With a New Year comes a triumphant return to The Coterie!
It feels like ages since we've tuned into Good Trouble, and all the fun, heartache, and shocking cliffhangers abound at The Coterie.
And we won't have to wait much longer before we can dive into a new season.
We only have to get past those pesky holidays.
Good Trouble will return with the second part of its fifth season on January 2, and there's so much to look forward to when it does.
For one, Cierra Ramirez herself will be directing during the second half of this season, which is a huge feat and such an accomplishment for an actress who continues to excel at her work.
The new promo teases teamwork, the series leaning heavily into its found family, and even actual family goodness when we glimpse Stef and Lena -- possibly at Callie's wedding reception!

Once upon a time, animated movies made it easy to tell the heroes apart from the villains. Now, the trend is for princesses to remain happily unmarried (“Frozen”), for kids to know better than their elders (“Encanto”) and for monsters to be revealed as misunderstood allies (“Luca”). For a while, those twists on the Disney fairy-tale formula felt surprising to audiences, aligning nicely with where the cultural conversation was headed. Through repetition, however, such enlightenment has become its own cliché.
Enter Nimona, who brings a fresh dose of attitude to such inclusive messaging. She’s a monster, but doesn’t like to be called that. (And who can blame her?) Apparently the only one of her kind in a fictional kingdom where medieval customs and flying cars aren’t mutually exclusive, Nimona is capable of shape-shifting into practically any species — be it a shark, a rhinoceros or a ginormous dragon...

The Cleaning Lady Season 2 had its strong points.
Killing off Marco early allowed for storylines for the entire family, including letting Fiona see Thony's criminal activities. Thony embraced her criminal side to protect her family, and Arman did the same to keep Nadia safe.
Most of the storylines featured action and drama, but we missed the romance between Arman and Thony. TV Fanatics Jasmine Peterson and Laura Nowak discuss the highs and lows of The Cleaning Lady Season 2.

Jasmine: It's hard to choose a storyline I enjoyed most this season. It was interesting to see what Arman would do after he killed Hayak. Arman being forced to work for Kamdar placed him in a unique position and stalled his attempts to forge his own path.
Seeing him, Nadia and Thony caught up in Robert's web as that carried out the whole season was fascinating.
