’s been four months.”
Prp is platelet-rich plasma therapy, a treatment commonly used by athletes to accelerate healing with injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets.

“Dancing with the Stars” won’t return for another nine months, but you can bet the show is already looking at celebrities to lock down for Season 29, including, potentially, another political lightning rod (sigh) and the one that got away this year, Charlie Sheen.
The actor revealed in September that he turned down a spot on Season 28 because he didn’t think he could dance, but Rob Mills, ABC Entertainment’s senior VP of alternative series, specials and late-night programming, isn’t giving up that easily.
“I don’t think it’s a huge secret because he came out and talked about it, but I would still love Charlie Sheen to come on,” Mills told our sister site “Variety.” “I found him to be one of the nicest, most charming people. He is just a born entertainer and I think people would love to see him, but it may not be for him.

The next season of “Dancing With the Stars” won’t premiere until fall 2020, but ABC is already having preliminary conversations about which celebrities they’d like to recruit for Season 29 — and Charlie Sheen is at the top of the list, Variety has learned exclusively.
Sheen recently revealed that he had been given a firm offer to join the last season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but he turned down ABC’s request to participate in Season 28 because he was too afraid to dance. But Variety has learned that ABC still very much has an eye on Sheen for Season 29.

Before Dancing With the Stars kicked off its 28th season, ABC had hinted that some “format tweaks” were coming down the pike — and many a viewer breathed a sigh of relief.
The tweaks would have been a welcome addition to any cycle, really: After 14 years on the air, DWTS needed a little tune-up, controversy notwithstanding. But the changes seemed especially necessary in the wake of Bobby Bones’ Season 27 victory, which left a large swath of the show’s fans annoyed that a weak dancer had won the Mirrorball trophy, while some frontrunners didn’t even reach the finale.

Tonight was the night when “Dancing with the Stars” crowned its season 28 Mirror Ball champion. The show won’t be back in the spring, but fans may need that extra time just to recover from this season’s controversial surprises. So how did it all end? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
It all came down to four celebs: country singer Lauren Alaina, pop star Ally Brooke, “Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown and former “All That” comedian and actor Kel Mitchell. But getting to those finalists was a long and winding road, which included shocking early eliminations of contestants like Sailor Brinkley-Cook, a certain former White House propagandist long overstaying his welcome, and then front-runner James Van Der Beek getting the axe in the Semi-Finals. It all makes the upside-down Bobby Bones season look tame by comparison.

Witney Carson is the last female pro standing on “Dancing with the Stars” — and she’s the only pro left who’s won the show. If she and Kel Mitchell take home the Mirrorball on Monday’s season finale, she’d join a small list of pros with multiple wins.
Sixteen pros have won “Dancing” so far, with seven of them triumphing more than once. Derek Hough is the king of “Dancing,” having scored a record six victories during his 17 seasons — a tally that probably no one will touch, at least for a very, very long time. No other pro has won more than twice.
Cheryl Burke, Julianne Hough, Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson, Peta Murgatroyd and Val Chmerkovskiy are all two-time champs. Burke, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy were all seeking a third trophy this season, but they were all gone by Week 6. In fact, they all left one after another. Burke...

Ally Brooke had a lot riding on the “Dancing with the Stars” Semi-Finals. She had been in the bottom two twice before, so she thought this might be it for her. But instead of playing it safe, she and her pro partner Sasha Farber went for broke, and it paid off. Watch their daredevil Charleston above, and scroll down to check out their redemption waltz from earlier in the evening.
High scores are what have kept Brooke in the competition this long because the last two times she was in jeopardy — with Sailor Brinkley-Cook in week six, then with Kate Flannery in week eight — the judges kept her on the show because they considered her the superior dancer. So her Charleston was a big risk since it was a full-blown production number and had quite possibly the most jam-packed choreography of the night. You certainly couldn’t fault her and...

It has been a long season for “Dancing with the Stars” fans with Sean Spicer boosters keeping him on the show. But on “Boy Band and Girl Group Night” Spicer finally landed in the bottom two (with country singer Lauren Alaina), which finally gave the judges the opportunity to send him home. And the readers we polled breathed a sigh of relief. Scroll down to see our complete poll results and our video recap of this week’s show.
It was nearly unanimous: 97% of respondents said Spicer deserved to be eliminated. That left only 2% who thought Alaina should have been sent home instead, and 1% who thought someone should have been eliminated who wasn’t in the bottom two. Is this the only time this season fans have been happy with an elimination?

Sean Spicer will no longer appear on America’s television sets every Monday evening, at least as part of “Dancing With the Stars.”
The former White House press secretary was voted off “DWTS” Monday night despite President Donald Trump’s earlier tweet urging the American people to vote for Spicer on ABC’s dancing competition show. The tweet has now been deleted and replaced with one calling Spicer’s efforts “a great try” and insisting that “we are all proud of you.”
A great try by @seanspicer. We are all proud of you!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 12, 2019
Spicer responded, thanking the president for his support and writing that he “can’t begin to express how much your continued support has meant.”

After admitting on Monday’s Dancing With the Stars broadcast that she was “confused and a little irritated” by America’s vote, judge Carrie Ann Inaba is weighing in further on this unpredictable season — and the contestant who notably keeps sticking around.
Despite earning the lowest scores of any remaining Season 28 contestant, ex-White House press secretary Sean Spicer has continued to survive each cut. Not only has Spicer made it to the final six, but he’s never even found himself in jeopardy. Instead, well-scored hopefuls like model Sailor Brinkley-Cook, Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown and, most recently, The Office...

There’s been an elephant in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom for a few weeks now, and his name is Sean Spicer.
That’s not meant as a dig at Spicer’s dancing skills (though it’s not an entirely inaccurate comparison, depending on the week). Rather, I’m referencing Spicer’s continued presence on the ABC series, which has started to elicit shock and frustration as he remains on the show despite low scores and minimal improvement. In the last two weeks, Sailor Brinkley-Cook (a well-scored frontrunner) and Karamo Brown (who’d been making huge strides) were both booted,...

“Dancing with the Stars” fans are predicting who will be eliminated tonight in the eighth week of competition, and once again they’re betting on Sean Spicer to be ousted. This isn’t the first time our users have predicted the former White House press secretary to be voted out of office, but he has yet to even come close to elimination. So is his time really up, or is it just wishful thinking?
Spicer is by far the lowest scoring celebrity remaining in the competition. He’s probably the second worst dancer of the entire season, only outperforming basketball star Lamar Odom, who made a valiant effort but never found his footing. But even though Spicer’s scores have stalled — he got 6s from the judges on “Halloween Night” after getting 7s the week before — his fan base has reliably kept him out of harm’s way, so even...

Many “Dancing with the Stars” fans are frustrated by the continued presence of Sean Spicer despite his poor dancing, and now Trevor Noah is calling him out for turning the show into a political culture war to benefit himself. The “Daily Show” host discussed the former White House press secretary’s unlikely rise. And why does Noah care about what happens on the dance competition series? Because Noah competed on the South African version of the show back in 2008 and finished second. Watch his segment above.
The casting of Donald Trump‘s truth-averse mouthpiece was so controversial when it was announced over the summer than even “DWTS” host Tom Bergeron made a rare public statement crying foul. He wanted the show to be a relief from the “exhausting political climate,” and he thought Spicer’s presence would be too divisive. He was right.

Karamo Brown‘s “Halloween Night” elimination from “Dancing with the Stars” wasn’t nearly as surprising as Sailor Brinkley-Cook‘s the week before — we saw this one coming — but it was nearly as unjust, according to our readers. Only 10% of fans we polled thought Brinkley-Cook deserved to go, and now only 11% agree with Brown’s ouster. Scroll down for our complete poll results.
Brown was in the bottom two once before, back in week four when he and basketball star Lamar Odom were the unlucky contestants. But Odom had drastically lower scores, so the judges unanimously decided to save Brown from elimination. This time, however, Brown landed at the bottom with Kate Flannery. It was a split decision: Carrie Ann Inaba voted that Brown should stick around, but Bruno Tonioli and then tie-breaker Len Goodman voted to save Flannery, so Brown was out.

Many people are heartbroken when they get eliminated on “Dancing with the Stars” (see: Sailor Brinkley-Cook), but not Karamo and Jenna Johnson. The “Queer Eye” star exited Monday with a smile on his face, and now his partner says she’s wasn’t that upset either — for good reason.
“I think one of the reasons I’m not as devastated as I thought I would be is because Karamo absolutely nailed his piece and we went out with a bang,” Johnson wrote in her “People” blog. “He really left his mark and entire heart on the dance floor, and I think America saw that.”
Karamo had a bumpy journey on “Dancing,” not starting off too hot technique-wise. But he received his highest score the past two weeks — a 25 — and absolutely attacked his final individual dance, the paso doble. Johnson shared that Karamo was very excited because Halloween is one of...

Dancing With the Stars celebrated Halloween on Monday night, and it was nothing short of a graveyard smash. (And not just because Sean Spicer performed to “Monster Mash,” which is a sentence I never thought I’d write.)
On the heels of Sailor Brinkley-Cook’s shocking elimination last week, the remaining Season 28 hopefuls had to raise their game this time around, and many of them brought Halloween treats to the dance floor this week.

“Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown wasn’t even in the bottom two at the end of last week’s “Dancing with the Stars,” but we think he might be eliminated tonight. That’s according to the combined predictions of “DWTS” fans who have given us their forecasts. But our odds were wrong last week — big time. Will the “Halloween Night” show have another horrific twist ending?
As of this writing Brown gets leading odds of 39/20 of being eliminated. He may not have been in the bottom two last week, but he had the benefit of an emotional contemporary routine inspired by his rocky relationship with his father after coming out of the closet. That was his most personal routine yet, and it earned him his highest scores yet this season, which probably helped him pick up extra votes from the viewing public.

“Dancing with the Stars” screwed up by booting Sailor Brinkley-Cook at the end of week six. That’s according to a whopping 90% of fans who responded in our poll after her surprise elimination. She was sent home despite changes in voting — not the right changes, clearly — and despite the fact that she was the fourth highest-scoring dancer in the whole competition at the time she was ousted. Scroll down for our complete poll results.
Only 10% of our poll respondents thought Brinkley-Cook deserved to be eliminated. Indeed, she tied for the top spot on the judges’ leaderboard on the night she was sent home with straight 9s for her jive. Those scores also tied her for the highest scoring dance anyone performed all season. Bobby Bones wasn’t a great dancer, and he was an odd choice to win “Dancing with the Stars,” but Sean Spicer claiming the Mirror Ball Trophy in season 28 would be a “jump-the-shark moment,” according to Gold Derby editor Daniel Montgomery. Joyce Eng goes as far as saying it would be a “cancellable offense.” But they have to contemplate that result now that Sailor Brinkley-Cook was eliminated and Spicer was once again safe despite drastically lower scores. Watch Montgomery and Eng discuss the latest episode with contributors Jeffrey Kare and Cordell Martin above.

Cheryl Burke was just as shocked as you were at Ally Brooke and Sailor Brinkley-Cook being in the bottom two on “Dancing with the Stars,” but she believes the judges made the right call to send Brinkley-Cook home.
“It was a shocker. I didn’t really expect them to be,” Burke wrote in her “Us Weekly” blog. “I think Carrie Ann Inaba or Bruno Tonioli said something like, ‘We have to see the overall competition and what you’ve performed the last few weeks’ and I agree with their decision.”
While Brinkley-Cook was in a three-way tie atop the leaderboard on Monday, Brooke has been more consistent throughout the season. Still, that doesn’t mean it was easy watching the 21-year-old model get the boot. “I think of Sailor as a little girl and to see her cry like that broke my heart. It was a bittersweet night on “Dancing with the Stars” for Jenna Johnson this week. While she and Karamo received their highest score yet, a 25, and were safe, her husband Val Chmerkovskiy and his partner Sailor Brinkley-Cook were not so lucky. The duo also earned their highest score, a 27, to top the night, but they shocking ended up in the bottom two with Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber, and the judges booted the “Sports Illustrated” model, much to Johnson’s devastation.

And then to see them go was even harder,” Johnson wrote in her “People” blog. “I don’t think that they deserved to go whatsoever. Sailor Brinkley-Cook was the first shocking elimination of the season on “Dancing with the Stars,” getting the boot on Monday after tying for the highest score of the night. But she knew it was coming.
“I mean, the second that it got to Hannah [Brown], Ally [Brooke] and me, I was like, ‘It’s me,'” Brinkley-Cook told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch below). “I look at everyone in this competition and every single week I say to Val [Chmerkovskiy], ‘I can’t see anyone going home, so it’s going to be me.’ But this one I was extremely shocked, honestly.

“Dancing with the Stars” implemented multiple changes to its voting system after Bobby Bones‘ controversial win last year, not to mention Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile also staying well past his expiration date thanks to fan votes despite both being subpar dancers. The first was the introduction of live voting during the broadcasts, which means fans in the Mountain and Pacific time zones have to vote blind without seeing the show yet. The second was giving the judges the power to decide who goes home from the bottom two. The former is kind of terrible for fans, while the latter sounded nice and good on paper. But the truth is that was never going to fix a system that may be irrevocably broken.

Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten were the last couple to be called safe on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday, leaving fellow high scorers Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber, and Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy in the bottom two, with the latter pair getting eliminated. Brown and Bersten, who have the highest average score this season, were visibly worried about their fate until they were declared safe.
“You don’t know and even though I’ve been working so hard, putting everything into it, you never know when that’s gonna be your time, and I would be so sad if it came to an end because I feel like I just have so much more to give,” Brown told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch below). “This has been really great for me and just an emotional experience in the best way to grow and look forward to what my life’s gonna be like.

Season 27 of “Dancing with the Stars” had its share of controversial results, not the least of which was Bobby Bones winning the Mirror Ball Trophy despite having the lowest judges’ scores out of the final four. But this season’s voting changes don’t seem to have helped much: in week six, two of the highest-scoring dancers (Ally Brooke and Sailor Brinkley-Cook) ended up at the bottom, forcing the judges to make a impossible decision: keep Brooke and eliminate Brinkley-Cook even though it was clear the judges wanted both to stay. How do you think voting should change (if at all)? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.

It’s not “Dancing with the Stars” if there’s no shocking elimination in the middle of the season. On Monday, the unfortunate victim was Sailor Brinkley-Cook, who got the boot despite receiving the highest score of the night, a 27, for her jive with Val Chmerkovskiy. Worse, she was in the bottom two with another top contender, last week’s top scorer Ally Brooke, while Sean Spicer avoided the bottom two yet again. The judges chose to save Brooke and her partner Sasha Farber for their consistency throughout the season, and the singer is still stunned that it all happened.

After the controversial Mirror Ball win for Bobby Bones last fall, “Dancing with the Stars” tweaked its voting system going into season 28. But maybe it’s time to overhaul the overhaul. In week six of the competition Sailor Brinkley-Cook got her highest scores of the season, and actually tied for the highest scores anyone has gotten this season so far. Then she was eliminated in ninth place. Watch her jive above. Then scroll down to let us know what you thought of that shocking outcome in our poll below.
Brinkley-Cook was a last-minute substitution on the show after her mom, Christie Brinkley, was injured a few days before the season began. In her clip package this week she admitted to feeling insecure as the daughter of the famous model, and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy tried to get her out of her shell by having them practice their jive in public.

“Tutti Frutti, what a booty!” exclaimed Len Goodman after James Van Der Beek performed a samba during week six of “Dancing with the Stars.” Goodman added that the actor’s “bum was out of control” during his performance with pro partner Emma Slater. We’ve reached the halfway point of Dancing With the Stars‘ current season, and that can only mean one thing: It’s time for the shocking, premature elimination of a very promising contestant!

Sure, the judges have their save this season — but that didn’t do much to console either amateur as they faced potential elimination.

Ally Brooke received the first 9s on “Dancing with the Stars” this season and she may very well be the first to cross the double-digit mark too: 37 percent of our readers believe she’ll nab the first 10.
Brooke, who is tied with the second highest average score this season with James Van Der Beek at 22.2, broke the 9 barrier last week for her contemporary routine, earning three of them across the board for a 27, the top score of the night. That opened the floodgates for three others — Van Der Beek, Hannah Brown and Kel Mitchell — to snag 9s as well. The Fifth Harmony singer has been atop the leaderboard for three straight weeks, but this was the first time she held it solo.
Right on her heels with 33 percent of the vote is Brown, who has the highest average score so far this season at 22.8. The former “Bachelorette” star has twice...

We called it: There was no elimination on “Dancing with the Stars'” Disney Night. You guys are so predictable. The remaining nine couples will hit the hardwood (again) in Week 6, which is theme-less.
Now that contemporary and jazz have made their season debuts, they will rear their ugly heads again on Monday’s show, so you can probably expect some 9s for those numbers.
Here are all the routines:
Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko: contemporary
Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy: jazz
Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber: quickstep
Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten: samba
Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov: Viennese waltz
Karamo and Jenna Johnson: rumba Update Oct. 21: Karamo revealed in an Instagram Story on the official “Dancing” account on Sunday that he has contemporary.
Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson: quickstep
Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold: Viennese waltz
James Van Der Beek...

Bruno said, "You are the ideal Disney princess, and you acted it well too. You apply yourself to your dances. Your spins have much improved." Carrie Ann said, "You got in character so well. That was an amazing dance." Carrie Ann gave Sailor an 8 score,...
