Two episodes into “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” and we’ve officially met two new Captains America — and now a future Young Avenger. Once again, the MCU is cherry-picking pieces of comic lore — this time with Isaiah Bradley and his grandson, Eli.
We meet the Bradleys only briefly in “The Star-Spangled Man,” just after Bucky and Sam get thoroughly bested by the Flag Smashers. Even with the help of the new Captain America, who we now know for sure is John Walker, the freedom fighters come out on top and escape with stolen medicines.
But as it turns out, it’s not just the one Flag Smasher that Torres took on last week who’s super strong — there’s eight of them. The source of their strength? Something derived from the serum that created Bucky and Steve. And also, Isaiah Bradley. According to Bucky, Isaiah “was a hero. One...

It isn't news that Wanda Maximoff is joining the sorcerer supreme in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but how will she end up alongside the Bleecker Street magician, and why? While there are still quite a few WandaVision episodes to go, it's not too early to begin speculating how the series may tie into Wanda's future in the MCU.
In episode three of WandaVision we are finally introduced to fan-favorite characters of the Young Avengers comics, albeit in baby form. Tommy and Billy, aka Speed and Wiccan, make their debut in the MCU as the children of Vision and Wanda. Many of us are wondering what will happen to the twin boys, as it's been established that the reality Wanda is living in doesn't actually exist. Because they came from Wanda's body, and she is possibly the only real person in this warped reality, will Tommy and Billy...

Through the first three episodes of “WandaVision,” the only thing we know for certain is that we have no idea just what the heck is going on in Marvel Studios’ first TV series.
TheWrap caught up with “WandaVision” head writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer Monday, and while she was light on details about what is happening she did promise that they’ll start to answer some of the many burning questions fans about the trippy, sitcom-inspired series.
“We will need to start answering some questions and clarifying what’s going on,” Schaeffer admits. “I don’t want to spoil it by telling you how we do it, but there are answers to be had in the upcoming episodes.”
To recap, the first handful of half-hours finds Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) living in a charming, sitcom-perfect neighborhood of Westview. Of course, the problems are 1) Wanda and...

This article contains Wandavision Episode 3 spoilers, and potential spoilers for future episodes, the wider MCU, and Marvel Comics. We have a spoiler free review here.
WandaVision episode 3 is the first full color episode of the series, and moves the setting from the black-and-white 1960s of the previous episodes to a vibrant Brady Bunch-esque Technicolor of the early 1970s. There’s lots of fun weirdness to find between the lines, both from a Marvel and MCU Easter eggs standpoint and callouts to classic sitcoms of its era.
Let’s get to work…
Sitcom Inspiration
Let’s start with the big one…
The Brady Bunch
This episode borrows almost the entirety of its aesthetic from all-time classic sitcom The Brady Bunch. Wanda and Vis’s house strongly resembles Mike and Carol Brady’s humble ranch home inside and out. The gorgeous wide wooden staircase in particular is a real tell – as is...

Surprise, it's twins! WandaVision dropped another doozy of a shock for viewers in the Jan. 22 episode that comes in the form of Wanda and Vision's bundles of joy. Named Billy and Tommy, the twins are born after an eventful few days that have both Mom and Dad driving themselves mad and leading to the expulsion of Wanda's good friend Geraldine. (Or is she someone else?) Regardless, Wanda and Vision have welcomed their boys home and are ready to settle into a happy, quiet life.
Sike! Comic-book readers know this is just the beginning for the new family of four. Although Wanda and Vision also have kids in the comics who arrive in about the same way - via magic - the circumstances around their births aren't the same. In WandaVision, Billy and Tommy come into existence with seemingly no work on Wanda's part and to her surprise. In the comics,...

(This article contains spoilers for the third episode of the Marvel series “WandaVision” on Disney+)
Episode 3 of “WandaVision” saw Wanda’s mysterious pregnancy come to fruition, with a little help from new Westview resident Geraldine. Sure, it’s great to see Wanda experiencing some happiness, even if we know there’s some catch to this whole reality. But viewers are probably wondering exactly who those twins are and if they have any significance to Wanda’s life beyond just this series.
The answer is yes. And we should pay close attention to their introduction as it’s extremely likely that they are Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd. As we saw in this episode, before they knew they were having twins Wanda and Vision had an argument about what name to go with — Vision wanted Billy and Wanda wanted Tommy. It’s hard to imagine that it’s just a fun...

Top Recording Academy officials agreed with Grammy nominees for best children’s album that the 2021 nominations for the category are not diverse, according to a report in Billboard.
The article states that during a Dec. 11 meeting with members of the Family Music Forward organization and two acts that asked for their nominations to be withdrawn from the category, Recording Academy officials — including interim president/CEO Harvey Mason, jr. and chief diversity officer Valeisha Butterfield Jones — conceded that the nominees and the nomination-review committee for the category were not sufficiently diverse.
Early last month, the Okee Dokee Brothers, Alastair Moock and collaborator Anand Nayak, and the children’s act Dog on Fleas publicly asked the Academy to withdraw their nominations from the category because all of the nominees were white. Following the Dec. 11 meeting, the Academy determined that the three acts will not be included and the Grammy for the category...

Tom Holland has emerged as one of the central figures of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future, both on-screen and off, and when asked in a recent interview which Disney+ series he’d like his high school hero to cameo in given the choice, the actor responded with his customary British enthusiasm, saying:
“I think the WandaVision show looks really cool…very stylistic. It almost looks like a bit of a sitcom with the way they’ve shot it. Paul and Elizabeth are, like, two of the nicest people I know, and I would love to work with them some more… That’d be great, Kevin Feige… If you want to do that, you know my number.”
The second Disney+ offering set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, WandaVision is already shaping up to be a busy program. The six-episode series will feature the returns of Wanda Maximoff (and her comic-accurate costume) and the formerly-dead Vision,...
