YouTube has provided more details about its latest collaboration with Former First Lady Michelle Obama -- which was announced in October as a learning-centric special that will highlight girls’ education initiatives around the globe.
Dubbed Creators for Change with Michelle Obama: Girls’ Education, the series will see Obama, Liza Koshy, Julia Roberts, Lana Condor, Vietnamese actress Ngô Thanh Vân, and Jenna Bush Hager visiting a school in Vietnam. The series is also being produced in collaboration with the Obama Foundation’s Girls Opportunity Alliance, which promotes adolescent girls education around the world. YouTube and the Alliance will also be sending creators to India and Namibia to profile girls education on the ground there.
Creators For Change, for its part, is a YouTube initiative initially established in 2016 to furnish funds for creators whose work is focused on social advocacy.
