Fort Lauderdale, Fla – He was the heart throb-iest of the teen heart throbs when he came onto the scene in the early 1970s. David Cassidy was the driving force of the manufactured-for-tv pop act The Partridge Family, which provided a soundtrack for their era. Cassidy died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the age of 67, on November 21st, 2017.
David Cassidy fought the demons of his sudden fame for virtually the rest of his life after the Partridge Family era, admitting an alcohol problem after being arrested for a DUI in 2013. Earlier this year, he announced that he was living with non-Alzheimer’s dementia, which ran in his family. But during the burst of infamy he had in the early 1970s, there was no greater beloved pin-up teen than Cassidy, who ushered in a parade of dreamy 1970s boys like Donny Osmond, Vincent Van Patten, Leif Garrett and his half brother, Shaun Cassidy.

There's always a few players every season who fall prey to the "Survivor gods," and this time, it was Alan Ball.
The NFL player got his torch snuffed on Wednesday's episode of Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers after Devon got his vote taken away with a game advantage -- and Joe used his idol to protect himself from elimination.
"I think the elements of the game affected my fate, and that's how it went down," Alan confessed over the phone to Et on Thursday. "I think I was playing a good game. I don't think it got away from me at all... but Joe found the idol, and that's part of the game."
The Houston, Texas, native, did, however, have a feeling that his game could be heading towards elimination.

Last time on Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, the Yawa Tribe (red buff "Hustlers") once again attended tribal council, where Patrick Bolton was sent home in a fog of disbelief and hurt feelings. Season 35 certainly isn't skimpy on the blindsides.
But, for the contestants, everything is about to change, because Jeff Probst is going to tell the tribes to drop their buffs. Just like that, the game starts anew!

“Survivor” is back on Global! Each week Et Canada will be interviewing the latest castaway voted off the island. Patrick Bolton was going to leave Survivor the same way he came in -- with a lot of personality.
The Auburn, Alabama, native became an instant topic of conversation when Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers premiered last month, but not necessarily for good reasons. Patrick seemed to treat the game more like a vacation... that is, until he was voted out on Wednesday night's episode.
"It was one of the best blindsides, because I saw none of it coming," he told Et over the phone on Thursday. "Until we got to tribal council, Lauren was going home."
Months later, Patrick, who wished his tribe of Hustlers a "horrible game" for being "liars," doesn't count his heated goodbye among his gameplay regrets.

Despite being one of the two most likely to go home on last week’s “Survivor,” Lauren Rimmer, the 35-year-old fisherman of the Hustlers tribe, received no votes for elimination at tribal council. Instead, her tribe chose brawn over loyalty in their decision to oust Simone Nguyen over Patrick Bolton. But Lauren isn’t completely out of […]...

Survivor castaways are often filled with regret about their game play after missing out on the million, but Simone Nguyen's what-ifs are of a much different nature.
"Like, if I'm being completely honest, I would have put myself on a tribe of all the hotties," she bluntly told Et over the phone on Thursday, after watching her elimination the night before.
"Oh my god, Alan is so hot. Cole is so hot. Devon is so hot. Jessica is so hot. Desi is so hot. Ali is so hot. Like, there's so many good-looking people," she continued. "I would imagine to myself, 'If only we were on a tribe of 10 people, and I got all the hot, athletic people and then me.' That would have been a dream come true!"
"I'm in a very committed relationship, but I was away from home, so it's fun to look at," she continued. "My boyfriend...
