If you thought you’d seen it all when it came to Superheroes, the mega hit series ‘The Boys’ by Amazon Prime Original series made everyone eat humble pie. The series offers an alternative take on the superhero world and the way they are perceived in a way beyond your wildest imagination.
Set in a world where the multi-billion corporation Vought has their own brand of superheroes called The Seven or Supes, who have undisputed power over the public, politicians and the truth, we see a band of people team up to put them in their place and revolt against injustice.
After a phenomenal season 1, The Boys are ready to rock in season 2 with new episodes being dropped every Friday on Amazon Prime Video. With a third season already on the cards, it appears as though the show's incredible cast is going to be around for a very long time.

Hey, Upper East Siders! It looks like a Gossip Girl fan has noticed a few plot holes in the show's first episode. Now, the social media sleuth is serving as "your one and only source" into the scandalous revelations. TikTok user Hadeel, a.k.a., @Hadeelornodeal, spilled the tea earlier this month in a video called "things in the Gossip Girl pilot episode that just doesn't make sense." So, what was revealed about Lonely Boy, B and the rest of the crew? For starters, Hadeel drew attention to a scene in which Penn Badgley's character Dan Humphrey was riding the bus with Chace Crawford's character Nate Archibald and Ed Westwick's character Chuck Bass. The Gossip Girl guru noted...

On the primetime soap “Gossip Girl,” Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford played two very different teen characters: Badgley’s Dan Humphrey was a member of the Brooklyn literati, while Crawford’s Nate Archibald inhabited Manhattan’s social whirl. Now, their grown-up roles subvert those images: Badgley plays a bookseller — and snobbish serial murderer — on Netflix’s “You,” while Crawford makes for a smirking, haughty superhero on Amazon’s “The Boys.” Of course, the two actors had a lot to say about “Gossip Girl” too. They talked to each other over video chat for Variety‘s Actors on Actors issue.
Chace Crawford: Penn, buddy! I checked out Season 1 of “You” a couple of years ago, but watching Season 2 last night, it was interesting to see a guy I worked with for so long on my TV screen again. But was it interesting for you — the show starting out at Lifetime having a certain trajectory,...

There's a lot about the ending of Gossip Girl that still rubs me the wrong way, but few things are as disappointing as Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) being revealed as the Gossip Girl in the 2012 series finale. Not only does it turn the character into a complete sociopath and make Serena marrying him extremely cringe, but it also makes no sense, you guys.
But, thanks to a recent admission from the show's writer and executive producer Joshua Safran, we now know that Dan was originally never supposed to be the person behind the blog about the lives of Manhattan's elite. During a chat about the series at this year's Vulture Festival in La, BuzzFeed reports that Safran explained that he never intended Dan to be the big reveal.

Spotted: Nate Archibald going from zaddy to daddy? Not quite, but Chace Crawford is more than open to returning to the world of Gossip Girl for the new HBO Max series. "I'd play a dad now, I guess!" Crawford joked to EW when asked if he'd be Nate or a new character. "No, I have no idea. I just love Josh and Stephanie and if they wanted me to come and do anything it would be hard to say no." The new Gossip Girl is set in the same world of the original CW series Crawford starred in alongside Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley. As of now, there have been no official announcements about any cast members returning, in fact the tone of it is still coming together. ...

A spinoff of Gossip Girl was recently announced, and we're all dying to know who we can expect to see from the original cast. The show, which is headed for HBO Max, doesn't yet have a confirmed cast, but here's what we know about whether or not the original stars might show up.
The starring duo, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, are on slightly different pages with coming back to their Gossip Girl roots. Lively told Variety in 2017 that she would never say never to becoming Serena van der Woodsen again, but at the moment she's wrapped up in being a mom of two (soon to be three) little ones with husband Ryan Reynolds. Meester, on the other hand, told Good Morning America in August that she wasn't asked to join the reboot, even though showrunner Josh Schwartz told The Wrap at the Summer TCA that he had reached out...

Chace Crawford has left Nate Archibald about as far behind as he could with his new role in Amazon Prime's The Boys. Crawford now plays a superhero who's got the super part down but isn't much of a hero, because in this satirical world, the superheroes have been corrupted by power. His character is called The Deep, the self-proclaimed King of the Sea, and he's not a nice dude. "We're kinda flipping it on its head, and these superheroes are essentially the bad guys and doing all these corrupt things," Crawford told E! News in an interview earlier this year. "I think that it's fun, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not like these altruistic superheroes...

Chace Crawford first caught our attention when he played Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl, but lately his roles have been the complete opposite of the Upper East Side playboy. In addition to playing Tex Watson in the upcoming Charles Manson biographical drama Charlie Says, the 33-year-old is set to star on the dark superhero drama on Amazon, The Boys. While his acting career has certainly evolved over the years, one thing that has remained is his swoon-worthy good looks. Whether he's piercing our hearts with his gorgeous eyes, or he's giving us a smirk on the red carpet, these photos will make you Team Nate all over again.
